Chapter Two

Kiyanne's POV:
*At LSU 3 Weeks Later*
Classes has already started at LSU and my schedule was smooth. Since I am a Music major and a Mass Media Arts minor my classes are every other week day. Odell & I has turned into good friends. He's like my right hand and is always showing me the ins and outs of Baton Rouge.
I got up out of my comfortable bed and started my daily routine. After getting out the shower, I put on leggings, long sleeved black crop top, and Infrared 11s. I also put on my black Louis Vuitton shades and handbag before driving to Starbucks. As I was waiting for my frappuccino, I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turned around quickly and it was Odell.
Me: hey.
Odell: Good Morning, beautiful.
Me: what are you doing here?
Odell: ehh I was with my pops then I seen your car so why not say hi.
Me: ohh.
I got my drink and headed out to the car. I don't have any classes because of the meetings going on through out schools but we do have a pep rally for football. But besides that I gotta go pick up my doo-doo butt Tyler, from the airport since he's checking out colleges and LSU is one of them. And since Odell knows the ins & outs of LSU he can help me, show him around campus.
Me: can you come with me to the airport please?
Odell: sure why not.
We walked out to my and I tossed him the keys and kept my shades close to my face to hide my bags around my eyes.
Odell: so why aren't you at Syracuse?
Me: I'm not there because of my ex. After we broke I knew I was going to need my space for a while before seeing him. So while we had the commitment ceremony, I decided to commit to LSU.
Odell: so do you mind me asking why did you and your ex break up or...
Me: I don't mind but I'll tell you later.
Odell: alright.
We pulled up to the airport and walked in watched a sea full of people come from baggage claim. I was getting worried by the minute that I didn't see doo-doo butt. After 2 minutes of searching through the crowd I found him.
Tyler: Stink.
Me: doo-doo butt.
I hugged him tightly, as if he was my protector. He might be my little brother but he always had my back when I was back home.
Me: I missed you. This is Odell. Odell meet Tyler my lil brother.
They shook hands. Even though Tyler started to fan guy over him.
Tyler: Dude your like the toughest wide receiver out on the field. Like my school need a wide receiver like you.
Odell: thanks man I appreciate it.
We continued our conversation, walking out to the car. Atleast they click well though.
Tyler: yall not fucking right?
Me: No!!! Tyler, we gon fight later watch.
Tyler: bet! But like how yall met. Cuz this campus is huge as fuck.
Me: well I took Trey keys to the Gallardo-
Tyler: How he let you take the keys to the Gallardo, but when I ask he got a problem?
Me: Cuz I'm the favorite, but yeah I got the keys to go check in on campus. And when I got everything I needed, he sitting on the car-
Tyler: you lucky uncle Trey wasn't there. That's one thing he don't play with besides his family, the cars is right after.
Odell: and we just clicked ever since. I mean she can be a lil to confident but that's what I like about her.
Tyler continued asking questions about what we doing for the day and we answered them. Soon we pulled up to my crib and walked in going to the 5th floor. And they both collapsed on my bed face first.
Me: if yall don't get yall stink asses of my bed.
Tyler: I mean the guest should take the bed.
Me: hell no your bed is right down the hall.
Tyler: always stingy and shit never let nobody have anything *mumbling*
Me: what?
Tyler: nothing.
My phone started ringing and it was my mother on FaceTime. I answered the call my fixing my hair.
Me: hey mommy.
Audrey: is Tyler with you?
Me: yeah he's unpacking. But I like how you disregard me like I ain't say hi.
Audrey: haha, who's that in the back?
Me: that's my friend.
Audrey: uhuh well I wanna meet him.
Me: we not even like that.
Audrey: I believe you cause of your situation. So what y'all gonna take him to see?
Me: well we gonna go eat later, then just show him around Baton Rouge. I scheduled him a tour with the athletic director for Tuesday then we're going to the football game.
Audrey: keeping him busy I see.
Me: most definitely. Where the twins at?
Audrey: practice and they packing to go some where.
Me: where they going?
Audrey: you'll see on Instagram.
Me: I guess but I gotta go Tyler being impatient talking bout he wanna find some girls.
Audrey: alright be safe...Love You.
Me: Love you too.
I hung up and walked into my closet to grab my gray & black bucket hat.
Tyler: so where yall taking me?
Me: out now walk.
Odell was behind me laughing. This shit ain't funny. Tyler doesn't realize that mommy and daddy is using this as a test so either one of them could pop up at the moment talking bout "Oh I was in the city and I decided to stop by." So if FUCK UP that's my ass and I might have to stay on Campus and its more to pay to stay on campus. I decided to check Instagram especially Aubrey's page checking to see where she was at.
Me: bro I think the twins are coming.
Odell: yah got twins?
Me: lil brother & sister.
Tyler: why you say that?
Me: Cuz of this
I showed him the picture of Aubrey's plane ticket. And he then went to text AJ. He gave me back my phone. And we got off the elevator and headed to SHAKA. Once we got there, we ordered our food and got a table and was sipping out beverages.
Tyler: so I was with DJ & Jay last weekend.
Me: how is DJ?
Tyler: he chilling & Kiana asked for you too. And I see you really don't care for Jay.
Me: I do but I can't get passed on why he did what he did?
Odell: what was it though?
Tyler: you never told me either. So I wanna know.
Me: a lot. We began to become distant with each other. And being that my high school was an all girl school. Everybody was talking. It came to my attention that he was stepping out and sleeping with a few girls in my school. At first I didn't want to believe it but then it was like let me find out on my own. So I just did a pop up at his house, mom dad sister nobody was home. Walked into his room and it was him and two bitches. Once I found out, I knew that he knew that I was done with him. Those two girls knew that they couldn't come back to our school.
Tyler: so that was the reason why you was locked in your room for days and decided come out for Signing Day.
Me: but like here's the crazy thing about that, our school did Signing Day & graduation day together. So while I was sitting infront of everybody, they all though I was going to Syracuse, instead I signed to LSU.
I didn't notice that tears was coming out my eyes until I felt tears hit my cheek. You can sort of say that the wound is still fresh even though it's now October and we graduated in early May. As for Odell he wiped my tears away for me.
Odell: it's alright we all go through heartbreak at some point in life. You just got learn from it.
Tyler: now you want me to fuck this nigga up or let him live.
Me: let him live. It's bad enough he thinks I'm with Odell on Instagram.
Odell: wow and we've only met like what 3 weeks ago.
Our food came and we started eating. While eating, my phone started ringing off. I looked at it and it was Kiana.
Me: hello?
Kiana: bitch where you at?
Me: uhh I'm out with Tyler and Odell. Why? Like you dead talking like you here in Bayou.
Kiana: Cuz I am bitch, I'm in front of your apartment building with a surprise for you.
Me: I guess, but you'll just have to wait until I get there.
Kiana: just hurry back.
She then hung up and I went back to eating.
Odell: who was that?
Me: Kiana.
Kiana and Odell are first cousins hard to believe. Odell and Kiana haven't seen each other in like 15 years. So if she is here it'll be like a family reunion. After eating we went back to my place only to see the twins, a dog cage, and Kiana.
I guess it's not a college tour for one.
