Wait......What?!!

Ema's Pov;

I just handed Midoriya the tray with the candy apples for Eri. My classes cafe was busy with our classmates and pro heroes brought in for additional security.
"Wow you guys are really busy, huh!"
"Yeah, Deku it's been like this since after your show but it's fun anyway let me know what Eri thinks of the apples we made. Oh and tell my dad to stop by here, too!"
"Yeah sure later, Ema!"
An hour later my Dad, Mirio, and Eri came in to our classes cafe. I went to join them as my time was done.
"Hey Dad, hi Mirio, and hello Eri. I'm done so I can hang out with you guys now."
We ordered our treats and just talked about nothing important. Mirio asked how it was with Japan's gifted agency. I couldn't really find the words to describe it, but he still seemed to understand. We laughed when Eri got powered sugar all over her face and dress. She was upset about getting dirty until I said,
"It's normal for you to get dirty your a kid Eri were supposed to be messy!"
She gave me the most dazzling smile I couldn't help but hug her to me and smile back. As we were leaving I could hear Mirio say I was going to be the best thing for Eri. When I felt someone hook my shoulders with their arm.
"Oh hey Shinso, what's up?"
"So you're really Mr Aizawa kid I wondered. But now seeing you guys together it's really hits. You know I've taken over parts of your training times with your Dad."
"Really that's awesome Shinso! I hope you get into the hero course."
"You're lucky I heard about you and the JGA. I didn't know that something like that existed, but it makes sense that something other than quirks would have happened, too. So I'll see you in class on Monday, later Aizawa!"
"Yeah see you Monday, later Shinso."
As I was walking back to the others Todoroki stopped me, also.
"Hello Ema, can I talk to you?"
"Sure what's up Todoroki?"
"Well you should call me Shōto, or maybe even Sho it's my nickname. Anyway I was wondering if we could talk sometime? Maybe tomorrow afternoon we can go to that coffee shop you like?"
"Yeah sure that sounds great should I meet you there or somewhere else?"
"I could pick you up and we could walk over together. Your apartment isn't far from the dorms. Is that okay?"
"Yeah, that's fine. I'll see you tomorrow then."
"Okay it's a date then."

Shota Aizawa Pov;

Wait.....what, did Todoroki just ask my daughter out! Nope it's not a real date. It can't be. She's just 14 and Todoroki knows that, he wouldn't ask her out right!
"Hey Ema did Todoroki ask you on a date?"
"Umm yeah Dad, is it okay if I go?"
Well I couldn't say no, but I really didn't want to say yes either. Instead I nodded, knowing I would say something I shouldn't. We left then dropping Eri off at the hospital she would be coming home in a week or so. We've changed apartments to the three bedroom so Eri has her own. Luckily the teacher housing had three bedrooms. Ema set up Eri's room with the bed and toys. She's even been picking her clothes and hanging them neatly in the closet. Just waiting for her sister to come home.

The following afternoon, I watched as my child left with my student. Who was her date for the afternoon! I watched from the window as they walked down the street. I was planning on following them to the coffee shop and just keeping an eye on them. I knew I was overreacting but this is my baby! Oh it'll probably be even worse when Eri starts dating.
"Hey Shooota! I'm here to keep you company until Ema gets home!"
"How did you know Hizashi?"
"Well Ema called Nemuri, and she knew you'd be freaking out about the date. So they asked me to come over and keep you away from the cafe. Let her be Shota he's a good kid."

Ema Aizawa's Pov;

I sat across from Shōto waiting for what he had to say. He seemed pretty nervous so I was wondering what this was about.
"Well what did you want to talk about Todo...... Shōto? My gift or something else?"
"Well yeah I want to talk about that, but not only that. I was wondering if you'd like to actually date me? I mean I understand if you're already dating Midoriya since you guys seem to always be together."
"Oh no Deku really likes Uraraka, he just hasn't worked up the courage to ask her out yet. I think I would very much enjoy going out with you and getting to know you."
When I answered his question he calmed down and we could actually enjoy ourselves. We finished our coffee and snacks, and took a walk. He hooked his fingers through mine holding my hand. That's when I saw some of my former classmates including Chuya.
"Well if it isn't little miss quirkless! Who this your boyfriend?"
He sneered at us.
"Dude that's Endeavor's kid! Shut up I don't wanna get my ass kicked by him."
"Yeah, Chuya your on your own I'm out!"
The look on his face was priceless, Shōto pulled me away not giving him a second thought.
"Let's go Ema, he's not worth it."
When I returned home from my date my Dad was waiting for us. It was so funny when he just kept staring at our joined hands. Shōto kissed my cheek and said goodbye.
"What dad?!"
"I think you're to young to date! But Nemuri, and Hizashi said that I should just leave it alone. I'm literally conflicted kid, you're my baby and he's almost two years older than you. Then I think of your mom and me, and how we knew at your age that we only wanted each other. So I'll be giving that boy the benefit of the doubt. I didn't know that you knew Todoroki that well, when did you two start talking?"
"Well we attend the same cram school so we'd have lunch together and dinner on the late nights. He'd walk me home on those nights, too. Dad he's really nice, but his father isn't. We stopped by his house to pick up something and Endeavor was destroying his workout room. He started to come after Shōto, and when he saw me he stormed out passed us."
He hugged me then and said he'd keep an eye on the situation.

