Chapter Nine

Sophie's shirt in the media section!!

At seven on the dot, Jacob drove up and texted me to come outside.

I told Meloney and Rena, who insisted on helping me look perfect on this date , which to me is deffinetly an outing.

So Rena decided to straighten my hair and i pulled half of it back with a black clip , and Meloney made me wear the jeans that make my ass pop out , and i actually got to decide what shirt to wear which was one of my Victoria's Secret jersey shirts that said: Team Pink 86. It was my favorite and Rena said i was lucky the colors looked nice or else she wouldve made me change.

I walked out and got in his Range Rover, which i believe is his parents and he drove off.

"You look nice." He said through a smile.

I couldnt help the smile that spread across my lips.

"Thanks."

Then after about fifteen minutes of driving we arrived at GoKart USA.

I turned and faced him with my eyebrow raised.

"Go carting, really?" I asked with a smirk.

Jacob put the car in park then turned off the engine and faced me.

"Yes, Sophie go carting, is that a problem?" He asked with an amused look.

Well to be frank, i thought he would actually be cheesy and try to win me over but go carting? Seems legit... for now.

"No its actually great." I said.

After we got inside and paid we grabbed helmets and and went to the singles track.

I chose number 17 because its my favorite number and about to turn 17 and of course Jacob chose number 1 because of course he thinks hes the shit.

"Lets make a bet." Jacob suggested.

I quickly thought it over and nodded.

"If i win then I get to kiss you." He said with a smirk.

I jokingly placed my finger on my chin as i thought it over.

Well for some reason i really want to kiss him, i dont know why.

"Best two out of three though." I said.

His brown eyes lit up.

"I'm surprised your agreeing to this."

"Well thats only because i'm gunna beat you." I said with a smile.

"Also if i win we are only going to stay friends." I said.

Jacob raised an eyebrow.

"You don't really mean that." He said.

I kept my poker face on.

"Oh trust me I do." I said.

When really deep down inside he was right.

I tightened my hands in the steering wheel and my heart raced.

This was the tie breaker.

Race number three will determine the winner of this bet, Jacob and I will either remain friends or he will be getting his stupid kiss... which i secretly want.

"I see you shaking babe, scared?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes.

"Hell no, i know i'm going to kick you ass." I teased.

"We'll see." He said.

The countdown started and once the guy waved the flag i was gone.

I drove the car really fast and for one quick second i looked back and saw how far behind Jacob was.

I turned back around just in time to properly turn the cornner and smiled to myself.

Im so going to win this.

I was the checkered flag wave and i zoomed through to the finnish line.

I came to a screeching stop and i climbed out of the car and took off my helmet.

Jacob jumped out of his car but kept his helmet on.

Probably hiding the shame.

I marched up to him.

"Wow i would've thought you really wanted that kiss Jacob, guess you'll never know how soft my lips are... friend." I said while pushing my helmet into him and he grabbed it.

"I'm going to the restroom then when i get back we can share nachos but just as friends." I said then laughed at myself.

I reached the bathroom and looked in the mirror.

My hair was out since if i kept it in the clip it would've messed up, i reached for my clip out of my pocket and pulled it back again.

I put more baby lips on my lips and smiled.

Okay time for some nachos!

I opened the door and suprisingly found Jacob standing there.

He walked in, closed the door and locked it.

My heart began to race. I didnt know if i'm scared or excited.

He placed his hand on my chin and tilted me up so i could see him.

Damn his goregous eyes!

He put his thumb on my bottom lip and my eyes widened.

He chuckled.

"See i can totally read you Sophie." He said then bend down and kissed me.

Once his lips touched mine i seriously lost it, my head felt like it was spinning and i so badly wanted to wrap my arms around him.

After what felt like an eternity he broke away slowly with a stupid ass smirk on his lips.

"Good huh?" He asked.

For some reson i could feel my head nodding in agreement.

Then Jacob turned away and walked towards the door and unlocked it but he didnt open it.

"Too bad we cant do that again since we're just friends."

So they had there little "outting" and had a fun little bet but of course in the end Jacob still got his kiss, and claims that he (along with everyone else) can read Sophie and now hes starting to play around with her feelings so that maybe they can be more than friends. *wink* *wink*
