Hello! This is just a notice about his particular fanfic. I will be trying to get into character with each of the Avengers and anyone else from the MCU, so if you are sensitive to language or themes, I will not be putting as much into these, but I am trying to stay in character. I don't swear, please don't think I do. Hope you enjoy, and if there is a problem, please send me a message. Thanks for reading!!! :)

I screamed, scrambling away from him, as he lunged forward.

"Would you like to contact back up?" Etat asked calmly.

"Yes!" I shrieked, kicking the man in the chin, and making a clumsy attempt at a run. I managed to get a few steps, before someone else cannoned into me. It was just a shopper, and an angry one at that. He began yelling at me as I regained my feet, and searched for an outlet to escape through.

"Back up is on it's way. Now, follow my directions." Etat instructed as I shoved through the mob towards the opposite end of the farmers market.

"It's because of you that I'm in this mess!" I snapped. "Why should I listen to you? You are an AI system."

"Because I might be the only one who can get you out of here alive. Turn left, now!" I did as I was told, thankful someone or something else was thinking through the situation for me. I cut through the middle of the market, and burst out on the other side, which was on the edge of town. "Just keep going straight, though you might want to pick up speed." Etat instructed. As angry as I was at Etat and whoever Tony was, I wasn't in the mood to be shot over a pair of glasses. This helped burst my sprint. . . for about thirty seconds, but I was already tired, worn out, and really needed a drink of water.

"Etat, tell your back up or whatever to hurry. I can't last much longer, and I need water." I gasped, slowing to a jog and looking back. The men were boarding an open jeep with what looking like a machine gun on the top of it.

"I will make sure refreshments are aboard your air craft." Etat replied as I began sprinting again.

"Never mind about water, they have an armed car!" I growled, stumbling over my aching feet.

"That is not good." Etat replied.

"Yeah, no kidding. Shut up or tell me something helpful." I snapped, pushing my job back to a run for another thirty seconds.

"Your back up is one minute away." Etat told me in his annoyingly calm voice.

"That might be one minute to late." I growled, listening to the jeep roaring up behind me. A bullet dug a hole in the ground by my ankle, and I screamed as little bits of rock dug into my leg. Behind me I could hear the machine gun going at full speed. Dirt was kicked up around me as the bullets missed, but I knew it was only so long until one hit it's mark. As I expected, one did. I was halfway down the dirt road, still stumbling like a moron when a shock of pain sent me rolling on the ground. A bullet had gone through my side, starting from my back, and making its way out my front. I lay in the dirt gasping, unable to cry, staring at the bloody bullet a few inches from my face. Etat had come off and lay in front of me. I could hear him talking to me, but wasn't able to understand what he was saying. Pain clouded my head as each breath I took was more painful that the last. The jeep came to an abrupt halt beside me, but I could barely see it. My vision was fuzzy, red, and fading fast. Whoever this Tony is, I hate him. I thought as the butt of a gun was hammered into the back of my head, and everything went black and lifeless.

Swearing. That was the first thing I heard when I began to recover. Someone was swearing in my ear, while two other people argued in the background. All of them were male voices as well, which wasn't comforting. My side felt numb, and I wasn't struggling to breath anymore.

"You still sent Etat to a child, Tony. She could have been killed!" A voice sighed, obviously tired of the argument.

"But she wasn't. Listen, Steve, we got Etat back, and her. Killed two birds with one stone." Another voice retorted. The man, who must be Steve, growled under his breath.

"Well she's waking up, so try not to scare her Tony." Said the man who was right beside me. This made me jump, which was painful. I carefully opened my eyes. A man with a long face and slicked back grey and black hair, with a short beard, was staring at me. He looked like a monk in blue robes and a red cape. I took a deep breath, which was painful, and I stopped. Two more men walked over. One had black hair and a grim face, the other was a blonde and he looked worried.

"Honestly smaller than I thought." The other black haired man said, pulling out a bag of freeze dried strawberries and began snacking. The blonde rolled his eyes.

"Tony, she's a child."

"Really, you think I didn't notice?" The other, apparently Tony, shot back. The blonde, I was guessing Steve, rolled his eyes.

"Will you two please shut the hell up? Her blood pressure is rising." Said the monk man next to me. Tony rolled his eyes at this and walked off. Steve took a chair on my other side and opened a book.

"Wh-where am I?" I gasped, looking at the monk man.

"Somewhere between your universe and ours. It's a bit of a long round trip, sorry about that." He replied sitting back and adjusting something on the stretcher, which allowed me to sit up.

"You k-kidnapped me?" I asked, looking around, finally able to see the ship I was on.

"Oh, I like to think of it as rescued you from danger, uh your welcome." Tony said turning from where he was facing the wall and pointing at me, sarcasm heavy in his voice. The man beside me took a deep breath to speak, but Tony cut him off. "No, listen, shut up Strange. Kid, we saved you, thanks to Etat's help."

"Etat's an AI system." I hissed, ignoring the returning pain in my side. "Why did you send him to me? Why were you tracking me." Tony rolled his eyes.

"I thought I told him to tell you. You're a very powerful person, we needed a tracker on you to make sure we got to you before anyone else did."

"So you're just trying to use me? I told Etat, I'm not powerful. If I was I probably wouldn't have gotten shot." Tony grinned and looked at the other two men.

"Clearly we're all crackheads." He laughed.

"Shut up Tony, please." Strange sighed.