That Monday at school I sat with Shōto at his lunch table. Iida, and Deku along with Uraraka, and Sui sat with us.
"Hey Ema are you and Todoroki going out?"
"Um yeah Sui we are."
"Damn icy hot got a girlfriend, didn't think you could with that uptight personality of yours!"
"Kachan don't be so rude."
Yeah Baku Bro don't be mean! You don't want to upset Ema especially if it gets back to Mr Aizawa or did you forget that he's her Dad."
"Yeah whatever!"
I watched as he walked away. Something seemed off with him, about us getting together. Did Bakugo like me ohhh, he likes Todoroki! I couldn't help smiling at Shōto. He then whispered to me.
"What's making you smile so much, Ema?"
"I think Bakugo likes you. Your like the only one who has a kinda nice nickname from him. Deku is damn nerd or f-ing nerd, Kirishima is shitty hair. Only the girls get off without nicknames. Well except Mina but she's apart of his group so...."
"Now that you say that he's stopped calling me half and half bastard. You might be onto something. Wait though I thought him and Kirishima were dating!"
We continued talking about it lowly so others didn't hear.

When school ended I found Bakugo walking back to the dorms alone.
"Hey Bakugo wait up!"
"Huh, why should I, Ema Aizawa?"
"Well I know that your upset because I'm dating Shōto."
He tried hiding his blush, a flush of color in his cheeks.
"I'm not, I just can't believe that half and half bastard got a girlfriend before me!"
"Yeah, no your not! Anyway have you ever noticed how Kirishima looks at you. I think if you did manage to ask Shōto out, and Kirishima heard about it he'd be just as upset about it as you are about us. Although he'd pretend to be happy for you guys. Anyway I thought you should know later Bakugo."
A few days later I saw Bakugo and Kirishima at our coffee shop. I was sitting with Shōto when they came in holding hands. When Shōto looked at them and my big smile.
"Did you do that?"
"Maybe? Why?"
"That's good I'm glad you did something."
He kissed my forehead, nose then my lips lightly.
"Just don't let this go to your head and try matchmaking others, okay?"
"Yeah, no I'm not trying it with anyone else! I knew they both liked each other but were afraid to say anything."
The bell over the door rang again telling everyone someone else entered the coffee shop. I was to busy kissing my boyfriend to realize that it was my Dad. I hear a throat clear. My Dad did that everytime me and Shōto were engaged in PDA. It didn't register at first until I heard his voice.
"What have I said about PDA children?"
I took a breath and waiting for my heart to stop pounding from the shock. Then I answered my Dad.
"Displays of affection should be kept private. But Dad we never have any privacy, your always watching us like a hawk! No like Hawks!"
I said talking about the number 2 hero and his feathers that he uses for rescues.
"I'm in no way like that overgrown Chicken boy!"
"Could've fooled me, with the way you watch us when were together Dad! Aunt Nemuri's been running interference for us!"
My phone gave a alert letting me know I had a message from Nemuri. 'Hey kid I've lost your Dad he's probably on his way to you if not already there sorry love ya!' I wrote a quick text back letting her know he was at the coffee shop with us. I would be glad when Eri came home he'd be focused on her instead of us!

A week later and Eri was home she loved everything. Dad was working on Hero work with Mirai. Midoriya, and Mirio came to visit Eri. Ever the helpful babysitters except that Dad would constantly put me and Shōto as the babysitters on duty. At least until Uncle Hizashi and Aunt Nemuri put a stop to it. Allowing the others to spend time with Eri.
"I didn't think we'd ever get time alone together Ema."
"Hey look it's Endeavor's chick! What's up little Sho! Who's this?"
"Oh hello Hawks this is Ema Aizawa."
"Hello Hawks we've met once, although I think Endeavor was in a foul mood so we didn't stay long!"
"Aizawa, any relation to EraserHead?"
"Umm yeah I'm his daughter. Anyway we should be off date night and all."
"Whoa ho! Does Endeavor know you two are dating?"
"Yeah he does he was actually happy about it. Which is surprising in itself. Were waiting for the other shoe to drop."
"Sho don't look for trouble, we need to stay optimistic about him! At least I hope we can."
Both he and Hawks didn't look so hopeful though and I didn't want to have to explain to my Dad if Endeavor approached him with a marriage of convenience! I'm guessing Sho didn't want to either. As we left Sho was searching us for what I didn't know. Until he pulled two red feathers from us and put them in the nearest trash can.
"He can follow us knowing our every move, he could probably hear our conversation, too. He's always around my father so I've learned what his quirk can do. So every time he's around I search for his feathers."
I kissed his lips lightly and pulled him towards the amusement park. Our date for the day I had said I wanted to ride with him on an old fashioned ferris wheel. He spent days looking for this one. I couldn't wait to ride it.
