"Oh yeah! Hayami, here are our friends!" Sakura announced, placing a hand on Hayami's back and gesturing to the people in front of her. The group of teenagers standing in front of Hayami either waved or nodded to her.

"We all wanted to see you fight first hand, sorry for intruding on your sparring match." A girl with two buns on the top of her head apologized on behalf of the group and reached out her hand to Hayami. "I'm Tenten, it's nice to meet you Hayami! I'm on a team with those two over there." After shaking hands, she motioned to two young men behind her. One of them was a boy with long brown hair and pupil-less, lavender eyes. The other was sporting a fitted green jumpsuit, orange-yellow leg warmers, and an intense bowl haircut.

"IT IS A PLEASURE, HAYAMI CHINOIKE!" The one in green yelled out, bumping Tenten out of the way and now standing only an inch away from Hayami. "I am Rock Lee, the handsome devil of the Hidden Leaf!" He had a fire burning in his eyes until Tenten grabbed the back of his shirt and tugged Lee backwards.

"Sorry about him." Tenten apologized as she continued to scold Lee for getting in her personal space.

"I'm Neji Hyuuga." The boy with lavender eyes nodded toward Hayami as he kept his arms crossed, attempting to ignore the antics of his teammates.

"It's nice to meet you guys." Hayami said, smiling brightly at the three who had just introduced themselves to her. Standing beside her, Naruto and Sakura felt a warmth at the scene of Hayami smiling back at all of their friends. Even though Sakura hadn't known Hayami for as long as Naruto had, she already knew that she wanted to be her comrade and teammate.

"I'm Sai. Are you Naruto's girlfriend?" A pale boy with short black hair, who happened to be also sporting a crop top said. The whole group was not necessarily surprised at Sai's blunt question but just very put off by it.

Naruto began to shake his fist at Sai and yell at him for being so blunt. "Don't listen to him Hayami, he has absolutely no concept of how to interact with people! He's crazy!" Naruto protested crossing his arms.

"Oh, uh, it's fine I guess. It's nice to meet you Sai." Hayami extended her arm toward Sai and the two shook hands.

"You are quite quick on your feet, especially when it comes to fighting with ninjutsu." Sai complimented the young woman. This positive statement about someone else coming from Sai's mouth caused numerous people to let their jaws drop.

"D-Did Sai just... COMPLIMENT HER?!" Naruto and Sakura screeched, ultimately baffled.

Hayami ignored the two banshees screaming beside her and continued to smile at Sai. "Thank you, that certainly is nice to hear. However, I can still improve. So I hope I get the chance to train and learn from you guys." She made eye contact with everyone in the small group and almost all of them had a slightly noticeable blush on their faces.

"Oh please, I'm looking forward to training with you! That'll be so much fun!" A blonde haired woman yelled out from amongst the group, quite excitedly.

After that out burst, they decided to get back to the introductions. "You already know me but these are my two teammates." Shikamaru said, hands in his pockets as he looked toward Ino and Choji.

"I'm Ino Yamanaka, you already met my dad yesterday but don't worry I'm a lot more personable than he is!" The blonde woman who spoke just a bit ago chimed in, introducing herself. She was wearing a purple ensemble and had her bangs resting over one of her light blue eyes.

'So her dad, is the one that made me relive the massacre last night... I suppose there isn't a reason to hold it against her. She didn't do anything wrong by me and she seems really nice...' Hayami contemplated, but on the outside she kept up her smile and nodded to Ino.
