Ema's Pov;

So we explained to Mirai that my gift wasn't just turning peoples quirks and gifts off, like light bulbs! We talked about my blood gift and the ability to completely erase someone powers. I was terrified he wouldn't understand why no one knew. Not even the JGA, we kept it from them. My dad saying it's a gift not a weapon, and they would want to weaponize it in some way. But I felt a hand on top of my head and he said,
"Your father is right! They would want to use you. I know your father doesn't want that and I don't either. It's best if you keep it a secret for now at least."

That afternoon I was walking to Sir Nighteye's agency. We were having dinner together tonight as an early birthday gift. He's become a uncle like figure in my life. When my Dad was working, and Hizashi or Nemuri were busy I'd spend time with him. Eventually I found that he was Dad's goto over my aunt and uncle. Who he felt corrupted me with music, video games, clothes and coffee. When I entered I heard everyone shout,
"Happy birthday Ema!"
I saw my Dad, Mirio, Izuku, Ochaca, Ilda, Tokoyami, Kaminari, and even Todoroki from Dad's class as well as Bubble Girl (for the life of me I couldn't remember if she told me her real name!) Also there was Aunt Nemuri and Uncle Hizashi. Mirai, or Sir Nighteye stood behind everyone. I walked over hugged my Dad and him in turn. He had to knell a little as I am so much shorter than him. I whispered in his ear
"I know you planned this. Dad wouldn't think of anything so big or inviting so many other people."
"Actually Mirio and Midoriya gave me the idea. They were planning on a karaoke party at one of the places nearby. Mirio said that you didn't have a party for your birthday, not one ever. So I figured you should have at least one for the memories."
"Thank you uncle Mirai, for this."
"You honor me claiming me as your family thank you, my beautiful niece. You are also most welcome. Now how about we get something to eat."
I nodded, and we joined the party.

The party lasted well into the night, I fell asleep on one of the sofas in Mirai's office. The students had left awhile ago, but Dad, Uncle Hizashi, and Aunt Nemuri were talking about how the weird guy in the old-fashioned plague mask was using the little girl to undo, and supercharge quirks. I was in that odd state of sleep where you can hear everything going on around you. When they were done talking, I felt Dad pick me up. Suddenly I wake up in the car just as my Dad was parking in his spot.
"We're home already?"
"Hey kid. Yeah we're home!"

Aizawa's Pov;

I watched as Ema went upstairs, to our apartment. She took a quick shower and grabbed her blanket and headed to the porch. I joined her, and she leaned her head on my shoulder, like every birthday before. She told her mother about her birthday, spending time with Mirai, the JGA, and giving her mother a window into her life. I waited, until she was asleep, and carried her to bed. I couldn't believe she was fourteen already. They've asked me if I would take custody of Eri. The little girl spiked a fever and fell into a coma like state. I don't know how Ema, would feel about having the girl around. I would sleep on it talk to her in the morning.

***That morning***

"Morning Dad, aren't we going to be late for school today?"
"Yeah about that we need to talk. You remember the little girl from a few weeks ago."
"Yeah Eri, right?"
"Yeah her, they would like me to take custody of her. So she'd become apart of our family."
"Well I think that might be a good idea, Dad she needs you. I wish you could of seen how she was shaking in Deku's arms. Dad you could tell she was terrified!"
"Well once the doctors clear her she'll be coming to live with us. So next week perhaps."
I watched as Ema nodded. I also explained how we were going to the hospital to meet Eri. It would allow Ema to get the know her.
"What about school, Dad?"
"Since most of the hero course and hero support courses are out this week doing provisional licensing training. You'll be spending the week at home like the rest of general studies students. This was always used as break for the hero course teaching staff. Remember kid while you were in class, and working with the JGA, the others have moved ahead and gotten provisional licenses. You are all moving forward at a breakneck pace, kid! Just don't grow up too fast on your old man, okay!"
I watched as she rushed me, hugging tightly.
"I'm trying not to Dad, I swear! But time is really getting away from me."
I told Ema to go get ready as we were meeting Eri today. She was ready in record time it was the first in awhile she's been that fast in doing something. We drove in silence to the hospital. As we entered I was watching my child to see how they responded to each other I noticed that Mirio and the problem child were in Eri's room.
"Hi you helped save me, too! Are you a hero, too?"
"Sort of, but I'm a special kind of hero that comes from a long time ago. It's how I was able to help you because I could tell that he wasn't very nice to you. How would you like to be my sister? Because I think you'd be an amazing younger sister!"
"I'd be your sister? I don't know how to be a sister, and what about my quirk it can hurt you!"
"Well me and my Dad can turn off your quirk, so if you lose control we turn it off and give you some time to calm down..........Hey I'm going to step out and talk with my Dad and Deku and Lemillon. I'll be back in just a minute okay?"
"Yeah okay."
I heard Ema as she stepped into the hallway with us. They boys wanted to allow Eri to attend the UA's school festival.
"We're having a school festival Dad?"
I nodded thinking about what needed to happen to allow Eri to attend.
"Her doctors must clear it, if they do she can attend with you Mirio as long as you stay close with Ema while you are with Eri."
"Yes of course Sir, I can do that. Can we tell her about the festival then?"
"Let's me check with her doctors and then we'll tell her."
I left the kids for a few minutes speaking with Eri's doctors. They cleared her to attend the festival and said it should be fine that her horn is the source of her quirk and it was so small she didn't have full use of her quirk at this time. They did recommend that we should be back at the hospital in the evening. They were hopeful that she could come home by the end of the month. I returned to the children and spoke,
"The doctors have given their okay she can attend the festival."
I watched as they told Eri about the school festival, that she would be able to come. What they have in food and treats she seemed excited about it and really tried to smile for them. We left awhile later Ema telling Eri she couldn't wait to be her big sister.

