I sighed for the fifth time in 10 minutes and picked up my phone. I was bored and all my friends were busy. I opened TikTok and started to scroll through my fyp. There wasn't really anything interesting until I saw a video from this random dude. (Pretend that you don't know who vinnie is lmao.)

I was completely baffled by the audacity that this boy would have to be this arrogant. I opened his profile and saw that his videos were all him hyping himself up and being conceited. If there was ever a time I needed to put someone in their place it was now. I set up my phone and duetted his video.

I rolled my eyes and set my phone down. I barely knew the guy but he already pissed me off. All of a sudden my phone went off. I picked it up and saw that I had a DM from vinnie.

Time skippp to a couple days later
Over the past couple of days Vinnie had been bickering back in forth in each other's comment sections but we never actually called each other out. Our arguments usually consisted of vinnie saying something out of pocket and I would put him in his place. But he had shut up for a couple of days so I could finally have a break from his shit. I was sitting on my couch watching Umbrella Academy when my phone started to blow up. I ignored it at first but it wouldn't stop. Sighing, I paused my show and picked up my phone. I usually didn't have notifications on for TikTok but I decided to leave them on for a bit. I had 99+ notifications from TikTok of people tagging me in one of Vinnie's videos. Now what could he be doing that involved me. I opened the TikTok and went to the video that everybody had been tagging me in.

time skip to 3 days later My usual banter with Vinnie had stopped and was now being replaced with him complimenting me. I had no idea why he was being so nice and honestly it scared me. I didn't trust him as far I could throw him. My phone buzzed and snapped me out of my thoughts. It was Vinnie and he had commented on one of my videos again. I read the message and immediately felt myself begin to smile. I couldn't believe I was smiling at my phone because of Vinnie. Of all people I would never expect myself to be smiling because of him. My phone buzzed again and I saw I had a DM from Vinnie.

I stared at my phone in complete shock. He had really just asked me on a date. And the weirdest part was that I was I wanted to say yes. So I did. And that kids is how I met your father.
