(Izuku is now 8)

After enduring four long years of relentless torment, rigorous training, and unyielding exercise, my emotions seemed to slowly slip away. The constant struggle had numbed my feelings, leaving me somewhat detached from the world around me. Despite this, I knew deep down that even in the face of harsh realities, we all have feelings that should never be entirely extinguished.

My mother's methods, though severe, had some unforeseen consequences. The trials she put me through, while painful, granted me unexpected benefits. Thanks to her, I acquired an advanced intellect, surpassing my age and achieving the knowledge of a third-year high school student. Additionally, my body had been honed to impressive strength, allowing me to lift weights that I could have never imagined before. As odd as it may seem, I found a sense of gratitude for these results because they represented the resilience and determination that I had developed along this arduous journey.

Nevertheless, amidst this transformation, I couldn't ignore the secrets I harboured within. Despite the harsh circumstances, there was a revelation that I kept concealed from everyone—I had a quirk. I first discovered this hidden power when I was just six years old.

Flashback

Today was especially tough as my mother gave me a beating for missing an online lesson and taking an apple from the fridge. It seemed like no matter what I did, trouble followed me, making each day a struggle to get through.

Later, as I was on my way back from grocery shopping, I stumbled upon a chaotic scene—a villain attack with a crowd gathered around it. The stress and tension from witnessing the commotion triggered a strange sensation in my body. My whole being tingled, and a migraine began to gnaw at my head. Amidst the chaos, I witnessed Kamui Wood and the debuting hero Mt. Lady working together to subdue the villain. With the confrontation over, I decided it was best to head home to avoid any more trouble. Upon arriving, I found my mother passed out drunk on the couch, the stench of alcohol and vomit filling the room. I quietly put away the groceries and retreated to my room to engage in more training, my only escape from the harsh realities of my life.

As I reached for my weights, a strange and unexpected phenomenon occurred—green wood sprouted from my fingers, reminiscent of Kamui Wood's quirk. My heart raced as I realized something extraordinary was happening. Other unexplainable occurrences followed, leading to an explosion from my palm. It hit me like a lightning bolt, the realization that I seemed to have acquired Kacchan's quirk. But that wasn't all; it felt as if I had somehow copied multiple quirks during the fight.

Confusion clouded my mind, trying to make sense of what had just transpired. Had I really absorbed the abilities of those heroes during the battle? But then a counter-argument formed—how could the heroes continue to use their quirks if I had stolen them? The puzzle seemed impossible to solve at first.

Yet, one lingering thought stood out: despite the intensity of the situation, my migraine had inexplicably vanished. It left me puzzled, wondering why the pain had subsided when all of this chaos was happening.

As I tried to make sense of the newfound powers and the mysteries surrounding them, my mind raced with questions and uncertainties. But amidst the confusion, a glimmer of hope surfaced. Perhaps, just maybe, these abilities could be the key to changing my life, turning it into something different—something better. But for now, I needed to keep my discoveries hidden, not just from my mother but from the world, as I grappled with the profound implications of what I had become.

Back to present

That's how I discovered my quirk. Over the years, I've learned more about it. When I sleep, I can see all the quirks I've copied. And I've also found that I can merge these quirks to create entirely new ones. I diligently recorded everything in my hero analysis books to keep track of my progress.

Name: Izuku Midoriya

Quirk: Copycat

Ability Description: The user possesses the unique capability to copy the quirk of anyone they observe and can access and use these copied quirks at will. Additionally, during sleep, they can merge and analyze the quirks they have acquired. Notably, the user is immune to any drawbacks associated with the copied quirks.

Drawbacks: If the user looks at more than 100 people, they experience a severe migraine, lasting approximately 5 minutes (though due to Izuku's acquired regeneration and healing quirk, the duration is shortened). As the user practices with the copied quirks, the number of people they can copy will increase, but the intensity of the migraines will escalate accordingly. When blindfolded, the user is unable to steal quirks from others. It is essential to note that copying a mutant quirk does not lead to the user transforming into a mutant; they only gain access to the specific abilities of the copied quirk.

---------------------------------------------------

Time passed, and Izuku's training allowed him to master the ability to copy up to 100 quirks. The overwhelming pain of migraines drove him to wear a blindfold, leading people to believe he was blind. But in truth, he had copied a bat mutant-type quirk that granted him the ability to sense the world through small, unnoticeable sound waves, helping him navigate and perceive his surroundings.

Living with this newfound skill, Izuku managed to keep his secret safe until a discovery shook his world. Two months later, his mother tasked him with cleaning the attic, demanding he complete the task without coughing or leaving until it was finished. Determined, he pushed through the dust-filled air, suppressing the urge to cough.

While cleaning, Izuku stumbled upon a hidden box concealed beneath old clothing and curtains, labeled "Hisashi Midoriya - do not open" in bold letters. Seeing his father's name on the box, a mix of emotions washed over him. Intrigued, he opened it, only to regret his decision instantly as he uncovered the contents.

His suspicions confirmed, he meticulously documented the newfound information in his analysis book.

Name: Hisashi Midoriya

Alias: All for One (No. 1 villain)

Quirk: All for One

Description: User can forcefully steal and give quirks by placing their hand on the victim's head.

Drawbacks: The user experiences any drawbacks associated with the stolen quirks. Giving quirks to others may result in the victim's death or cause permanent changes to their appearance, leading to mindlessness.

With this revelation, Izuku felt a shift in his perspective. He now had insight into his father's identity and abilities, and the dangerous world he was a part of. The idea of escaping his life of imprisonment and starvation, caused by his mother's torment, became an enticing possibility. His father's villainous persona and the skewed society of heroes fueled a desire for change.

As he stood at this crossroad, he made a decision. He would seek out his father, join him, and embark on a journey to dismantle the false society of heroes. With the knowledge of his quirk and the legacy tied to his bloodline, Izuku was prepared to take a path he never envisioned, one that could reshape the world and pave the way for a new, just society.

Sorry that this chapters a bit shorter than the first on, but I was running out of ideas, so hopefully the next chapter will be better.
