Autumn killed The summer with The softest kiss.

Boredom.
The sun beamed through the wide curtains, Blinding Yeosang by the strong ray of sunshine as he clamped a hand over his face, Preventing the yellow glows from sneaking into the weak eyeballs of his squinted eyes.
It was normal, For most of the days passing by like this. Recently, Seonghwa hasn't been around him that much - Traveling around the world and attending business trips, Was the reason above everything else.
It was his day off, And he sat on the couch doing nothing - Fluffy blonde hair covering his eyes and cheek in the palm of his hand, Absentmindedly looking at whatever show was playing on the tv.
In casual times. He'd crack the stupidest jokes to lighten up his mood, And Yeosang never missed out any opportunities to laugh about whatever he was telling, Even if it was the stupidest comment one could make, Or what he should probably call... A contempt, Whether or not did he mean it. He couldn't name it.
So far, They had only communicated through phones which was mostly for reassurances that everything was alright, Either way, He missed the elder dearly - Since they hadn't really hooked up except the day back at Seonghwa's office, Which Yeosang should've seen coming by the amount of work they had to do to make sure everything was in place, Thus why he had decided to keep the ravenette company, And preferred to fly with him instead of having him miles away. And confidently, Seonghwa rejected - And trusted him with the issues that would occur while he was away.
"I miss you," Yeosang spoke on the phone, Sounding small and helpless - And at the same time, He bit his nail as he anxiously waited for a reply.
"I miss you, Too," A light chuckle could be heard on the side of the phone, And some shuffling sound took place which indicated that he had shifted on a more comfortable position.
Upon hearing the answer, Yeosang hummed and bit his bottom lip - Not realizing he had been grinning like an idiot until his round cheeks hurt a little bit. He cleared his throat, Pushing away each and every impure thoughts, "Is everything, Mayhap, Going as planned?"
"Yeah, Everything is well. By the way, How are you doing? How are things back there?"
"Things are going fine, And- And... I just realized how incomplete it here without you actually is," Yeosang can't stop himself from giggling bashfully, And even though every word being spoken Is out of control and not thought about for a second, He still cringes when he uses the tiniest bit of affection, Which he surely gets in return - Cheeks burning with a light blush as he breathes.
"Are you saying you miss my insults, Or my presence, Yeosang?" Seonghwa then asked, Emphasizing the word on purpose - And with eyes closed, Yeosang could clearly envision the smirk on his face as he knew the teasing had slowly begun, Just like all the other times when the older's tone had gotten deep and raspy whenever he engaged in a game, Leaving the blonde staying up all night long, Sinking into the mattress in shame.
"I-... Nevermind." A soft sigh fell from his lips, And he curled himself out of frustration. The words he had been wanting to let the taller male know, Now were just pure nonsense. Had he ever thought he would be tongue-tied, The doubt was gone.
"Oh, Did I upset the baby? That's sad... I'd have really loved to hear more from you, Kang."
"I... Seo-"
"I have to go, Yeosang, I need to meet with a client," He suddenly said, And Yeosang's smile faltered upon hearing the words. He felt uneasy, Confused, Hurt - And all blended into a sad frown. He hummed, And seemingly the latter did not think about his statement twice. Before he could register it, The line went silent. Though, He did not mind much about it. Seonghwa had always kept their conversations short and sweet, Ending it the very same way.
With a sigh of disappointment - He fell back into the couch, Wondering what he could do to kill the few more dreadful hours ahead of him.
"Yeosang, Open up!" The high-pitched sound of a familiar voice comes in the other side of the door, And Yeosang is almost too sure to just let himself glue to the softness of the cushion. Although, He would have, If the thumps had stopped. The fear of getting his door knocked down freaked him out, And hesitant steps mixed with the uncomfortable feeling inside him as he slowly opened the door.
"Oh, Hey, Jongho, Do you need something?"
"Yeah, I need to talk to you, My mind... Is out of control."

⋆ 2 MONTHS LATER ⋆
♡
The street is empty, Pockets accompanied by icy cold hands - Defining a lonely jog towards his destination as he walks down the pavement in silence.
It had been months since his last encounter with the male with the bowl cut, When in all honesty - It feels like forever. He wished he had chose not to consider accepting any uninvited visitors that day, And the terrible ache in his abdomen all shows that nothing is okay. At all.
'I like you, Yeosang.'
Words can not describe how terribly shocked he was in the moment, Poisonous air inhaled as his lungs could no longer work on their own. It all happened so fast, In a rapid blink of an eye - He did not have the chance to process It coming through. The hurt of the harshness confining the room around them followed by the slam of the door as he left, A growing nightmare of tragedy gobbling him as he softly clutched onto the ends of his sleeves.
This was a bad dream...
And how closeJongho was to kissing Yeosang in the hallway.
He was not despicable enough to trick Jongho into telling him fake news, And giving him false hopes that bluntly lead to nowhere. There was already someone else, Someone who had taken over his sanity... And it certainly was not him.
'Get out.'
His legs were out of energy, And somehow - They kept moving, Until he found himself in front of the same bench he had poured out his gloom on the other day. And how bizarrely warm he felt when he woke up, Having fallen asleep the night before. It felt nice, But now, It's far from good.
Out of nowhere, It was so cold - But his body was ablaze by the tight turtleneck squeezing his neck, Eyes set on rages of fire as he squeezed them shut to forbid weeping. Everything was so messed up, To the point where he had to do everything in his power to avoid the sight of the younger, And the overflowing, Fatal spark of malice burning brighter than the stars whenever their careless gazes accidentally met.
He was so lost, He did not even notice his phone boosting up with phone calls from Seonghwa...
