"Bzzzzz... Bzzzzz... Bzzzzz..."

Ugh. I know that sound. I turned over and smacked my phone in the hopes that it would shut up. I groaned and sat up in bed. Grabbing my phone, I looked at the time, 6:15am. Getting up this early sucks, but it pays.

I grabbed a black shirt with some black skinny jeans, towel, and other stuff that I don't want to mention. I went to the bathroom and started the shower while I undressed. When the water was cool enough I stepped in. I hate cold showers, but I need to wake myself up. I've gotta be alert today.

After I was dressed, I combed out my lavender colored hair and applied a small bit of eyeliner. I walked out of my room down the stairs to the kitchen where I put a piece of bread into the toaster to toast. Meanwhile, I grabbed my keys and ID off the coffee table, retrieved my phone from my bedside, and got my penny board that was leaned up against the wall.

"Ding!" went the toaster, alerting me that my toast was done. I put my keys, ID and phone into the pockets of my skinnies, leaving my board by the door, and went back to the kitchen to get my toast. I pulled the peanut butter from the fridge and applied some to my toast then returned it to it's place. I stood in my small living room and looked around, making sure I didn't forget anything.

Keys, ID, phone, toast, and board. I'm set. Sure that I hadn't forgotten anything I pulled my keys out of my pocket with my empty hand. I had to waddle outside because I held my penny board between my legs. I closed and locked the door behind me and put my keys back into my pocket. I dropped my penny board to the ground and hopped onto it.

My job is only like, four or five blocks down from my house which I can easily board my way over to in about five minutes or so. I began boarding my way down the street while eating my toast. I boarded past a stoplight busy with groggy early morning workers. Meaning to me, it's about 7:25am. I'll be at work by 7:30am, which gives me enough time to make myself some coffee.

I boarded by a lot of men and women who were sharply dressed in their suits. Meanwhile, here I am with my brightly colored hair contrasting against my dark attire. Not to mention my board. I continued making my way to work where I soon boarded into a small alley that led to the employee parking and the back door to Starbucks.

I kicked my board up from beneath my feet and caught it in my left hand, using my right to pull my ID out of my pocket and scan it. When it scanned the door unlocked and allowed me entrance. I slipped my ID back into my pocket and opened the door, walking in to the "behind the scenes" of Starbucks. I grabbed my uniform/apron and put it on.

"Hey, Silver. Just on time." said Kim, a coworker of mine.

"Always am." I replied with a slight laugh.

Ugh. I just got here, but I already want to leave. Every minute I spend stuck here means more chances of running in Andy. It's not like he'll recognize me. It's that I just deadass can't stand his face anymore. Every time I see it, Facebook, twitter, Instagram, TV, magazines, I just wanna claw his eyes out!

I sighed, and rubbed my temples. I just have to get through the day and then I can go home and relax.

"You're looking drained today, Silv. You okay?" asked Kim, slight worry visible on her face.

"Yeah, I'm just a bit on edge is all. Nothing to worry about." I replied. I continued to rub my temples in an attempt to ease my mind a bit.

"Look, you look stressed so just sit down and chill. I'll make you your morning coffee, trust me. I know how to do it, I've seen you do it plenty of times." she said.

"Thanks a lot, Kim." I said while sitting on a counter top.

She smiled at me and went on to make the coffee.
