Many things,
Sometimes
Even

Spinning the pen back and forth, Drawing lines down the paper and nonsense had taken all of his distraction. His head raised for a second, And it met with the direction of the outside. The atmosphere out of the room was much calmer, Way more entertaining than it had been inside. But for him - It was rather like a dark cloud hovering over him, Blinding and deluding him for the sake of it's own good.

With his feet on the floor and pushing the ground, The chair started moving sideways, And the noise of it's legs making a friction on the ground was the only source of sound at the moment. Although, His eyes were never really focused anywhere - His gaze was averted on the desk in front of him as he recalled the memory of the steamy night he and Seonghwa had shared back then.

When just he stepped his feet inside the luxurious property, He had expected the older male to summon on him; Ready to get explanations from that night. But what he imagined was extremely the very opposite. His eyes met momentarily with Seonghwa's deadly ones, And when he was ready enough to be called on - The man's gaze had already led to somewhere else, And ignored him way worse than he should have.

The pair of soft, Concerned eyes he'd once met were no longer alive, And were replaced with ignorant and insolent ones. And when Yeosang realized he had done it on purpose not to face him, What was the only mature reason for him to understand that the things happening that night were just a one-night stand and nothing else.

'Men like you can't find true love, Not everyone is how you expect them to be.' His mother often told him, Although when he was left alone with nothing instead of drowning in his own insecurities - That was one advice he had never forgotten even to this day.

Although when he started to realize the truth hidden behind the deceiving words that had taken over his ears, All he could think about was how comfortable he felt whilst having the older inside of him.

The way Seonghwa had avoided him today almost every minute proved otherwise. Not did he just get neglected, But not called on the whole day at all as he was about to combust with anger and confusion - Which was strange despite the other times where he'd call on him using bullshit excuses in order to exasperate him.

Slowly shifting and reaching for a few papers that had a post-it on the top of it marked as 'Recent recruitments', He was constantly moved up onto his feet - And found himself walking towards Seonghwa's office. Thorough the day, He had tried to confront the man about it - But haven't had the courage to do so, And found this as an excuse to leave and see him.

"What is the matter, Yeosang?"

Yeosang flinched upon hearing the other's hoarse voice, And buried his shame in the pit of the papers in his hands as he tried not to seem suspicious. Seonghwa's deep orbs were already on him, Hands folded as he always had. He stood there for a minute, And the awkward silence was enough for Yeosang to pour out all of his emotions into one.

"Why have you been ignoring me?" He mustered up the courage to ask, Completely forgetting about having been there to deliver the mails of information about newbies. Although, He would have remembered - If he was there for it in the first place.

"What do you mean?" Seonghwa raised an eyebrow, Vague irises watching Yeosang up and down. A lump formed in his throat that was caused by a sudden shock when the shorter's grasp tightened around the papers, Creating wrinkles on each side as if he tried to refrain his anger.

"Is it because of what happened that night?" Yeosang then asked, Taking Seonghwa by surprise as his eyes widened slightly. "If it is, Then-"

Seonghwa hoisted a hand in the air, As if the conversation had ended. Then, Very slowly, He moved the chair back and stood up, Every step he took towards him making Yeosang's heart throb in fear and take a step back.

"What had happened that night, Certainly has nothing to do with today. We only hooked up because you asked for it, Not because I wanted to, Kang."

In that exact moment, He was acquainted with an emotion that was almost impossible for him to feel. And when the gun shots, And the smoke clears - His eyes flew open upon the confirmation of his own theory.

Heartbreak.

Yeosang's shoulders fell, Mouth slightly parted and heart barely in his chest. Hearing the older say that, Made his body react in a way he never had before. And when Seonghwa looked so sure of his words, Punctuating each word with an inch forward until they were standing so close, He could practically feel the man's perfume spreading around the room. The way the black eyes seemed so persistent, So clear, And most importantly - No sign of regret... Yeosang surely had heard every word crystal clear.

"So, I was just a one-night stand, That's- That's okay..." Yeosang mumbled while hanging his head low, Trying to stop the tears from falling. He sucked in a sniffle, And wiped away one tear discreetly, Trying not to let the tears ruin his makeup. But it was useless - A tear coming after another, And he soon started sobbing silently while digging his nails into the palm of his hand to gain back his composure.

"-But maybe, You shouldn't have called me all those names if i was a one-time thing then."

And with that, Yeosang rushed out of the room with hands covering his face, More tears beginning to fall the farther he moved from the male. He was hectic for thinking he could've been something more to his boss, When in reality, All of his hopes were shattered just by a few words. The older's eyes followed him, Watching the disappearing back of Yeosang's black blazer as he ran away.

And Seonghwa was determined to let him go.

Yeosang had come to a halt - Letting his emotions get the best of him as he ran farther and farther away from the place he once called his dream job. Hair messy and lips curled upwards into a dissatisfied pout, He let himself relax on one of the benches by the river as he freshened his mind by looking at the heart-catching view of the shiny waves.

But Seonghwa's words had infested his mind, And the image of his cold eyes and icy tone as he spoke those heartbreaking words directly at his face made Yeosang believe he and Seonghwa could never go together.

Seonghwa just wanted to have fun, And didn't mean none of the the sweet words that had lured Yeosang into thinking he could actually ease his path to something.

And so, He did - Bringing up his knees to his chest and hugging them tightly as he leaned down and cried soundly. This is the first time someone's perspective had hurt him this much, And it was the guy Yeosang least expected to hear these things from.

He knew he was getting looks from the passbyers, But he didn't stop. And with each and every attempt to forget about the words he had been told to - They just get more visible and painful that he had to punch the corner of the woody bench, And it made a slight crack at the corner of it as half of his anger was taken out on the brown substance.

Hours passed, And he did not move an inch as he just sat there, Watching the front in silence as he let his mind talk for itself. He had cried enough, And couldn't possibly make out if it had gotten dark outside. He just needed personal space.

"Seonghwa..." Is the last thing he mumbles - Before sleep takeovers him, And his vision goes blank as he lets out soft snores.
