!Short mention of suicide and homophobia!

When Sirius awoke early the next morning, he quickly realised that everything had gone well that night. He wanted to get up but noticed that they were all cuddled up against each other.

Naked.

 Butt-naked.

He found everyone still fast asleep. James had his head on Peter's shoulder and Remus lay flat on his stomach with his legs over James' lap. However, curled into his side was Lyra. At some point, Sirius had wrapped his arm over Lyra's shoulder in an attempt to keep the girl warm. A blush crept onto his face when he realised that Lyra was probably naked as well. He could not see much as the girl was wrapped in his arms and he could not move an inch if he wished not to disturb her. Lyra's hair was completely dishevelled and he felt a piece of it tickling his nose. He scrunched his nose in an attempt to suppress a sneeze. His eyes started to water as he managed to push it away. The feeling of her bare skin against his gave Sirius a feeling of euphoria. He felt extremely comfortable in this position. If only they could stay like this forever.

Sirius felt Lyra shift and immediately closed his eyes. Lyra had lifted her head and rubbed her eyes. Sirius heard a soft gasp coming from Lyra.

Lyra had awoken, feeling abnormally cold and immeasurably comfortably. When she noticed her nakedness, she couldn't help but gasp. She noticed Sirius' arm wrapped around her shoulder and bit her lip. She grabbed his arm and gently guided it down.

"Goodmorning princess," Sirius said smugly in his raspy morning voice. "Slept well?"

"Fuck!" Lyra cussed under her breath. "I really hoped you were still sleeping."

She gathered her hair and put it over her shoulder.

Just like yesterday, Sirius had an immaculate view of Lyra's back. He noticed how bony she was. He could see her spine when she had leaned forward.

He placed his hands on Lyra's shoulder and gently guided her back. He felt her shiver slightly when he did that.

"What are you doing?" Lyra questioned him. "I have to get home."

"Just a few more minutes." He sighed. "I just want to hold someone."

Lyra mentally slapped herself for letting her thoughts wander. Sirius was her best friend and he was starved of physical affection at home. His parents did not hold him. His parents did not hug him when he was sad. He needed this.

That's when she felt Sirius gently rubbing her shoulders. Unintentionally, she let out a soft moan. She quickly covered her mouth. She had expected Sirius to start laughing, but he didn't.

"Don't worry so much," he breathed out. "Just relax for a bit."

Lyra closed her eyes and her head fell back against Sirius' chest. Sirius gently rubbed her shoulders and neck, trying to relieve the tension she held there. He felt her breathing slowing down and her muscles loosen up.

Very similar to Lyra, Sirius' mind began to wander. He imagined them in his room at Grimmauld Place instead of on the cold mushy forest floor. The other things he thought about were definitely not something he would be sharing with anyone soon.

They stayed like this for a couple of blissful minutes but knew they had to get a move on if they wanted Remus and Lyra to be back home on time.

Sirius sighed.

"We have to get going," Lyra uttered. "The sun has risen already."

She stood up but had to grab onto the tree they were seated against to steady herself as she felt a little dizzy. She stroked her hair to flatten it and took a few deep breaths.
