"Hm, that's rough... I'll try to make a plan"

"You sure like plans"

Jin Ling was a terrible actor but Lan Xichen surprisingly believed in what he had said, which was great because that meant that Lan Xichen was desperate to get Jiang Cheng cured, It gives us hope that he will eventually start having feelings for Jiang Cheng!

After thinking for a while, Jin Ling couldn't think about anything that would make a great plan, so he just thought of the most cliche question.

"What do you think about my Uncle?"

"He is a very good person, I admire him."

"He is... don't get me wrong, I just asked because I wanted to be sure that you like him"

"Why wouldn't I like him? You are funny Jin Ling" Lan Xichen smiled at him, how could Jin Ling think he doesn't like Jiang Cheng? But this was surely a weird question, and to be asked all of a sudden really makes the situation weirder. But Lan Xichen decided to stay quiet, he found Jin Ling's weird actions funny.

Jin Ling was happy, maybe Lan Xichen would love Jiang Cheng way faster than he thought.

Jin Ling then remembered the clothes that Jiang Cheng asked him to pick up, then Jin Ling had the idea to tell Lan Xichen that he was busy with fairy and that if he could hand them over to Jiang Cheng it would be a big help. If Lan Xichen accepts, their friendship could get better. Jin Ling was still afraid though, he didn't want to disturb Lan Xichen.

"Do you want to go back to Gusu? It's getting late" Jin Ling asked

"Yes, we can't make them suspicious"

"Yes, of course."

The two organized the room back to how it looked and quickly went outside, when they looked at the sky it was already dark, so they took their swords and went straight to Gusu without saying anything else. When they arrived, they pretended to be talking about everyday things, until Jin Ling looked at Lan Xichen with a strange face.

"I... I forgot that today I should bathe fairy.."

"Don't worry, there's still time" Lan Xichen tried to calm him down.

"I would if I didn't have to give Jiang Cheng his robes!" Lan Xichen tried to think of some answer that would make the boy less agitated, the place where Jiang Cheng is staying is very far from where they are located, Jin Ling would take a long time to arrive.

"Well, how about I give it to him? I have nothing else to do" Jin Ling's face shined like the sun.

"B-but wouldn't that cause you a lot of trouble, Zewu-Jun?"

"Of course not" Jin Ling blinked twice and handed the robes to Lan Xichen who stared at the hairband again.

Jin Ling was shaking with happiness, his plan had worked! maybe he wasn't a bad actor after all. He was so happy that he never stopped thanking Lan Xichen for even a second.

"I think I should go now, Jiang Cheng goes to sleep around this time" Jin Ling was even happier, Lan Xichen had already memorized the schedule that Jiang Cheng sleeps in!

"Thank you so much again, Zewu-Jun!" Lan Xichen smiled at the little one and went after Jiang Cheng.

After a long walk Lan Xichen finally arrived at the place he desired, he looked at Jiang Cheng's window that was closed and smiled, he was happy to visit him, he really liked him. Walking up the stairs he arrived at the room and knocked at the door.

"Come in.."

He heard Jiang Cheng say in a quiet voice, he must be very tired, he usually isn't this calm. When he opened the door Jiang Cheng felt like he was running a marathon, his heart was racing, he didn't know why Lan Xichen was there so he just greeted him and waited for him to say something. Suddenly Jiang Cheng saw that Lan Xichen was holding his clothes, his clothes.. clothes... his... Jiang Cheng was about to faint.

"Jin Ling asked me to give you these" Lan Xichen gently put his clothes next to his bed, then gave a warm smile to him.

"I also want to talk to you" Lan Xichen sat on a table next to Jiang Cheng's bed.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"Nothing in particular, I just want to know if you are feeling better"

"Not much, but sometimes I get better all of a sudden"

"That's a good sign then! I tried to find something that looked like what you have in the library and I think that I might have discovered"

"really?" Jiang Cheng was scared and Lan Xichen was embarrassed, both trying to maintain a calm posture.

"I-i know that you didn't want me to know about it.. but I really want to help you"

They both looked at each other blushing, Jiang Cheng suddenly felt a bit better and Lan Xichen was red as a tomato.

"...do you have Hanahaki?"

"I hate to admit this.. but yeah"

Jiang Cheng got up from his bed and sat next to Lan Xichen, he didn't know what to do next, he just did that because he felt calmer next to him. Lan Xichen looked at him and hold his hand, It was so sudden that Jiang Cheng didn't know what to do next and let him hold his hand without saying anything. They both looked at each other for a long while, both lost in each other's eyes. Jiang Cheng understood the situation and moved his head to look at the ground to stop his blushing. Lan Xichen started to understand his feelings for Jiang Cheng and suddenly got scared of him not being the one Jiang Cheng liked, he didn't like to admit things this fast but after holding his hand he realized that this feeling was beyond anything he had ever felt before. Ever since he saw his hairband and got the feeling that he wanted to keep it for himself he realized that something was happening, he didn't like to think about it, but he still knew that it was something.

"I... this is embarrassing"

"It isn't!"

"It is... I hate how I feel, I hate feelings"

"Don't say that, please tell me what's keeping you sad"

"It's... that"

"What?"

"I like you" Jiang Cheng started crying. He was sad, depressed, everything. He hated to admit his feelings when they didn't make him feel powerful, saying this made him think he was nothing when he was actually completing himself.

"Oh" Lan Xichen looked mesmerized, he never thought something like this would ever happen to him. He always thought that his uncle would one day arrange a marriage for him and when they had a child he would just divorce and take care of the child, he never thought much about what he wanted for himself.

"I also like you, I love you" Jiang Cheng was shocked, he looked at Lan Xichen like this was the most unreal thing in the world, even though he felt suddenly better and one of the Lan Sect rules was not to lie he couldn't help himself but to not believe him.

"B-but we are literally opposites"

"We can be like Yin Yang, opposites that complete each other."

Jiang Cheng started laughing and looked at him with the most beautiful smile Lan Xichen had ever seen, he hugged him and both started laughing while crying. "Damn It.." he looked at him "I never thought this would happen to me haha.." he once again closed his eyes and let hugged Lan Xichen tightly.

"Lan Xichen, you are the only feeling I truly like"
