9 || Slowly but Surely

[TECHNOBLADE'S POV]

"Good morning Techno!" Was the first words I heard when I opened my eyes. I smiled when I saw Y/n holding a cup of coffee beside me.

"Morning..." I said with a morning voice and slowly sit up on the platform. I then took the cup of coffee from her hands then smiled.

"Philza instructed me to give this to you before he will leave here, oh! And also, the compass is on his hands" She said with a bright smile plastered on her face.

Her face was really pale, the Iris and the Pupil on her eyes are gone which only leaves the Sciera. There were ghost tears on her cheeks that cannot be removed. Her face looked completely empty but she still manages to smile so brightly.

"Alright..." Is all I can say before I stood up to stretch my back. "What did you do in your free time?"

"Oh no I didn't do much actually, I was just here sitting beside your sleeping figure and listen to your heartbeat" she expressed and chuckled

"That's great" I looked over her who was already clearly melting from the cold already. "Oh yeah- I completely forgot you were a ghost. Stay there and I'll take something, alright?" She nodded

I rushed to go downstairs and check for some spare clothes to cover her up. I just recently remembered how ghosts melt in the cold but you can't blame me- I have ADHD.

I opened each chests but could not find a single spare clothe, so I looked over to the only chest left.

I walked towards the chest and opened it, revealing the fixed old cloak of Y/n. "I hope this won't trigger any memories of Y/n..." I mumbled to myself and shakily grabbed the cloak.

I let out a light air and went upstairs.

"Hey Y/n! I got you a-" I stopped when I saw her wrapped in a blanket. I awed softly and slowly walked towards her ghostly body wrapped in a blanket.

"Oh hello Techno!" She greeted me

"Hey" I simply greeted back before putting the cloak on top of her to kerp out of the cold.

"This cloak looks oddly familiar to me" she mumbled but enough for me to hear the exact words from her.

"It is?" She nodded at me and looked behind her to check out the cloak.

"Red...red....red........" she went silent when she repeatedly said those "....red..." she mumbled before looking down on the wooden floor.

"Should I remove it? This cloak might trigger your memo-" she shook her head.

"It's okay...I'm trying to revive my memories as soon as possible" She said to me with a serious tone then turned to me giving out a smile before looking down at the floor again.

We sat in silence and the only thing that can be heard are the winds, the mobs going around my home, my deep breaths and my heartbeats.

The sudden change of the mood of GhostY/n send shivers down to my spine because I never saw her become this serious.

I looked over her who is already standing up. I stood up with her and tried to break the silence but to be only back faced.

"I'm sorry Techno but I gotta go..."

"Huh?"

"I need to go know Techno" she repeated

"But it's snowing-"

"I'll risk it" she said then turned to me "Don't worry, I'll be safe" was the last words I heard from her before she disappeared from my sight. I looked down on the floor and only see the blanket, meaning that she have the cloak with her

[GHOSTY/N'S POV]

I flew away from the pink-haired male's house towards to my treehouse. The cloak that was he securely put around me was getting held by the air, so I had to remove it and hold it the whole time.

I had to fly away from the snow as fast as possible so that I won't melt away. As soon as I reached the end point of the snow, I went to the right so that I will reach my treehouse faster.

As soon as I have reached at my treehouse, I paced around my room look for my book and quill. I opened the first chest I saw and immedietly saw my book and quill. I grabbed it and opened the second page.

I read each one of the sentences before turning to the other page. I got my quill ready to write on my third page.

Red code...

Blood...

Blood God...

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD.

I shakily wrote them in my book and then closed it after. Those words were stuck in my head and it is making me want to scream.

What is happening? I thought and felt the urge to throw my book at the ground but I can't.

I closed my eyes and threw my book on the wooden floor with a scream of agony coming out from my mouth.

"AAAHHHHH!!! STOP STOP STOP!" I shouted and gripped unto my hair. "STOP PLEASE STOP THE PAIN! NO NO NOOOO!!" I shouted once more time and beat myself to stop my train of thoughts.

Lover.

Enemy.

Brother.

Government.

Anarchy.

Mother.

Father.

Death.

Those words are unnecesarry but it was the words that kept running in my head.

"PLEASE STOP STOPP NO AHHHH!!!" I screamed and stopped unexpectedly when I felt someone hold me.

"GhostY/n are you okay? Here, have this blue" I turned around just to see Ghostbur standing in fear with a blue on his hands.

"T-thanks Ghostbur..." I shakily took the blue and sighed "I'm sorry..for scaring you..."
