Sister love

I was shocked. Still standing there like a statue, staring with that weird stare. Like a statue. It's like in frozen when Anna gets frozen by her sister. Yes. That's how I looked like. I don't know why, I just stood there. As if it was the only thing I could do. Now, the stranger/my sister and mom were staring at me, as if we were a frozen Anna family.

Now, to be honest, it was kinda boring, so I decided to say something.

"She's my sister, right? I have a sister... And didn't ever know. Mom. What's wrong with you? You don't tell me the most important things I need to know. Like that dad is alive. And now I have a sibling. You didn't tell me those things. Why?" Yes, I admit it, I kinda said a long speech, and kinda acted like a mother. But that's just what I do when I don't want to be the only one crying. I waited until tears hit my mom. Then they hit me. Then the girl... Or stranger... Or should I call her sister? I decided I should call her by her name. If i knew what she was called.

"So... What's your name?" I asked while moving my first movement. Wiping my tears off.

"Mia... You?"

"Noel." She started to look happy. Well, she ruined my birthday. Or my mom did. I was confused. But then she said:

"You named her Noel? My suggestion? I thought you wanted to call her Kathy." And that answered why she was happy. And I was pretty happy mom didn't call me Kathy. Kathy Brown. Ew! Me and Kathy. Just... No. Thanks to Mia!

"I missed you." Mom said. I started to like Mia, and hate mom.

LATER THAT DAY

We wanted to go eat in a restaurant, and I would've loved to eat with a sister. But she felt uncomfortable. Which I understand... A lot.

In the car, on the way to the restaurant (my fav. Pizzeria), me and mom fought. AGAIN.

"Mom. I have a family I never knew about. WHY?! WHY, MOM?! WHY?! I NEED TO HAVE STUFF EXPLAINED BECAUSE ALL I UNDERSTAND RIGHT NOW, IS NOTHING. OK?! TELL ME!!"

"Look.. It's hard-"

"HARD TO WHAT?! YOU HATE ME, RIGHT?! AND I ALWAYS LOVED YOU... YOU HATE ME!!!"

"I DONT HATE YOU!!" She stomped her foot. And she was driving... Do you understand what had just happened? Car crash.

I woke up on a huge field. Just a grass field. That field we passed while driving. My leg was in pain, and my sight was blurry. I looked across the field. There was mom. I dragged my body close to her. And then my sight changed back to normal. The first thing I did was look at my leg because it hurted more than a broken leg. I looked. I looked away again. I couldn't look. My leg was twisted the wrong way. Which means if I lay on my back, my toes would touch the ground. It was soooo painful. Of course, I was crying all that time.

Anyways, I dragged my body close to my mom, and she was bloody all over. I wanted to see where the scars that are bleeding out blood are. I only found one. On her forehead.

Tears didn't come slowly this time. They came bursting out directly when I noticed mom's scar. Usually, they come slowly. But these were weird.

Minutes later, a car drove passed the field. They stopped, probably saw us. A woman stepped out of the car, and ran towards me. When she was by me, she said:

"Are you ok?"

"I think you can see that. Mom is bleeding out."

"But... Your leg."

"Exactly."

"How old are you?"

"Now fifteen."

"Oh. Is there anything I can do for you?"

"Call the ambulance please. I'm in pain. And mom could die. Please." The woman quickly checked her bag, probably for a phone. She got out a phone, and called the ambulance. I wanted to know Mia's number. But I didn't. Why is life so complicated?

"Do you have any sibling I should call?"

"Yeah... I don't have her number. I just met her." She probably thought I was crazy because of the car crash.

About half an hour later, there was the ambulance. They took me, and mom. They drove us to the hospital.

I then woke up In a hospital room, feeling way better, but I wasn't in the same room as mom. And what about Mia? I asked for the nurse. You know, rang these bell thingies.

"Is there a problem?" The nurse asked.

"I want my mom, and my sister."

"Your mom is in a comma. But if you tell us your sister's phone number, then we can get her."

"But I don't. I know my address. Please, can someone go there?" I wrote my address on a piece of paper, and gave it to her. "She must be waiting in there."

"Ok. Usually we wouldn't so this, but... Ok."

"And one more thing. Can you bring me to my mom's room?" She put me in a wheelchair, and I told her my mom's name. Then she brought me to her room.

When we were there, she told me:

"You're a special girl. I wish you luck."

"Thank you." I said, but regret that later, because I noticed it was weird to say 'thanks' when someone says you're special. I should have just smiled at her or something. But no, this is me.

I looked at mom. She was there lying on the bed, eyes closed. I stared at her, and after a while, noticed that that beeping of her heartbeat annoyed me. That was bad. Because my mom was dying, and it thought about what annoyed me, and what didn't. 'BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP' It was annoying... Until it made me cry: 'BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!'.
