Chapter Twenty Nine

I woke the next morning with arms wrapped around me. First time in a long time I can say I feel protected.
"Good Morning." He mumbled in my ear, which caused me to smile. "Good Morning" I replied. I stretch out and swung my legs across the edge of the bed, and placed my feet on the cold floor.
"What you doing later?" He asked. "I got an interview with Big Boy & The Neighborhood after that I don't think I have anything planned." "So do you mind if I come get you later and we just hang out?" "I don't mind be there around 11:30." I told him as I began gathering my things.
After getting my stuff ready and having Algee dropping me off, I went straight to the room and took a shower. It was a little chilly out to I put my outfit together, black mesh leggings, black Balenciaga's, black t shirt, with a biker jacket. I got dressed checked my phone before  Shar, ran up on me at the elevator.
"Never came back to the hotel. Bitch what happened?" She asked hoping that I would give her the answer she wanted but that didn't even happen. "Nothing happened. We just enjoyed each other's company that's all. We did kiss a few times. There may even be a few hickeys but that's all Ima say."
We got into the car that was going to my interview with Big Boy. I honestly don't want to speak about it because it's a freshly opened would that would take quite a while to heal, but I'm almost over it. As soon as we got there, my interview started.
"And we're back with our last and final guest for the week, always supported her whenever she had a new project Kiyanne is here ladies and gentlemen!" His cohosts welcome me like they do with everyone. "Good morning, good morning!" "There's a lot going on with you musically and personally." "Yeah! Musically I have about 3 singles out and in about 2 months I'll have about 5 or 6 pop up shows. A lot of people don't know this but I'm starting to dive into acting & starting my own kids clothing & shoe line." "Why kids and not like adults?" "Well my kids, O'mere & Kylin, are who inspire me to create pieces of clothing. Every time they go on play dates and come back home, they always say 'my friends said they like this' or 'they want one.' But for parents it's going to be awhile." "Let's talk about this acting thing what's on the table?" "What's on the table is stuff with OWN, being in GreenLeaf, I play Princess Daya in the Princess Diaries, the black version." "Princess diaries. What made you do it?" "My daughter. Seeing her play with dolls and knowing how the media can get only portraying princesses to be white, being that she's only 3, I don't want her to feel like she isn't pretty enough or to think that she's not a princess when she is. Aside from her I always wanted to have a princess role." I answered honestly. "So acting is on the table I know it's hard for artists to become actors, for some it takes a while for them to get their big break, they have to take classes the whole nine, how was it for you in your case, what's it like for table reads?" "If you let my manager say it, I was a natural, he says they closed the casting call pretty quick after I my audition. You ask me I was up after I put my children to sleep I would go over lines then, in my free time practicing lines, it was constant a practice of lines to be done. We did the first table read last night and there are some heavy hitters playing other roles that sometimes I question myself with umm do I deserve lead." I answered. "So we're also getting a glimpse of your personal life between this divorce between you & Odell, you guys was everybody's couple goals. What honestly went wrong?" Big Boy's one of cohosts asked me. "Like every couple we have our problems, I'm not going to blame everything on him because there were somethings that I did. But what made everything just break was the fact that he was cheating on me." "So it's true that he did. What about your kids does he check on them?" Yesi asked. I sighed as I felt myself getting upset, I pushed my shades closer to my face as I played with my phone. "No he does not. O'mere & Sky always ask does he still love them, they're used to seeing their dad around when he could be but now I don't even know what's going through his mind. But one thing is for certain they don't have to worry about anything, I got them." I responded. Those babies are my world, they're all I got. "On a lighter note, I've came across some pictures of what seems to be you and star of the New Edition Story Algee Smith out on what looks like a date at NoBu. Can you spill some tea on that?" She then questioned as I began blushing red while laughing. "We're trying to figure out where things would go as of now it's amazing I'm happy." "You do know that's an age gap right?" "I do. But here's the thing, I only stayed in my age bracket for like 12 years. I've dated somebody in high school that was the same exact age as me. Odell was like a year older me. They all ended the same." "So your saying younger is better?" "Pretty much so. It's certain things you can do with an younger guy that you won't feel bad about." "Like what?" Big Boy asked. Yesi easily fessed up. "You can have sex with them and not feel bad about it." We all laughed in the studio, "I wasn't talking about that but okay." We began to wrap up this interview. I began walking to the lobby to see Algee's car in the parking lot, and him with an umbrella up awaiting for me. "I take it you're going with him?" Shar asked. "Yeah. Go shopping treat yourself you deserve it." Her eyes lit up like my kids at Disney world. She got in the car as quick as lightning while I walked over with Algee to his car. As we both got in, we drove back to his house.
"So I caught the ending of the interview," I began laughing. "That's not what I meant." "Then what did you mean?" He questioned. We pulled through the gates to his house, we got out the car and began walking inside the house. "It's a certain type of way you make me feel. I personally don't care about the age gap, they just made it a big deal." I answered. I stepped out of my shoes as he laid on his bed he handed me one of his shirts to change into. I walked into his bathroom and changed. As I hummed Carl Thomas' Summer Rain walking back to his bed. Before I knew it, he was already between legs, rain makes it easy for people to have sex & sometimes it makes it better.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked me. By now I was underneath his body naked. He already thought twice before going through it. I bit my lip before nodding my head. Everybody needs a little play time. Soon as he put the tip in, he took heed into my every need.
Let's just say I was really pleased.
We layed in bed for probably the rest of the day and listened to music, before his phone started ringing it was his friend and former cast mate  Bryshere. I quickly grabbed his shirt & put it back on you may never know if he plans on speaking about me.
"Wassup Bryshere?" "What's got you smiling?" Bryshere asked him. He looked at me and smiled some more before getting a chance to respond. "Who is she?" Sean asked again. "You know who." He simply stated. So he talks about me when I'm not around. I thought to myself. "Kiyanne. So it's true you and her are together?" We haven't really established a title for us. But we both like the space we're in. "She's my girl. There's no questions about that." I laid on the bed rubbing his back as they continued to talk business & personal. "So I've been thinking it's been months since we hung out as a group with the whole NE fam, if you agree to it, we all coming out there to crash at your crib." Bryshere said. I looked at him as if he needed the push to do so. "I'll do it." He answered. "Cool cuz even the little kids want to hang with us, so yeah I'll set it up." I heard him say. "I got a break coming up soon for like three weeks with this new movie I'm shooting so around then would be perfect." Algee added. They continued having a conversation, while I felt Algee's hands on me while I moved behind him and began leaving kisses behind his ear and on his neck. Only because I want his attention. "Yay let me call you back." He hung up the phone and looked at me. "What happened?" I began laughing. "You just wanted my attention." I nodded. After 5 minutes into his conversation I got bored.
The more we spend time like this together, the more sure I am that I have confidence in starting something new.
