Odell's POV:
We got to Radio City in 15 minutes. And that's when the nerves started kicking in. As time went by Rodger Goddell, NFL Commissioner, started calling names that wasn't mine. He then came out with the 12th pick.
Rodger: with the 12th pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select Odell Beckham wide reciever LSU.
I got up on the stage shook his hand as he passed me the jersey I'll be wearing. This the best way To say that it's a blessing to be drafted, is great. But to play and be known is a greater one.
By the time everything was over I had already signed my contract and got my first check. I don't know what to buy as my first purchase. It should most definitely be something that would be worth while.
Kiyanne: I'm proud of you babe.
Me: thank you.
By the time the night was over, Kiyanne, Jarvis, Kiana, Jeremy & his girl, and I all decided to celebrate at the 40/40 Lounge.Aubrey's POV:
Being a Personality is hard but easy. And things get weird when you have to interview your own parents on your show. On my show I never interview only Singers and Rappers I interview sports players too. Gotta love them.
As for me, I'm single and loving it. Every aspect about it is amazing. I mean it's less stress on me and less shit for me to remember. But I do have my eyes on a few people. Mainly NBA stars but there has been a few suspicions that I'm daiting Zack LaVine, Klay Thompson, or Damian Lillard. I mean none of them are a bad catch, but I never talked to them, interviewed them, or met them. We have the same circle of friends but that doesn't mean we know each other.
As of now, I was walking into Starbucks to meet with Cassie and Kaitlyn, to schedule interviews and come up with questions.
Cassie: good morning!
Me: morning.
Kaitlyn: wassup with you. Sounding all groggy. It's 6 in the evening.
Me: I'm tired.
Cassie: well what was you doing?
Me: I was out hosting a party.
Kaityn: sun glasses and Advil.
Me: you got Advil?
Cassie: let's do this meeting at your house.
Me: you read my mind.
We walked back to my house. Soon as we got there, I put on my pajama pants and bunny slippers. I'm comfortable don't judge me. After we did the meeting I went back to sleep. I was definitely tired.Tyler's POV:
Officially broke up with Sydney. And it's been that way for 3 years. That gave me more time to focus on more important things going on. As of now, I've been focusing on the draft. I got a few more weeks of college basketball at Duke. And now it's only a matter of time before I play with and against the greats. I have goals set for myself while playing, if I make it.
I was chilling in Aleeyah's dorm room waiting on her to get ready. I was taking her out to eat. I guess you can say I'm taking her on a date. The last time I mentioned Aleeyah was in my senior year in high school. Since then we've messed around here and there but if I was to be in a relationship it would be her. But she told me she would never date a baller.
Me: Aleeyah are you ready.
Aleeyah: I just gotta put on my sneakers then we could go.
I watched as she put on her gammas and we left. We got in my car and drove to Applebee's. I have no problem with being single, but I honestly cant stay single for along time if I'm going to be around Aleeyah. I'd rather be in a relationship before going for the draft, because bitches don't see the personality once they know who you are. They just see dollar signs and a platform to get them selves started.
Aleeyah: you brought me here to talk so wassup.
Me: well you and me been knowing each other for how long?
Aleeyah: so years. But really we became close during the ending of your relationship with that frog.
Me: I know you ain't like her. But how about we make us official.
Aleeyah: I'm with it if you are.
