When Jiang Cheng opened his eyes he felt a sudden warmth in his back, when he looked to see what it was he saw Lan Xichen sleeping next to him with his hands holding him close. He didn't know how to react, he tried to look at the door and saw a locker, relieved that no one would open the door he tried going back to sleep. He didn't mind Lan Xichen hugging him.

When he closed his eyes he heard three knocks on the door, he didn't know who could be, maybe Jin Ling or Wei Wuxian, but this didn't matter, what mattered was that he needed to hide Lan Xichen quickly. He sat on the bed and then tried to wake him up, when Lan Xichen woke up Jiang Cheng whispered that someone was knocking on the door.

"What should I do?" Xichen was confused, the room wasn't big so he would need to fit himself in somewhere small. Jiang Cheng got up from the bed trying to make no sound, he opened the curtains but not completely because anyone could look to the place and see both of them there. He analyzed the place and realized that even though he spent a long time living there, he never looked around or cared about how the room looked, the only thing he ever noticed was the color of the room the first day he stayed.

After looking for some time, he realized there was a big wardrobe that would fit Lan Xichen perfectly, no one that entered his room before ever cared about that, even Jiang Cheng never noticed it, it was the perfect place.

"Go there!" He whispered to Lan Xichen pointing at the wardrobe.

He hummed a yes and quickly went inside it, when no sound could be heard from the wardrobe Jiang Cheng opened the door scared of who he would see. And there was Wei Wuxian, It was obvious that it would be him but Jiang Cheng still hoped for it to be someone else. After staring at him for a while he realized this was the best time to say to Wei Wuxian that he woke up and suddenly felt better, he would finally leave Gusu Lan.

"You've been staring at me for quite a while, what's up?"

"I got cured" Wei Wuxian looked at him in disbelief, pushing Jiang Cheng inside and closing the door. "What do you mean you got cured? You told him?"

"I woke up and I was suddenly better" Wei Wuxian was in more disbelief, how could he get better all of a sudden? Maybe he made the surgery and didn't tell him, but that was too unrealistic, surgeries there are horrible and even if he tried no one got better from one in just one night, surgeries are always dangerous, not to say that it was quite rare to survive from one and the pain was always unbearable. Jiang Cheng would never do something like this.

"But how? Didn't you tell me you weren't close anymore?"

"I also don't know, I've been questioning this since I woke up" Jiang Cheng looked at Wei Wuxian with a dark face, he was extremely nervous, Wei Wuxian wasn't a fool he was actually intelligent, Jiang Cheng never liked to admit that since it would always make him nervous around him, That man could notice everything. Even though most of the time didn't care, he was still intelligent.

Remembering Wei Wuxian's inner genius Jiang Cheng was found in a daze, if he didn't believe what he said then he would check his entire room to see if there was any Lan Xichen. This wasn't a small problem, this was a big problem.

'Wei Wuxian will definitely make a big announcement to everyone if he discovers' Jiang Cheng even had proof towards it! When he asked him to not tell anyone that he was sick he told Jin Ling and that adopted son of his, which doesn't even make sense since he never had any conversation with him.

"Since I'm good now, I will leav-"

"Wait a minute" Wei Wuxian stopped his words, getting close to the wardrobe that Lan Xichen was hiding in. "I've never seen this thing before"
