Chapter Eleven

Yaaaay an update !
*ALSO THIS COULD BE A BIT TRIGGERING, mentions of PTSD & possible rape*

I didn't know why but I woke up , in a cold sweat , I didn't fully understand until Meloney was at my side pushing my sweaty hair off my face.

"You screamed , Sophie oh my god, I didn't know what was going on !" She exclaimed.

I stared at her for a second and then my dream, well nightmare flooded back into my mind.

It was of that night , Sophmore year at that party . I didn't remember anything really that night, the only thing I remember is that I was helping Meloney find Brock and when she did , I was left alone ,then I blacked out and I was hungover and naked in a strangers bed, with no way how it happened.

I must have said that out loud cause Meloney froze in place.

Shit.

"Sophie , I'm sorry that happened, it's my fault , I shouldn't have left you , but I was so wrapped up in Brock , and i was hanging out with Paris and the others so I had that 'I don't give a fuck' attitude to care and-"

I put my finger to Meloney's mouth to shut her up.

"It's not ur fault Mel, honestly I'm not blaming you . It's my fault , I shouldn't have gotten trashed."

Meloney shook her head.

"No , fuck No!" She yelled.

At this rate she was gunna wake everyone up.

"I left you , I should've stayed with you , if I wasn't a bitch ..." She trailed off a bit

"If I was a bitch, you would be okay and you wouldn't have PTSD right now."

I looked down, I couldn't bare the thought of Mel blaming herself because of my dumbass.

"It's not, you were living your life, I should have looked after myself and not be so stupid- Mel listen!" I yelled as she shook her head no, tears streaming down her face now.

As I was about to talk there was a bang on the door.

"Girls please keep it down its , 3am." Penny said.

"Okay mom." Meloney managed.

But Penny isn't stupid and can notice when Meloney is upset.

"Honey open the door , what's wrong?"

Meloney shook her head , then realized her mom can't see her shaking her head.

So I shushed her and got up to open the door.

Penny stood with her hand on her forehead, like she was stressed.

"Soph, what's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing Penny, we were just watching a show and it got pretty emotional." I said.

She looked at me for a second, then looked in the room.

"Hunny, the tv isn't even on."

"We turned it off?" I said it more like a question, which was my first mistake.

Penny raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms.

"Okay Sophie, well whatever it was that was making you girls yell and cry , I'll find out , cause I know it wasn't a damn tv show." She said.

Penny then looked past me and into the room again.

"Meloney."

Meloney peeked out from the cover.

"keep it down." She said sternly.

Without waiting for Mel's response, she then turned around and left.

I tied my shoes before going downstairs to the kitchen to fill up my water bottle and when I walked in I didn't expect to see everyone sitting at the table in like a half circle facing me.

I looked straight at Meloney and she mouthed 'sorry' and I knew exactly what this was.

They were going to get me to talk about that night, and it was something I didn't want to discuss ever , after last night with Mel.

Angelic stood up.

"Soph, I want you to know that..."

And I stopped listening after that, I couldn't believe that they are doing this.

I shook my head.

"No!"

Angelic stopped talking and everyone went quiet.

"I don't want help, or sympathy, I have it under control and I don't want to talk about this ever again. " I said.

"Soph-"

"If y'all want to help, you can help by never speaking about it ever again, alright?" I said.

I didn't even wait for an answer, I just turned around and grabbed the keys, fuck jogging right now.

I needed to get OUT.

Damn Sophie does not wanna talk about this , but sooner or later down the line her PTSD is going to get worse and she will need help , but the question is ...will she ask or accept it ?

Ps idk when the next update will be , i might write a LOT over the weekend cuz I possibly might be without wifi so yeaa , just look out for that pretty soon.
