I scrolled through Instagram, looking at all the new moms with their adorable babies. I had extreme baby fever to the point it was all I could think about. I spent my time searching up baby names and looking at baby clothes. Whenever I went to any store I would go straight to the baby department and just spend all my time looking at the cute little clothes and toys and cribs. I was ready for a baby. Now I just need to get Vinnie on board.
"Baby, I'm home!" I sprung up out of bed and raced downstairs to go greet Vinnie. I met him at the front door as he was taking off his shoes and pulled him into a hug.
"Did you miss me?", he chuckled.
"I did miss you." I said burying my face into his chest.
"I didn't mean to be gone for long but the food took longer than expected." he said as pulled away from the hug to hand the bag to me. I took it from him and brought it to the kitchen while I prepared what I was gonna say to him.
"We need to talk Vinnie." I said as I placed the bag of food down and got plates.
"What's wrong y/n?" he said worriedly. I turned to him to see his brow furrowed as he tried to figure out what he could've done. I sighed and tried to gather the words I needed but I was struggling.
"We've been married for a while now Vinnie."
"Yea we have. Are you trying to tell me you want to get divorced?" he said in a panic.
"No no no. Nothing like that. I think that we should expand a bit."
"What do you mean expand? Like the house? Do you want to add a room or something." He really was clueless.
"No Vinnie. I want to grow our family." He still was completely clueless. "A baby. I want a baby Vinnie." Now that it had clicked he looked at me with an expression of pure joy. He ran over to me and spun me around in his arms before setting me down gently.
"I think that a baby would be the perfect addition to our family." He said beaming.
"I'm glad that we're in the same page." I said relieved. "I was worried that you didn't want a baby yet."
"I would love a baby. You know what let's go make one right now." He said. He lifted me up and threw me over his shoulder.
"But Vinnie the food!" I said giggling as he ran upstairs with me.
"We'll eat it later."
3 weeks later
I woke up for the third time that night and rushed to the bathroom to go throw up. Vinnie came in after realizing I had gotten up and began to tiredly rub my back. I continued to puke until finally there was nothing left inside of me. I exhaustedly leaned back against Vinnie who had been sitting behind me.
