Prolouge

"On March 4th , Sophie DiMaggio scored the wining goal against the Roswell Hornets, our Lady Eagles now advance to 3-0. Go Eagles!"

"The lunch schedule for this week is..."

Then i just zoned out and turned to my best friend Meloney Hallowell.

"Nice job on that winning goal Soph." She praised.

I smiled and pushed the solid black headband back on my head to keep my honey blonde hair out of my face.

"Thanks Mel, it wasnt easy but im just glad we won." I said.

"Yeah, I heard there's soccer scouts already going to games." She said.

I shook my head.

"Oh Mel, I'm not even the best on the team."

Meloney raised an eyebrow.

"Oh c'mon Sophie, you're like the best , you've scored like half the goals in one game and your like so passionate about soccer, don't even try and deny it."

I'm not gunna lie, Meloney praising me on my soccer skills just blew up my ego. I tried to be modest about my soccer skills but of course with Meloney's words and durring soccer practice Coach York is always saying they should take soccer as serious as i do or do the drill the way Sophie does it.

"Okay, maybe i am good." I mumbled.

"Pssh, You're great Sophie." Brock Mendez said.

I gave him a look and Meloney turned behind her to kiss her boyfriend of a year on the cheek, then she faced me again.

"See Soph, even Brock says your great and he doesnt even understand soccer." She laughed.

"Whatever Mel, she must be since her name is always being said over the intercome." He shrugged.

"Well that is also true, but you should come see her play tomorrow with Angelic, Maxx and I." She said.

"See i would but i dont do double dates." He said while rubbin the back of his neck.

"Shut up, its not a double date Brock." Meloney said while turning to fully face him now.

I checked my phone.

One missed call : Mom

I shrugged and unlocked my phone.

Sophie : She called me again.

Angelic : Just keep ignoring her, If I were you I would just delete her number, thats what i did.

My eyes widened.

Wow she deleted mom from her contacts? That's brutal.

I know her lying to us about who our real dad was is an unforgivable act but she is still my mom, can't just keep ignoring her.

Sophie : Seems a little dramatic , don't you think?

She didn't respond right away so i figured i had pissed her off, its whatever i have more things to deal with anyways.

Number one on my list,

Get noticed by a scouting agent.
