Chapter Ten

Now that the Giants season is over, Odell is no longer busy, but Kiyanne is. Since fashion week is coming up, she has part taken in helping a friend with models and with the help of closest friend, she started her own organization called Ladies Love Dapper. Which is true, but the whole point of Ladies Love Dapper is helping young men get the start of their career along with sending them off to college with a scholarship. And in the mist of everything they had a baby.

Kiyanne's POV:
With fashion week coming up in a about two weeks and we still don't have models. Well this fashion show is for Kiana & Is organization called Ladies Love Dapper, held in Scottsdale, Arizona, because of the fact that we're going to the Super Bowl and we needed something that is close by.
Kiana: where are we going to find these models for this fashion show.
Me: idk.
Layla: well I spoke to Sarah and she said how about we use our boyfriends.
Me: that sounds like a great idea. Let me call Odell to see if he could round up some guys.
I put my phone on speaker as it ring just waiting for Odell to answer.
Odell: what happened?
Me: well I just got news from Sarah that she wants the models to be NFL players.
Odell: I'll help by seeing if some guys would like to help.
The girls around me were stoked about it once they heard that he'll see about the others.
Odell: listen I gotta go so I'll see you when I get home and we'll talk later.
Me: love you.
Odell: love you too.
I hung up my phone and we continued our meeting to figure out details and design of the venue.
After our meeting, I had an interview with Wendy in about an hour. I drove to her set and got there within 30 minutes and it took me another 30 minutes to get ready.
Wendy: today we have the amazing daughter of R&Bs favorite couple, Audrey & August, Kiyanne. Let's give her a Wendy welcome. Kiyanne.
Me: hi Wendy!
Wendy: hi Kiyanne! So let's get right into this interview. So everybody knows that your August & Audrey's daughter. What was it like growing up?
Me: our parents had the money to get us the things we wanted but we had to work for it. If it was anything that we wanted or go some where, to get us there we had to have the grades. They were really big on us about school and getting a higher education.
Wendy: so with the TV show that you guys had what was the best moment you had. And why?
Me: the best moment I had, I'd probably say when the twins and Tyler came to visit me and get that college experience. I knew it was a set up that, my dad and mom did it was just to see how responsible I'll be. Knowing that I'm miles away from home they would have a close eye on me as they were used too.
Wendy: so you went to LSU-
The crowd cheered and applauded once she said that.
Me: yeah GEAUX TIGERS!
Wendy: how was it in Baton Rouge?
Me: it was amazing. I mean I met some really amazing people. And the people there didn't really care that Audrey Rose or August Alsina was my parents they accepted me for me. And I met my best friend and fiancé out there.
Wendy: fiancé?! Who is he?
Me: yes my fiancé. Odell Beckham Jr.
They posted a picture of us behind me and the crowd aww'd at it. And I knew it was a selfie of us in a bed. That was snatched off instagram.
Wendy: how did that come about?
Me: us dating or him becoming my fiancé?
Wendy: both!!
Me: so my bestfriend Kiana his cousin was like you got feelings for. And I'm like no I don't. So those feelings didn't hit until I seen him talking to another girl on our way to the library. Eventually he came to study with us, after we was done I told him I liked him.
Wendy: and you guys have a son together?
Me: yeah his name is O'mere he's 10 months old. That's my baby, I wish he was here, but he's with his daddy right now.
The crowd laughed and aww'd, I love my munchkin. He's adorable.
Wendy: what are some of the things you & Odell do with O'mere?
Me: everything that parents are supposed to do. We always take him out whether we're going out for a drive he's in the back seat, going to the park he's right there. Then other times we're in the house playing games.
Wendy: we know that your in the music industry as a independent artist did your mom or dad influence that?
Me: no I just made the decision on my own because I don't think that just because they are my parents I should have the best record deal and my own label. I'm independent because right now I don't think a deal is right for my self. When the time is right I'll sign if it's not I'll continue to be who I am as an independent artist.
Wendy: so I heard from a little birdie that your family is into sports?
Me: yes we are. AJ plays football, Tyler & I played basketball, Aubrey played volleyball and softball and since we're all active, we um have family sports days and we just play sports all day until we go home.
Wendy: so what are those game days like?
Me: really competitive. We hold a "draft night" the day before picking people on our teams and simply pure fun. But when it comes down to football. The guys go at it.
Wendy: so who wins all the time?
Me: in basketball it's me & Tyler. In softball it's my sister & my mom. In football it's either AJ or dad. Lately it's been my father.
Wendy: do you guys play horse?
Me: of course we do.
Wendy: who has the reigning crown as the horse champ?
Me: I do. It's all in the wrist.
Wendy: we should definitely do a family interview with you guys! What is next for Kiyanne?
Me: well what's next is that I'm putting together a fashion show for my organization call Ladies Love Dapper. Ladies Love Dapper is an organization that helps young men to go to college and help start them on a successful career path. Then I'll be putting out my EP early March call Wolf of All Streets. And I want to expand and grow in life.
Wendy: we wish you the best in everything that life has to offer you. And your welcomed to come back anytime.
After that interview. I decided to go to my parents house I haven't seen them since they've asked for O'mere to stay at the house with them. So we'll see how everything goes.

