Hey guys, quick note. I think I am going to start writing this story using just they/them pronouns. I really want to still be inclusive, however, writing he/she/they and working with the wording around it is just kind of killing me lol. If y'all really want it the way it was before, let me know and I will continue to use all pronouns, i'm just testing this to see if it works better for me. Thanks loves!

Y/N hummed along to a song as they moved around the apartment, cleaning up things as they went. With today being one of the few days Y/N has with only one lecture, they are enjoying the bit of time to themselves. Yeji and Jinyoung are both gone, Yeji for a lecture and Jinyoung to get groceries (which will most likely end in two extra bags of snacks that the trio don't need). Moving into the kitchen, Y/N begins to put up the dishes that were clean and wipe off the counters from the breakfast they had this morning. Right as the last area of the counter was clean, Jinyoung came barging in with multiple bags of groceries.

"I think I may have gotten a few too many things," he chuckles, sheepishly.

Y/N quickly set down the rag and moved to help Jinyoung. "We need to stop letting you shop unsupervised."

The two carefully set down the groceries on the counter before looking at each other.

"I think you need to get one of those child leash backpacks for me in the store," Jinyoung jokes. "I think I could rock the frog shaped one!"

"We already had to do that once when you kept running away from me and Yeji when you got drunk," Y/N points out with a laugh. "I'm sure it's around here somewhere. I think it was the zebra one though."

Jinyoung fakes a appalled look. "Um, no. I cannot be caught dead with my drunk backpack leash in a public place. I need the frog one for grocery stores and malls. I thought that would be obvious."

"Oh forgive me for not automatically thinking that Jinny," Y?N raises their hands in mock surrender.

Jinyoung smiles. "I forgive you this time, just don't make that mistake again."

"I promise I won't."

With that, the two move around the kitchen to put the food away, having to dance around each other in the relatively tight kitchen.

"Hey I have a question," Jinyoung states as the friends go to sit down after everything was put away. "Well actually I have two."

"Alright, fire away," Y/N hums.

"One, did you clean? and two, who are you dating?"

Y/N looks at him with wide, amused eyes. "Well one, yes I did. And two, way to change the subject."

"You didn't answer my question."

"I'm not going to tell you," Y/N claims. "I would like to keep my dating life private for now."

Jinyoung goes to open his mouth, but he is cut off. "And before you ask why, I know Yeji is going to ahve the same questions, and I would prefer to explain it only once. So how about we wait till she gets home."

"But she won't be home till later."

"I know."

"Oh you are so mean," Jinyoung pouts.

Y/N shrugs. "Yeah I know."

"And to think I bought you your favorite candy at the store, guess I'll have to bring it back," Jinyoung smirks.
