A confusing encounter

One week later

Izuku POV

I was let outside today to buy some groceries as the delivery man got into a car accident and we needed food so that I can cook them their meals.

As I was walking down the pathway about two blocks away from the shop, I bumped into a girl, unfortunately my blindfold fell a bit and I caught a glimpse of her: blond hair, dressed up in a school uniform, yellow cat-like eyes, she also seemed to smell like blood which freaked me out a bit. I quickly adjusted my blindfold before she noticed my eyes and asked in my usual dull voice if she was okay, to which she giggled slightly and answered back,

"Aren't you a cute boy, I would love to have your blood! Oooooh you would look so good covered in blood!"

At this point, I realised that I had copied her quirk when my blindfold slipped, so I analysed it and instantly grew hesitant. I can't let her get my blood, I would be killed if anyone recognised me. Suddenly, I felt another presence coming from the alleyway next to where we were talking, a deep, gravelly voice called out to someone, who I am assuming was the girl,

"Toga stop messing around, we don't want to create a scene and alert the heroes like last time."

No ones POV

The stranger stepped out from the shadows, a man with black hair, covered in purple burned skin which was assumed to be stapled to his healthier skin permanently. His turquoise eyes travelled to the masked greenette, and he seemed to be taken aback by his appearance.

Dabi POV

I glanced at the person Toga was talking to and immediately took notice of his green hair which blended to black at the roots. This guy-...something about this guy seems familiar. I can feel a strange sadness wash over me when I look at him, and I don't know why. Just who is he?

"Excuse me for my friends behaviour, her quirk makes her a little weird when she's hungry. My names Dabi by the way, what's your name?"

He stood there silent for a bit before responding in a hushed and almost forced whisper, "Izuku....."

My body stiffened at the mention of that name, 'It couldn't be him.......he disappeared after the day that I met him.......I even asked a blond kid if he knew where he was, they seemed close, but he hadn't heard from him either since that day.'

I was snapped out of my trance by Toga rapidly shaking me, but when I looked to where Izuku once stood, he was no longer there.

"You okay Dabi? You spaced out for a bit, I was worried! Do you know him?"

I missed my chance! I should have asked him something- anything! I needed to know if he really was Izuku! Damn it!

Izuku POV

I ran as soon as I felt him freeze at the mention of my name. That guy obviously knows me, and I don't want to find out why.......they seemed like they were villains though, if I meet them again I'll make sure to follow them back, they might have a lead as to the whereabouts of my father.

Small time skip

I picked up the groceries and almost reached the front gate of the house, until I felt horrible nauseous feeling spread through my body. My legs became numb and my head was spinning. I hurried through the gate and ran up to the house, directing myself towards the bathroom, locking the door.....and then everything went black.

Time skip to a few hours later

I awoke to the sound of the bathroom fan running, and iron like smell filled my nose to the point I almost couldn't bear it, and my body was numb against the floor of the cold bathroom.

'I blacked out?'

My thoughts suddenly grew rampant as I tried to find a solution to my less than graceful blacking out and numbness.

'Maybe my copied quirks were merging again? Was my nose bleeding?'

I once again let the calming darkness take over me as I entered my mindscape.

'That girl that I met on my way to the shops, her........her quirk was able to merge with my original quirk,.......and created an extra quirk alongside?!'

Quirk analysis: (this is only a brief description bc I don't want to have to copy out all of the quirk info again)

Quirk: copycat

Abilities: quirk allows user to copy the appearance and quirk of anyone they see, they do not need eye contact, they just need to see the person without any obstruction e.g. blindfold.

New merged (extra) quirk: Vampire - by drinking the blood of an opponent, the user can take their strength and use it as their own with a multiplyer of up to 10x. The amount the strength is multiplied can be raised by training and consuming the blood of other animals as well as human blood.

Sorry that this chapter is so late, I forgot to post it! In the next chapter I was wondering if he should run away or the 'family' get caught by Erasurehead, Tsukauchi, or Momo? Idk! Just give me ideas and feedback and I may use them in the book!
