"B-but dad.. " I was crying by then. It just wasn't fair! I've lived in New York my whole life and yet my dad wants to take me away to California! God Helen please do something! "Annabeth please just, just understand okay! This is an opportunity for me to get promoted and for us to start a life in another area! " Dad tried for a happy tone but trust me right now, all I wanted to do was cut that little smile off of his face! I am furious and I know it! I balled my fists angrily. That's the only way. "I. Am. Not. Going. Anywhere! You've maybe already met your soulmate! But what about me! And plus, I'm 18 dad! 18! I'm legally an adult! I can move out if I want y'know!" I screamed.

Well I do have a point! I'm legally an adult! I can do what I want to! And since when did my dad think of my happiness!? Helen was the only one there for me, along with Thalia and Jason! My eyes puffy and red  and blurry with tears, at the moment are just not really helping me with my eyesight.

"She's got a point Frederick! Just- leave her be! She can stay in this house on her own while we're at California! What's the big deal in it!" Like I said, Helen was surely angry with my dad's stupid argument! And she is right after all! "Exactly! I can live here! In this house that I've been since I was born!"

"Uhm- yeah about this house... I- uh kinda-"

"You did NOT! Oh my god Frederick! You could've talked to us before selling the house!" Helen shouted.

"... Selling- this house- " More tears. What in tartarus was he thinking! "I'm going to Thalia's place" I breathed out. "No- Annabeth!" I was at the door and was about to open it when helen said something. "I have a place where you can stay sweetie, just, please don't go anywhere right now" She said in one breath. I just look at her with an expressionless face. And nodded my head. Gods I hate these hiccups after crying. They are annoying and considering the fact that my dad has annoyed me enough right now, you could just imagine what these stupid hiccups were doing to me. Helen ran to the kitchen and came out with her phone in her hand, pressed to her ear.

It was a moment before she spoke "Hey! Sally how are you?" She said. Hmm Sally? "Hm- yeah yeah I'm good too thx for asking-" she cleared her throat "-hey you told me the other day your son was- yeah. Yeah" there were a few 'yeahs' and 'ohs' before Helen spoke again. "So I was wondering if my daughter could stay with him, for a while or I think- uhm until she graduates..?-" helen looked up at me with a raised eyebrow. Wow my shows really need a wash y'know, they- yeah I can't just keep looking at my shoes!!

It was nice to know that helen was doing something about this commotion I had started in the house. I'm not usually the one who does that. Its Bobby and Mathew. And anyway, this is the only thing I have ever asked for from my dad and helen. Well other than buying me books and permission for having a job since, it's nice to know that you earn your own money and don't have to spend your parent's. I've always wanted a small job at a cafe or candy store or some library or-

"Oh my god! Thankyou so much Sally!! I just hope it won't be a problem for you, just tell me about the rent and we'll pay every month and- oH Sally no- I can't just-" I was brought back from my thoughts by Helen basically being more happy than I was.

With hope in my eyes, I looked at her and asked "What happened..?". She looked at me, smiling, "my university friend, Sally Jackson lives by and she had told me her son was living alone in this apartment near by and was also looking for a roommate. I asked her if the offer was still available. You can pack your bags, we're leaving in two days and so should you"
