Time to Decide

Two weeks later

Ema's Pov;

Dad wanted me to decide if I would stay at my middle school, or be promoted and attend UA.
It would be easier to go to UA. It would also be easy to stay at my middle school, and continue pretending to be quirkless. I was so confused I just wished my Dad would decide for me like when I was little. I told him I'd have a decision after the UA sports festival. Which was today! I sat in the sound booth with Dad and Uncle Present Mic aka Hizashi listening to the commentary on the games so far Midoriya, Todoroki, and that bomb kid were in the top scoring. My Dad's elbow was still messed up from the one guy that got away. I touched my Dad's shoulder to get his attention.
"Can I go look around for awhile?"
"Sure just be careful okay?"
"Okay Dad!"
As I left I heard Hizashi ask,
"Has she decided yet?"
And my Dad answered,
"No! Not yet."
Seems like everyone is waiting on my decision. So I began to wander around looking at the different heroes gathered here. Security was tight after the whole USJ incident. No one knew exactly what happened. Just the students that were around at the time Midoriya, Todoroki, the frog girl, the boy with the purple balls on his head, my Dad, and All Might. Since he was the first one on the scene he saw what I was doing. When my power deactivate and the bird guy stayed a guy. Those closest saw the extent of my gift! Even those two villains that got away! Dad was worrying about me. Wondering if those villains would target me. Because I could completely erase someones quirk. Making them quirkless in a moment. It wasn't that simple though. My power had to be active for my blood to end someones quirk or gift. And I had a very clear view of what's wrong and right. Even if someone took my blood, and I was actively using my gift it still wouldn't work! It had to be freely given from me, by me! So even if they did come after me they were in for a rude awaking! I couldn't and wouldn't be used! I heard the end of the calvary battle. They were moving onto the games. After a few changes and Aunt Nemuri being hella weird! I see members of Dad's class and they all run up to me wow! I'm introduced to everyone. When I feel a hand grab mine.
I look up to see Todoroki pulling me away from the others
"I asked my father about powers like yours and he's never heard of anything like that before! So why are they so different from normal quirks?"
"Because it's not a quirk! Didn't my father tell you anything about it?"
"No! Nothing, he said it be best if I forget everything I saw. That pretending that I knew nothing would protect you."
"I'll explain it, but not here. I maybe attending UA in general studies. I haven't decided yet. I wish I knew what the best decision was! If you'd like your more then welcome to come over to my place and I can explain there. You better go get ready your fighting soon right?"
"Yes! We're also being scouted by hero agencies. I have something to do before that give me your address and I'll stop by."
"I live in the teacher housing with my father. You should know where that is right?"
"Yes I do. Well see you later then!"
He seems so grown up, and he's just a little over a year ahead of me! What did Endeavor do to him? Well I better go watch the battles. Most of the lower matchups have happened already the boy who introduced himself as Tenya Iida wasn't paying attention and bumped into me a bit. I overheard a little of his conversation. His brother a pro-hero was injured. Wow poor Iida, I hope everything is all right! So Midoriya beat that mind control guy by breaking his fingers again and was now fighting Todoroki. Whoa what's Midoriya trying to do! He wants Todoroki to use his fire side is he nuts! Oh there's Endeavor! Really, he's going on about his son joining him. What a creeper. I can see why he will never be the top hero unless something happens to All Might. I see Midoriya come out to the stands after his loss and sat next to me.
"Epic loss Midoriya!"
"Thanks Aizawa."
"You can call me Ema. Aizawa is my Dad!"
"Thanks that's great you can call me Deku. So are you okay after everything?"
"I'm fine. Just having a hard time deciding on things."
"Oh yeah, your Dad said to forget about what we saw. He said it was to protect you. He also said not to tell anyone about it. Is your power really that different from his?"
When he asked me this I leaned in a spoke in a low whisper.
"My power isn't a quirk Deku I'm something else. We were once called the Gifted most of the ones like me keep their gifts hidden. Because we're really powerful and stronger than any quirk could ever be."
"Oh okay well that's different is that why Eraserhead is so protective?"
"Pretty much. My Mom was killed by people who wanted to use her as and control me. That's why it's just me and my Dad. Oh here's Todoroki and bomb kid."
"His name is Katsuki Bakugo I went all through school with him I still call him Kachan."
"Really he's such a hothead. I'm guessing that your nickname is from him too!"
"Yeah! But I wanted to change it and make it into a hero name!"
Oh wow that Bakugo kid has a really bad temper! Aunt Nemuri had to knock him out. He was royally pissed about winning. Why!
"Why's he so mad Deku? He won."
"Well knowing Kachan, he's probably mad because Todoroki didn't go all out on him. He feels slighted because of that, and well as you see he has quite a temper."
"You are pretty quick to analyze people, aren't you Deku? I'm guessing you are a bit of a fanboy aren't you?"
"Umm yeah I am just a bit, but it's been helpful in planning a strategy for these games."
"That's pretty cool Deku!...... Wait you call Bakugo, Kachan isn't that like a baby name it means cute right."
"Well yeah it's from when we were in primary school. So I just kept using it."
