*Claire POV
I rolled over in bed and poked Vinnie's cheek.
"Vinegar. Wake up. Wake up wake up wake up." I whispered.
He lips twitched as he tried to hold back a smile. I poked his bare chest. (Please ✋🏾😫 This sounds so bad. I'm just tryna provide some imagery.)
"Vinnie wake the fuck up before I slap you." I said. He immediately popped up, fake yawning, and stretching.
"Good morning baby. Happy anniversary."
"Happy anniversary bub." I replied. I leaned over giving him a small peck on the lips. (I just know they got morning breath.) He deepened the kiss and licked my bottom lip asking for permission. He slipped his tongue in(👁👅👁) and roamed my mouth. I gently tugged on his curls earning a soft groan from him. Ugh I love this man. I pulled away before anything else could happen. He frowned at me and tried to pull me back in. I giggled and rolled out of bed.
"Ughh baby. Why won't you make out with me?" He groaned.
"Cause we have to get ready for our date tonight. I was thinking we make a whole day out of it. You know go to the mall and stuff. Aren't you excited?" I said as I happily picked out my outfit.
"What do you mean? You never told me about doing stuff today. Dinner isn't until 7:00. I had plans today with the boys." (🤮 not the boys) He said as he got out of bed and walked over to me. He slipped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder.
"If you want you can come to the skatepark with us. I'm pretty sure Maddy is coming too." He offered.
"I didn't think that you were gonna have plans today. I just kinda assumed since it's our anniversary we would spend the whole day together." I said my mood immediately dropping. I didn't have anything against him hanging out with his friends. I was just expecting him to block out today for the two of us.
"Just because it's our anniversary doesn't mean we have to spend the whole day together Claire. We literally spend every fucking second together." He said starting to get pissed off. He let go of my waist and stood behind me. I turned around to look at him. He looked annoyed like I had done something wrong.
"Dude, calm down. It's whatever. You can go to the skate park. I'll just hang here. I don't know why you're getting mad tho." I said feeling defeated.
"I'm not mad. I'm just pissed. You're always doing this."
"Doing what?"
"Making me feel like I'm a terrible boyfriend every time I want to hang out with my friends. Every time I try to hang out with them you get all upset. It's fucking annoying." He stated, looking pissed with me.
"I don't get upset every time you want to hang out with your friends. I don't even know what you're talking. I was just saying that I wanted to hang out today but it's not that important. Can we just drop this?" I said. "I don't want to fight with you on our anniversary."
"Fine." He said. Then he whipped around and went into the bathroom slamming the door shut. I sighed. I don't get mad when he hangs out with his friends. Do I? I wracked my brain trying to think of a time I got mad. Maybe I'm just being too clingy. Whatever. I turned back around and pulled an outfit out of the closet.

Maddy eventually convinced me to come to the skatepark with her since she didn't want to be the only girl there. Vinnie was still kinda pissed at me but he's had time to calm down so he can't be that mad right? I plopped down on a patch of grass next to Maddy and just hung out with her. Like an hour later we got bored so we were play fighting and I was out here dodging her hits and I jumped out of the grass and onto the pavement of the skatepark thingie (idk what it's called lol). And Vinnie just so happened to be skating extremely fast in my direction. Fuck I thought.
"Claire get out the fucking way!" He shouted. I ran back over onto the grass just as Vinnie sped past and almost wiped out. He grabbed his board and walked over to me.
"Can you quit doing stupid shit?" He said. I was taken aback by his audacity.
"Can you fuck off?" I was not having any of his shit.
"You're such a bitch." He said under his breath as he started to walk away.
"What did you just say to me?" I said completely shocked by him.
"I said YOURE SUCH A BITCH!" He said getting in my face and raising his tone.
