I suppose telling you of my adventures, exploring this alternate earth would bore you. What else could I do, till I had visited every continent and grown familiar with the way things worked in the new world. However, I still needed revenge. That is a story I will tell. For no one messes with me with out consequences.

Alexander Gram's POV

It had been about two months since the Blackheart had been released from Klaw's control, and now she had free reign to anything she wanted. Between her powers and Etat, the young girl was all over the world. Gram glanced at his five security guards that surrounded him. Ever since his raid on the Russian scientist's house, he had kept his guards close. He was a smart man, and knew the Blackheart would be hunting him. He knew that she knew, that he had been the one to kill Ian.

Gram took another sip of his coffee and looked up at the noon day sky. He should take more breaks like this. Trick his secretary into thinking he was in a business meeting, then spend a couple hours relaxing on the balcony outside of this office. One of his guards shifted uncomfortably.

"What is it Maximof?" He asked the young woman. Her eyes glowed red as she looked at him.

"She's here." She replied darkly. Ever since that one run in with the Blackheart, Gram had employed Scarlet Witch and the Hulk to be one of his five body guards. Two of the most powerful Avengers should surely be able to stop his demise. Everyone knew Wanda would have killed Thanos with her bare hands, had he not rained down fire on everyone. Bruce Banner glanced around.

"How do you know?" He asked, worriedly.

"I can feel it." Wanda replied, power gathering in her hands as his guards came to attention, guns facing out. The air went deadly cold and still, and the sun darkened as if a shadow had come between her and the world.

"Well," an eerie voice whispered in their ears. "It looks as if I'm expected. Do you have tea for me, Gram? I like it with sugar." A low chuckle vibrated around them. Gram spun around, knocking over his chair. Nothing but the dark entrance to his office. "Ahh, looking the wrong direction." Ash Blackheart's voice taunted him. Something cold slid down his neck and he whirled back around, facing the city. A few meters away from the balcony the air seemed to be torn in two, and a black crevice writhed with magic. Gram looked down. Black mist swirled around the buildings, reaching for the crevice with their groping tentacles. He looked back at the gateway in the air. A shadowy from was emerging. Now, in the shadowed daylight, Ash Blackheart was even more terrifying than when he'd first met her. The spikes on her outfit glinted and flashed their razor points at him. Under one arm, she carried the white and black flerken.

"Why are you here?" Wanda challenged her, her eyes glowing red. The cat leapt from the girl's arms, and landed on the balcony. Before anyone could stop it, it vanished into Gram's office building. Ash smiled, as her eyes became completely washed over with an onyx black sheen.

"Oh, I think you know. A life, for a life." The black magic swirled around her hands as the two women faced off.

Gram pressed the small emergency button that was on the inside of his wrist. Nothing happened. He pressed it again, harder. Still nothing. The button had gone dark. He looked up fearfully. Ash smirked at him.

"You didn't think I'd come unprepared, did you?" She asked as the cat leapt into her arms, wires handing from it's mouth.

"Plan B!" He shouted jumping up. His three guards with guns aimed and began to rapid fire on Ash. Bruce, who had transformed, scoped him up, and leapt off the balcony, Wanda right behind them. She was able to slow their fall. Gut wrenching screams sounded from behind, and the mangled body of one of his guards plummeted past them, and shattered on the ground far below. Gram looked behind them. Ash leapt off the balcony after them, not heeding the drop.

"Let go." Hulk grunted at Wanda. She nodded, and released them to free fall, then soared upward to take care of Ash, her hands glowing.

Scarlet Witch's POV

Wanda soared upward. She didn't want to hurt the girl, she was still a child. But she had to stop her from killing Gram. She brought her hands together, and blasted her with her energy.

"Why are you doing this?" She asked, as Ash was knocked back.

"He took everything from me." Ash snapped, regaining her control, and lashing back. The blow nearly threw Wanda from the sky. "I think you would understand." Her voice now edging on a purr. Wanda stopped her fall and shot back upward, bringing two lamp posts with her.

"This won't change anything." Wanda growled bringing one of the heavy posts around to bash Ash over the head. The girl flicked a hand, and the magic took the shape of a sword. Right before the pole hit her, she swiped up, slicing it in half. Wanda dropped to catch the beams, before they fell on any civilians, who were scattering like leaves. She needed back up, even in just a short amount of time, she knew her power wasn't enough. She pressed the small receiver in her ear. "Vision. I need you over here."

Gram's POV

The Hulk rushed along, carrying his load with ease as they hurried through the city.

"Put me down, buddy. We need to blend it." Gram breathed, glancing at all the people watching them. The Hulk stopped and set him down, before morphing back into Bruce. Gram handed him a T-shirt, and watched him struggle into it.

"That is honestly some crazy shit." Bruce gasped looking around anxiously, as he ran a hand through his hair. Gram nodded.

"Wanda will take care of her. If she needs help, for some reason, she'll call in the Vision." Gram replied, playing it cool. They had been walking while they talked, and Gram was beginning to notice how dirty the streets were. Bruce was leading him somewhere very low key. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a flash of white. They both turned. An orange tabby was cuddling up next to a black and white cat, who was almost asleep. "Bruce, do you think. . ." he turned, but Bruce Banner was gone. He looked back at the cats, panic beginning to shoot through him. He pulled out his cell to call Wanda, but the line was dead.

"Did you really think you could escape me?" The two cats came to attention, and Gram closed his eyes, knowing who was behind him.

"Why would you escape the only people trying to help you become your best?" Gram retorted, trying to buy time, in the hopes someone would find him.

"You mean force me into a weapon they can use at their disposal?" She corrected him, he could tell she was smirking, so he turned. The Blackheart hovered a couple inches off the ground, her hands close to her, but level with her chest, black magic swirling through her fingers. He couldn't speak. "I am quite willing to learn this power, but you killed the only person who actually knew what it was."

Gram swallowed. "There's no way we could talk this out?" He croaked as the shadows around him seemed to come to life and close in on him. The Blackheart chuckled. It was a low ominous sound that made the air feel bitterly cold.

"You had your chance to make peace." She looked at one of her hands, before focusing her black, snake like eyes on him. The ETAT glasses gave them a blue tint. "I used to read lots of superhero comics and stuff like that. In one of them, there was this special method they used for killing prisoners quite painfully as recompense for their crimes."

Gram knew where she was going, but couldn't speak before she finished. Black tendrils of magic were wrapping around him. They felt cold, almost slimy.

"Would you like to know how it goes?" Her eyes blazed as he was secured with magic. "You shall learn the process intimately."

The entire city of Manhattan seemed to jump as the bloody, hopeless screams of Alexander Gram shredded the silence.
