Chapter Twenty-Four

Odell Beckham Jr.:
We are now in Dubai and it's midnight. We landed and our driver was putting our things into the car while I was busy trying to wake up my wife. On many attempts, she wouldn't budge.
Me: Kiyanne wake up
Still she wouldn't budge. My baby must be tired. I picked her up and walked out to the car and placed her in before getting in with her. It was night time so I respect her being sleep. As soon as the car pulled off to the hotel, she woke up.
Me: look who finally woke up?
Kiyanne: where are we?
Me: we're on our way to the hotel sleepy head.
Kiyanne: what time is it?
Me: 2:09 am.
She pulled out her phone typing really quickly before sending a message out. She then put her phone away and snuggled up against me.
Kiyanne: a full week of me and you I wonder what we are going to do?
Me: I got a lot planned for you I just hope you're ready for it?

Kiyanne Taylor Alsina-Beckham:
Odell: I got a lot planned for you I just hope you're ready for it?
Do I have my college sweetheart back? The one that makes plans without me knowing and just tells me day of. People wonder how we do stuff and still keep the connection alive sometimes. And I wonder how we do too? Being married with children sometimes takes the life out of relationships. Especially when you're in a "high profile marriage." Let's not get into that.
I played with his ring and realized he had ink underneath. Which was my name.
Me: when did you get that done?
Odell: a year after we got married. Surprised you never noticed.
Me: aww.
Knowing on the field he can't have his ring on he hid that well. But people know that he's mine and he's one not to be fucked with.
Me: what do you think about renewing our vows?
Odell: let's see in another 2 years. Because I got so much on my plate and soon you're about to pick back up where you left off. So let's just hold that off and let's enjoy Dubai. Us two no kids and relaxation.
What felt like the longest drive ever, we were finally at our hotel. We walked up to the front desk to check in.
Concierge: Welcome to the Burj Al Arab, last name please?
Odell: Beckham.
The lady looked at Odell a little too flirtatiously. I looked up at Odell to see that he was looking down at me with a smile on his face.
Me: what?
Odell: nothing. I just like how you still get jealous when females looking at me.
Me: ain't nobody getting jealous.
I felt his lips get closer to my ear before kissing it and pulling me closer to him.
Concierge: the Royal Suite is awaiting your presence. 
I grabbed the keys before Odell could. All I want is the shower and the bed before I call my kids. As soon as we got to the room, I was amazed. The detail is extremely tied to the theme of the room.
Odell: I take it you like the room.
Me: I do but we could have settled for something a little bit cheaper.
Odell: we're royal so we get the Royal Suite.
Me: thank you baby.
I kissed his cheek before going upstairs to our bedroom for the week. I walked into the master bathroom to be met with a full size jacuzzi and 5 head rain showers. As tempting as the jacuzzi looked, I'll hold that off for later.
After my shower, I grabbed a towel and eventually robe. I went downstairs to find Odell on the phone with our kids. He then got off the phone with them and then turned his attention toward me.
Me: I'm hungry.
Odell: don't worry about that.
He soon pressed a button which then a Butler appeared.
Butler: hello Mr. & Mrs. Beckham what is it that I can get for you?
Odell: what is the best middle eastern cuisine that you recommend worth trying?
Butler: something worth trying, meat sambousek it's like empanadas.
Odell: we'll have just that.
Soon the butler walked away to the kitchen I believe to prepare the order. Odell then turned back to me.
Odell: you look comfortable.
Me: the shower was everything. How are the kids?
Odell: they okay bothering Jazzy but she'll be fine.
Me: I figured. But you babe always surprise me what about me surprising you?
A smile came across his face. I knew he was going to say something sexual.
Me: babe nothing sexual.
His smile then went away. It was like I said something he didn't want to hear.
Odell: I'm not me if I can't be a little sexual with you.
The butler soon came back with meat sambousek and two waters. We thanked him, he then turned around and went back to where he was. I can honestly do without the butler and he seems like he never gets a break after our trip I'll make sure he gets one.
I took a bite into the sambousek or empanada if you let Odell say it. It was a burst of spices once you take the first bite. It was sweet because of the dough and then again spicy due to the spices used to season the meat.
Me: are you going to eat.
Odell: I got something else that I want to eat.
Me: get your mind out of the gutter. I swear we can't have a simple conversation.
Odell: would you let me though?
Me: I'll think about it.
He watched as I ate the rest of them and drunk some water. I definitely need some sleep. I placed my feet on the cold marble floor and walked up the steps. I grabbed my phone and walked up to the room.
Odell: where you going?
Me: to the bed to lie down.
Knowing that's a lie because I'm fully awake. Probably going to be on snapchat for the most part. I turned on the tv to see a small through back clip of the tv show we had when I was younger. Just straight memories. This was actually the episode when Odell met the family for the first time. I didn't even notice Odell was in the room until he said something.
Odell: they show this out here. Which episode is this?
Me: Family Competition.
Odell: oh wow that's crazy.
We just examined how we reacted when we won and how AJ reacted when my dad chose both Odell & Jarvis. I miss those days, now we're all grown up playing sports, doing music, radio, and in college playing football. I think I just might be running a celebrity basketball game really soon. I'll think about that as soon as I get back to the states.