Tomura Shigaraki Pov;

I was planning to take EraserHead's daughter her quirk was something that could be used against our enemies.
"Kurogiri, is there anyway we can get his daughter?"
"I don't believe there is anyway to convince the child of a hero, especially EraserHead's child to join the league of villains. She would have to be kidnapped the old fashioned way. Considering our quirks are useless around her. Then what happens if the heroes come for her we'll be defenseless against them. I don't believe this is a viable strategy, Tomura Shigaraki!"
Perhaps Kurogiri was right going after a heroes kid wouldn't be a good idea. Looking at how many we lost taking the boy from the training camp. I would definitely think of something else. I just couldn't figure out what yet!

Ema's Pov;

Everyday after festival prep work with my class, I'd go to the hospital and spend time with Eri. I told her my class was doing a cafe with sweets and simple drinks that everyone would enjoy. Except today Deku asked me if we'd be making candied apples, as he promised Eri one. I told him that my class was going super simple and easy so we could serve more people. But I would help him make one for her if he wanted to! So today we stood in my kitchen making candied apples. Some of the candy came out to dark or not dark enough.
"We can give the rejects to Sato he'll be very happy to receive them as sweets can be quite expensive."
We finally got a perfect batch for her, they were the right color and everything! I was so excited to see how she responded to them. When we finished it was decided, I'd keep them in my classroom, on the day of the festival! So we'd have them there ready for Eri. Me and Izuku were watching TV in the living room, while studying for English.
"Studying and TV doesn't really go together children."
I laughed out loud when Izuku jumped up in surprised shock when my Dad turned up.
"Oh, Mr Aizawa I'm sorry I didn't think I shouldn't have been....."
"Calm down Izuku, Dad's just messing with you! I rarely have friends over so he's picking on you. And Dad please stop! This is why none of my friends want to come here."
My father looked upset at my statement, he didn't know about that. I had never said anything about it before. He ordered dinner for us that night inviting Izuku to stay for dinner. After he left to return to the dorms, my Dad sat next to me on the sofa.
"So your friends don't come here because of me, sweetheart?"
"Well it's because you're a teacher and a hero, so they don't want to get me in trouble. So whenever plans were made it was always at someone else's house. Just in case someone did something not so legal or age appropriate."
He knew I meant underage drinking or sexual encounters.
"I wouldn't worry about it though Dad, I didn't go to those parties. Yuma was there and I was afraid he would do something. Like drugging my drink and taking advantage of me. So I always turned them down if Yuma was there."
I knew he was angry, that he didn't see it! That Yuma was a bad guy, and working with the league of villains.
"I'm sorry kid I should of protected you better."
"You do Dad, you really do. Because of you I saw that he wasn't good, and I kept a watchful eye on his actions."
We watched TV my Dad was quiet, I knew he was still thinking about it. Still holding on to that little bit of anger. Oh well, hopefully it'll die soon enough, but this was my Dad so we'll just have to see. Tomorrow was the school festival so I went to bed early, excited for the next day.
