(to set the scene you guys are all hanging out at the hype house)
i sigh for the 7th time within ten minutes. vinnie brought me to hang out with his friends but was ignoring me. i have nothing against him hanging out with his friends but i'm bored and want him to pay attention to me. suddenly it hit me! what makes vinnie pay (sometimes excessive) attention to me? other guys flirting with me! i quickly scan the room looking for someone who isn't doing anything and see liam.(made up name.) i make my way over to him and sit down.
"liam?"
"yea y/n." liam said distractedly, as he focused on his phone. i took a deep breath knowing that it could be tough getting him on board with this.
"i need you to help me with something." i whispered. his head whipped up from his phone as he looked at me in the eye stunned.
"i'm not helping you cheat on vinnie y/n." he hissed.
"i'm not going to cheat on vinnie dickhead. i just need your help making him jealous." i mumbled hitting him on the head.
"oh. well why would you want to do that?"
"so he'll pay attention to me."
"why don't you just ask him to?" as much as i love liam, he could be a bit dumb.
"becausee liam. that's not how it works. could you please just help me? i'll get you food." i pleaded. as soon as i mentioned food liam perked up.
"ok what do i have to do?" i grinned and told him exactly what he would have to do for my master plan to work.
*time skip*
*vinnie pov*
y/n and i have been hanging out with our friends for around 3 hours now and i've only just realized i haven't seen her in 2. i should probably go look for her so she doesn't think i'm ignoring her. i got up from my seat on the couch and told the boys i'd be right back. as i walked around i heard y/n's giggling coming from the kitchen. i walked into the kitchen expecting her to be laughing about something dumb on her phone but there she was all over liam. and liam was all over her.
*back to y/n pov*
as i laughed at some dumb joke liam said, i felt eyes bore into my skull. i turn around to see vinnie watching the two of us, clenching and unclenching his jaw. i looked him in the eye before turning back to liam and ignoring vinnie.
"so liam finish telling me about your trip to london."
"so i get off the plane and-"
"y/n. i need to talk to you." vinnie ordered, cutting liam off. i roll my eyes pretending to be annoyed at vinnie but really just rejoicing in the fact that my plan worked. vinnie grabbed my hand and dragged me out the kitchen. he pulled me over to the side as i ripped my hand from his grip.
"why the hell were you flirting with liam?" he demanded. i crossed my arms and rolled my eyes again.
"you should know vinnie."
"how would i know? i haven't seen you in like hours."
"yea you haven't seen me in hours. that's like the whole point vinnie." i huffed.
"that doesn't mean you flirt with other guys!"
"i was only flirting with him to get your attention! and if i'm being completely honest we weren't even actually flirting. i asked liam to pretend to flirt with me to make you jealous." i looked down to keep vinnie from seeing that i was on the verge of tears. he finally caught on and his anger melted away.
"y/n. baby i'm sorry for ignoring you." he pulled me into a hug as i buried my face into his chest.
"i love you vin."
"i love you more"
