It's 1:50pm. Only ten more minutes till Andy shows up to get me. I should've called in sick today. Fuck.

"I'm here! Hey Kim! Silver, you're officially off duty!" I heard the voice of Cassidy.

She came up next to me and greeted me with a hug. Cassidy pushed me aside with her hip and took over the register with a smile.

I walked to the back of the shop, removed and hung up my apron. I went over to the wall and slipped my ID through the scanner to sign out of work.

"See you on Monday, Silv!" said Kim.

"Yeah, have a nice weekend, Kim!" I replied.

I grabbed my penny board and walked outside, this time using the front entrance. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and checked the time.

"1:54pm." I sighed.

"Out a bit early, huh?" I heard Andy's voice. I looked up and there he was. Walking right up to me.

"Hey. I would've came in my car, but I'm stuck with a tour bus. Meaning we're gonna have to walk there. Sorry." he said with an apologetic look on his face.

Oh how I wanted to punch him square in the jaw. Damn him.

"It's cool. I've got my board with me so." I said, showing him my penny board.

"Oh, you're a skater?" he asked.

"Yeah." I said simply.

"Cool. Let's start our walk then?" he asked.

I nodded and got onto my board. I pushed off the ground softly so that Andy could keep up with me.

"So, my set isn't till a couple hours. In the meantime I thought we could check out a few of my friends sets. You down?" he asked.

"Yeah, it's cool. What're your friends' bands? Maybe I've heard of them." I said. I knew a few bands who were there. Still, it'd be nice to know a couple more.

"Let's see. There's my buddy, Kellin of Sleeping With Sirens. Austin in Of Mice And Men. Danny of Asking Alexandria. Ronnie in Falling In Reverse, and Bret of The Relapse Symphony. So, we've got a lot of bands to check out." he said.

"Actually, I already know of Sleeping With Sirens, Falling In Reverse, and The Relapse Symphony. " I said.

"Really? You seriously don't look like you'd like that music, but to each their own I guess. I thought you'd like One Direction or Justin Bieber." he laughed.

"Fuck no! I know what good music is!" I replied.

After Andy left I decided I'd listen to some of the bands he listened to, just to see what made him decide he wanted to be in one. I ended up liking a few songs, but the bands didn't stick. Then as time went on, all these new bands came up and they got my attention.

"Good! So then, we're gonna check out Of Mice And Men, and Asking Alexandria." he said. "They're somewhat harder than the bands you know. Give em a try though."

I nodded in response.

"Hey. Can I try out that board of yours?" he asked.

I looked at him, somewhat surprised. Andy never seemed like the type to skateboard or anything.

"Uh, sure." I said. I got off my board and watched Andy get on.

"You've gotta balance yourself evenly and then keep that balance while you ride." I said seeing as he was shaking and wiggling in every direction.

"See, that's gonna be hard. I can barely keep my balance on stage." he laughed.

Tell me about it. I remember when he broke his nose with a drum riser. Or when he shattered three ribs and displaced one.
