Jace's P.O.V
I fall out of the portal. My legs landing steady on the ground. I think I landed in Florida cause I'm standing on a beach and it's really nice out. Jean would have loved this. I look around and then something hits me. "I just left my family and everyone i ever loved behind" I could feel the tears burning in my throat and starting to come up. I look around me trying to find someone or something. BAM! A ball hit me in the head and I turn around and see a little girl coming to me. She looked about 7 or 8. She had brunette hair and grey eyes. she looked right at me so I could tell she was a shadow-hunter. "Sorry I my sister hit you" " It okay. Is your sister around?" A girl with Blonde hair with red and black hight lights. "Sorry I hit you me and Grace were playing." "oh it's fine. But I have a question." "Yeah what's up?" "I was wondering if I could stay with you in the institute? If you don't mind?" "Of course you can why would it be called an institute?" "Hahah thanks" "you ready to go" "into more questions" "shot" "Where are we?" "Florida" "wow okay let's go to the institute"

Back in New York

Clary's P.O.V
No one has seen Jace all day and I'm kinda worried about him. I was eating breakfast when I got a bad feeling about Jace. He never slept in that late. It was almost noon and there was no sign of him. I turned my head to look at Amanda. "Amanda?" "Yeah Clary?" "Did you see Jace last night?" "Yeah he was in some random bedroom and he was all crazy he yelled at me for turning his girlfriend and then yelled at me for liking girls." Alec was sitting across from me at the table and he had his head in his hands the whole time hat Amanda was talking. I turned away from looking at Amanda and turned my attention to Alec that looked like he was going to cry. "Alec" I muttered out. His head shot up and his eyes were red. "Alec what's wrong?" Night when Jace yelled at Amanda he was mad at her for her liking girls and I heard everything then when Amanda walked away he saw me. he started to try and apologize but I yelled at him and ii... I think, he thinks I hate him." Alec dropped his head in his hands again. "Alec I'm sorry. But you know he only said that casue he was mad right?" "I DO KNOW!!!" Alec got up making the chair he was sitting him fall behind him and looked at everyone, and saw all the concerned Face's and ran out of the kitchen almost in tears. I feel so bad from him he loves Magnus and has told everyone and still is worried people won't be okay with him.

Alec's P.O.V

I ran down the hall was after my little out burst and ran right to Jace's room. I knocked on the door and there was no answer so I knocked and again and said. "Jace I'm sorry you know I love you right your my best friend. Jace please let me in" by that time I was on the verge of tears.

I open the door and the room was empty there was nothing. not even him book self had anything in it. The bed was made and there was paper on it. I read it and I started to cry. I fell to my knees and cried on the floor like a child.

"I'm sorry I have caused problems for everyone. I love you all and I want you to know that I am truly sorry that I hurt everyone.

Alec I'm sorry that you think I don't stand by your side but I do I completely support you. I love you. I'm sorry I hurt you. Please don't hate me.

Clary I'm sorry I didn't save you from Sebastion and I'm sorry I couldn't be with you when you came home. but most of all I'm sorry I hurt you I wish I had never forced my self on you. I love you. I'm sorry.

Jean I'm sorry and I can't tell you how sorry I am. I was scared and I didn't know what was happening. I blew up and I'm sorry. I want you to know that I except you and I'm sorry that you had to hide your feelings for so long. I'm sorry. Please don't hate me.
