Ashton’s POV

“So what should I do to make sure that he comes back?” I ask Michael and Ethan who are sitting in front of me on the couch. I ring my hands nervously as I sit back on the coffee table, trying to push some of the hair out of my eyes. They know I’m nervous, shit it isn’t like it’s a big secret. But one way or another we have to get out of here.

“I think just whenever he tries to get another secret out of us you make another scene. Then when he comes in, maybe all of us hide so you’re the only one he can take?” Ethan suggests with an apologetic shrug. I know he feels bad for suggesting it, but then again I know he’s happy it’s me instead of him.

We continue talking for a few minutes, until I see Luke and Sahara come down. “Have you guys seen Harper?” Sahara asks all of us and I notice that she is looking anywhere but at me. We all shake our head no, we haven’t seen her since she came down a few minutes ago in tears, I didn’t need to ask to know what she was crying about. I was almost 100% sure it had something to do with the same reason Luke and Sahara are walking downstairs together right now.

“Wait…where is….oh shit….” Sahara continues and I look back up to see her watching all of us with a frantic expression. I look around the room and realize what she must realize, and as I look back at Luke’s wide eyes I know that he has put two and two together as well. Harper has disappeared with Mr. Winchester. I know she’s hurt right now, and it’s no secret that she has a little obsession with Mr. Winchester so it isn’t hard to figure out what she is trying to do at the moment. I just hope Mr. Winchester is strong enough to say no.

Sahara quickly runs down the rest of the stairs before making her way into the downstairs bedroom. I look back towards the two boys sitting on the couch, I don’t care about Sahara’s problems right now. I open my mouth about to speak more of the plan when I hear a throat clearing next to me. I glance up to see Luke staring down at me with wide, blue eyes.

“Hey mate, um can we um talk,” he asks quietly, shuffling from foot to foot as he waits for me to answer. I look back towards Mikey and Ethan, telling them that I will be back in just a minute before getting up and following Luke towards the kitchen.

“What is it? I’m kind of busy trying to save Calum and all of our asses,” I mutter, leaning against the counter and crossing my arms as I wait for whatever Luke is about to say. I know he is about to apologize and I just don’t care to hear it.

“Ash, mate I’m sorry. I didn’t mean for any of it to happen,” he starts. I hold my hand up to stop him. It’s not Luke’s fault. I mean yeah it is, but it’s also Sahara’s fault, I can’t be upset with Luke, just as I’m not upset with Sahara. Shit, Harper has enough anger to be upset for the both of us.

“You know, the only thing I have to say is how the hell could you do this to Harper? That girl was, well actually still is in love with you,” I say, my voice rising. Okay, maybe I am a little angry.

“I…I didn’t mean to. It just happened, I didn’t mean for it to happen. I loved Harper,” he states, his blue eyes feeling with water as his bottom lip trembles. He quickly bites it to keep me from knowing that he is about to cry. I always forget how much younger and more vulnerable Luke is than me until I see him completely lose it.

“Luke I’m not mad at you,” I sigh, “but like I said, it’s a pretty shitty thing to do to Harper and in case you haven’t figured it out yet she’s in there trying to get back at you by offering herself up to Mr. Winchester,” I say. Maybe I’ve exaggerated it a little bit, but Luke needs to realize what she is doing. The statement words though, Luke’s eyes go wide and his mouth opens in surprise as he realizes why Sahara was so freaked out when she noticed both Harper and Mr. Winchester were missing.
