"Okay, you're doing good so far. Try again, this time without falling on your face mid-way, haha." I encouraged him.

"That was like one time!" he argued.

"Yeah, one times another four," I thought. I watched as Andy skated down the street with the most concentrated look on his face. He finally got his balance under control, somewhat, now all that was left was for him to get accustomed to distributing it properly on his board.

By now he had made it to the end of the street without face-planting and was heading back. I was casually sat on my board, "supervising" him as I'd like to call it. With every second that he got closer his smile grew bigger. He was almost at my end of the street, the only thing to worry about now would be if he could stop himself.

"Put your foot down before you smack into me, jerkface!" I said as he kept getting closer. As soon as he was a few feet away he made an "uh-oh" type face and looked at me. He stopped himself and as soon as he did he slowly acted as if he was falling. Literal, "slow motion" and then dropped himself onto me.

"Really, Andy?" I laughed.

"Whoops. Seems like I still can't handle balance. I guess you're gonna have to give me more lessons, huh?" he said as he unlocked his phone.

"Nice try." I said as I pushed him off of me and sat up.

"I just got a text from Liz. She says we've got a double date tonight at eight with her and her boyfriend. Dress nice, but casual. Hm." he said standing.

"Uh, no. I'd much rather just stay at home and watch tv, or something. Thanks for the offer though." I said as I got up.

"Let me get that," Andy said as he bent down. I looked to see what he was getting, which turned out to be my untied shoe that he was now tying. "Listen, when Liz says something, it gets done. If you don't go, you better believe she'll show at your place and drag you out. Whether you're dressed, or not."

"She doesn't know where I live." I smirked.

He said, all smuggly, that he'd tell her. I called him a traitor and he explained that he'd rather tell her than have her beat him up. If this chick is as serious as Andy makes her out to be I think I should go. At the same time though, he could be exaggerating massively.

"I'll think about it." I settled.

"Alright, I'll be around five before eight." he laughed.

- Later that night. -

I went by Andy's advice and got dressed for the.. friendly meetup. Not double date. I wore a cute floral print dress with some white vans. My hair was done in waves as per usual. As for makeup, black winged eyeliner and a pale pink lipstick. Casual, but fancy. At least, what I think is fancy. It was about 7:50pm, so Andy would be here soon. I decided I'd take advantage and made sure I had everything I'd need. Basically, my phone, money, and my house keys. I put it all in a small, crossbody purse.

Not long after, I heard a knock at the door. I looked in the mirror one last time to make sure everything was in order before I opened the door the reveal Andy in black skinny jeans, a white button up with a tie, and his signature leather jacket. No makeup was evident on his face and his hair was styled messily, but somehow neat.

"Wow, you look gorgeous." he smiled.

"You don't look too bad yourself." I answered.

"Well, now. I think I take my compliment back. I was expecting a 'Damn, Andy. You sure clean up nicely. You're looking hot.', but y'know." he laughed.

"Oh, sorry. Damn, Andy! You sure clean up nicely. You're looking hot. I don't know if I can contain myself. I might have to confess tonight." I exaggerated.
