The omega was biting on his lower lips, feet tapping on the floor and his left hand clutching on the hem of his shirt. Usually Jin hyung would pick up his call less than fifth rings but right now he almost need to call the older for the third time after the operator answering him instead.

Jimin sighed as he decided to give up already but then his phone ringing as Jin hyung's name displayed on his phone screen causing the omega to smile in relief and answer the call immediately.

"Jimin I'm sorry! I left my phone in my room when you called"
The older said right after Jimin pick up the call

"No it's okay, I understand"
He said as he heard Jin sighed in relief on another side

"Okay by the way did Jungkook tell you anything about the gift for his birthday?"

"He isn't and his birthday is tomorrow! How can I know what does he want?"
Jimin whined softly, not wanting to catch attention from the alpha downstairs who was playing his overwatch while wearing headphone

"He was like that every year Jimin, I guess I will take the others along with me tomorrow with some foods-"

"Jimin! Can you go and get the food at the door!? I'm busy!"
Jungkook yelled from the downstairs causing the omega to roll his eyes

Yeah, he is busy playing the overwatch for almost two hours straight.

With that Jimin end the call after saying goodbye to Jin hyung in huryy. He then running down the stairs as fast as he can by using his short legs. The alpha seems not finished his game yet as he still pressing the controller button aggressively as if the button will broke after a few more pressure from him.

Jimin thanks the delivery guy as he bring the food packages to the living room, where's Jungkook is sitting right now. Then, he saw the older cheered in victory while punching the air happily. From the reaction Jimin can guess that he won the game again.

"did you order fried chicken hyung?"
Jimin asked as the savoury smell came from the packages was enough to caused his mouth to water

"yeah, eat this with me since these are too much for me to finish them alone"
Jungkook said as he began to stuff his mouth with the fried chicken

The omega only shook his head at Jungkook's childish behavior before he opens another package and put the boneless fried chicken into his mouth, enjoying the cheese and spicy taste with closed eyes.

"I noticed you eat a lot lately hyung"
Jimin said with full mouth

"really? I planned to go to gym tomorrow"
Jungkook shrugged his shoulders

"gym? tomorrow?"

"yeah tomorrow, you want to join?"
The alpha offered but Jimin shook his head side to side

"No you can't go! Not tomorrow!"
Jimin said rather quickly

Jungkook grew curious as he raised his eyebrows at the omega while giving him a questioning look.

"and why I can't go tomorrow?"
He asked causing Jimin to gulp and looking at somewhere else

"it's b-because.. I don't want to go! so you can't go too! or else I will be alone!"
Jimin said but the alpha only chuckles at his behavior

The clock on the wall shows almost twelve midnight and Jimin is nowhere near sleepy because he is feeling restless as he looks at the clock every second with shaky legs. He gulped on his saliva before making his way to the upstairs where Jungkook's bedroom is located. The door was knocked on several times from outside but Jimin did not hear any sound from inside and this caused Jimin to assume that Jungkook was asleep.

Slowly Jimin tip toeing into the dark room before he turned on the dim light located on the nightstand by the bed. Thanks to the help of the lamp because Jimin was finally able to see Jungkook's handsome face even though he was sleeping soundly. Jimin smiled then he sat on the floor facing Jungkook who was lying on the bed.

He hesitantly reaching out his hand to touch Jungkook's dark brown hair which managed to attract his attention. As soon as Jungkook's hair lingered around his short fingers, once again a smile was etched on Jimin's lips along with a deep blush plastered on his cheeks. Jimin starts to ruffles his hair gently so he doesn't disturb Jungkook's sleep.

"hyungie, happy birthday~"
The omega whispered before he giggles lightly feeling Jungkook's hair tickling his finger tip

"You are meanie because you refuse to tell me what you want as a birthday present"
Jimin whispered again as he began to pout

Soon Jimin felt like he was at the edge of tears so he quickly changed his gaze away from the alpha. He gulped down his saliva again before he sniffed softly.

"Maybe I failed as your friend to be faithful to be by your side for the last ten years and I know it is not your fault why you changed but believe me I have for you now and I will try my best to avoid repeating the same mistakes"
Jimin said smiling as he let a single tear escaped from the corner of his eye

Although he knows that it is useless for him to say all this to Jungkook who is sleeping but he knows he will not have a chance to say all this if he faces this alpha later. Jimin let out a shaky breath before he used his sweater paw to wipe away the tears.

"am I disturbing your dreams hyung? If yes then, I'm so sorry and I will get going then"
Jimin said chuckling in tears while trying to stand up silently

"oh, and the couch will be mine tonight~"
He whispered again and close the door leaving the alpha to sleep in peace.

One thing he really did not know, Jungkook was actually awake and he had heard all the utterances from Jimin. He even had time to peek at the crying omega and the sight caused his chest tight. He did not want Jimin to cry because of him.

Jungkook is now lying on his back and covering his eyes with his arm, sighing deeply followed by tears flowing down his cheeks. The longer his chest felt narrow the narrower it caused him to have difficulty breathing and the tears flowed faster than before.

"j-jiminie"
