Chapter Thirteen

Kiyanne's POV:
We all heard the groan coming from my mom, and immediately we all got in our cars and drove to the hospital. My little brother is coming tonight. I'm too excited. I was dancing in my seat as Odell was driving and he kept looking over at me.
Odell: what you so happy for?
Me: my little brother is coming!!!
Odell: do you know what they're going to name him?
Me: well when I would talk to him, I would call him Kiyan-
Odell: like Melo's son.
Me: I never thought of that, but yeah and he responds.
Odell: so they'll be two of you with the same name but spelled differently.
Me: pretty much.
Odell: knowing you, you probably got him something.
Me: his gift is in the trunk from the last time we went shopping. Along with a bear and some clothes and sneakers-
We pulled up to the hospital and we watched my mother get wheeled to the back. Odell wasn't to far away from the car, I grabbed my little brothers gifts and locked the trunk. Before I could catch up, I felt a tap on my shoulder.
Me: who the he-oh its you. What do you want?
Jay: I can see that your still mad.
Me: of course I would be. You did me dirty after all I the shit I did for you. And that's how you treat me. By sleeping with bitches in my school.
Jay: I get I fucked up alright. But that's 5 years ago.
Me: and I wasted 3 years I spent with you when I could've been productive with my life.
Jay: you act like you ain't productive now. But can we at least start anew.
I raised my left hand to remove the hair that was blowing in my face.
Jay: you're getting married-
O'mere: ma hur-we!
Me: I'm coming!!
Jay: and you have a son.
Me: yes I am. If you think that you were going to come back and scoop me off my feet and we'll run off into the sunset you thought wrong. I'm happy now.
Jay: who are you getting married to?
Me: don't worry. Just know I'm very much happy. More than I was when I was with you.
With that I walked away. And caught up to Odell and O'mere and picked him and placed kisses all over his face. As for Odell, he wrapped his arm around my waist and walked inside and sat down in the waiting room. I checked my watch and it said that it was 11:55.

August's POV:
Dr. Williams: 5 centimeters Dialated Mrs. Alsina.
The joy of bringing in our 5th & last child the joy began kicking in. Knowing that he'll be here at any moment has me excited. As for his mama, she'll be ready to kill me.
Audrey: babe it hurts. Where's Kiyanne?
Me: she's in the waiting room. Want me to go get her?
She nodded her head. I walked out and went to go get her. Only to see her with a baby bag & a bear in front her.
Me: Kiy your mom wants to see you.
She got up and I took her to Audrey's room.
Kiyanne: hey momma!
Audrey: I want you to us a huge favor!
Kiyanne: and that is?
Me: we want you to name your brother.
Kiyanne: really!
Me: come on hurry before I change my mind.
She sat there thinking about it long. I what she's going to name her baby brother.
Kiyanne: Jahzier Anthony.
Audrey: that's cute! I can see you guys being so close it'll be cute. Kiyanne stayed in the room for another hour until she was asked to leave the room by Dr. Williams.

Kiyanne's POV:
I walked back into the waiting room to see O'mere sleep in Aubrey's arms. As for Odell, he was lost into space. I walked over to him and sat in his lap.
Odell: what's wrong? Is your mom ok?
Me: she just went into the delivery room. They wanted me to name him.
Odell: what did you choose?
Me: Jahzier Anthony.
People started to leave one by one. Aubrey & Kyrie went back to Aubrey's apartment and took O'mere with them. Eventually Odell & I went back to our house.
*Hours Later*
I woke up to Odell bringing in breakfast.
Odell: good morning babe.
I waved. That's been a habit. People always tell me I don't have morning breath but to me I think I do. I got out of bed and walked in to the bathroom to brush my teeth. After I finished, I sat back on the bed and ate the strawberry covered pancakes. Knowing that he seen my ex, I know he's going to pick at the situation.
Odell: so umm who was you talking to in the hospital parking lot?
Me: that was my high school ex-boyfriend.
He knows what happened between us. Knowing him he'll probably go ape shit crazy and he'll let his jealousy take control.
Odell: what did he say?
Me: he wanted to get back with me. And so you know I flashed the ring and he heard O'mere. So he got the message babe.
Odell: so when you going to start making these wedding plans.
Me: me or we?
Odell: well now that you say that. Let's start making these plans.
I made a mental note to call Shaina and have her help in planning since she helped me plan O'mere's 1st Birthday.
Odell: go get dressed we're going to go visit your mom.
I got out of bed and walked into our bathroom and got in the shower only to feel a presence and arms wrapped around me.
Me: Odell not right now.
Odell: I know I just came to save water.
After our shower we got dressed in A white v-neck shirt, black jeans, while I had on leggings, a red & black lumberjack shirt, and constriction Timbs with black & red designs on them. My hair was still wet, which caused it to be curly. I grabbed my black neverful and the baby bag that has my little brothers name on it.
Odell: you ready to go?
Me: yeah.
We got in his Mercedes that he's had since college. His mom was going to meet us at the hospital because I told her that we'll start making arrangements. As soon as we got there we walked toward my moms room only to feel eyes burning a hole in my face.
Me: good morning momma.
Audrey: morning baby. Morning Odell.
Odell: morning mom.
Her eyes was stuck on Jahzier. He looks like the rest of us. Especially with the hazel green eyes.
Me: let me see my brother.
As soon as I said that, Aubrey, AJ & Tyler came and surrounded by me. Another vow is being made by all of us. To protect, be there and stay there for him. I'm just one call away from him. We all had our bonding moment. O'mere came and sat in my lap. As for Tyler & AJ, they were arguing about who was going to take him to the mall first. He's not even a day old but their arguing. Shaina came to visit my mom. You can say she's a mother figure to a lot of our friends or people we deal with.
Odell: we'll see you once you get home mom. And practically everything he needs is in the baby bag.
Audrey: Awww thanks Odell & Kiyanne.
Odell: no problem.
We walked out with O'mere who wanted to stay with the baby.
Odell: O'mere what you want to do today?
O'mere: toys!!
Odell: let's get toys. Babe you want me to drop you off at the house or?
Me: yeah Shaina said she'll meet me there.