August's POV:
I was out shopping with Audrey, when my phone started ringing. So a lot has happened since the kids grew up and left the house. And coincidently Audrey's pregnant again with a baby boy. We always wanted a fifth child. And since our fifth child is a boy, we're doing some heavy duty shopping. Knowing the girls, Aubrey & Kiyanne, I can see him being babied & spoiled now. I checked my phone and seen it was Kiyanne calling me.
Me: hi baby girl.
Kiyanne: are you and mom home?
Me: no I'm taking your mom on a shopping spree.
Kiyanne: oh I'm on my way over to the house from my interview.
Me: who you had an interview with today?
Kiyanne: Wendy. It was pretty cool. Even though they asked some questions about you guys.
Me: ahh well we getting ready to leave now so we'll talk when we get to the house.
Kiyanne: kay see you later.
Me: see you later.
I hung up and looked toward Audrey. Crazy how we been married for like 10 years and it feels way more than that.
Audrey: I'm ready to go.
Me: are you sure there's nothing else we need to pick up.
Audrey: if there is I'll just order it.
We got in the car and drove back to the house. We seen Kiyanne and Aubrey's cars in the drive way.
Audrey: my baby's are here!!
Soon as I put the car in park, she got out and walked as fast as she could into the house. Imagine a penguin walking. Just 5 times faster.
Audrey: Kiyanne, Aubrey?
Them: hey momma.
They hugged and kissed her, then looked at me like I'm chopped liver.
Me: so y'all not gone say anything?
Kiyanne: hi daddy.
Aubrey: hey dad.
Me: what y'all came over for?
Aubrey: I came over to see mommy.
Kiyanne: same here. What y'all get Kiyan?
Me: what makes you think we're gonna name him that?
Kiyanne: because you guys love me and he likes that name.
Me: how do you know that?
Audrey: because when she calls him that he kicks like crazy.
Kiyanne: told you.
Aubrey: Kiyah when are we going to see O'mere again?
Kiyanne: last I heard from Odell he was on his way over from seeing his little brother Sonny.
Me: ohh...we still going to the Pro Bowl game right?
Kiyanne: only if Mommy can fly?
Me: she can. So I'll call-
Kiyanne: don't I got that covered.
Finally we get a break from making calls and reservation.
Kiyanne: and you guys get to see the Ladies Love Dapper Fashion Show.
Audrey: how has that production been coming along?
Kiyanne: we just found models and the venue has been put together piece by piece so far.
Me: why ain't you call me I could've did the show for you?
They all laughed. It's times like these where you just need family to be around and talk.
