Chapter 4: Decisions

(To Pov) Tommy woke upend was instantly looking for Dream. "Dream, are you there?" he shouted waiting for an answer. He got up and tossed his blanket back on the bed, not bothering if it looked messy. "Yeah what's up?" Dream shouted back. Tommy took one of his iconic red shirts out of a chest and put it on.

He walked outside looking for his friend. "Where are you?" he shouted in all directions not knowing where the masked boy was. "I'm at the beach!" he shouted back. Tommy quickly walked to the beach, desperately wanting to know what Dream was up to. Dream ran around the table putting some things down and moving some things around. "I made breakfast!" Dream said smiling brightly. Tommy could barely see the smile behind his mask. Sometimes it was really hard reading Dreams expressions because the mask covered almost every inch of his face. "Nice!" Tommy smiled back.

He noticed that he was actually pretty hungry. He looked at the table seeing some bread, butter, cheese, and scrambled eggs. "That looks very delicious! When did you learn to cook?" Tommy asked. "Hm... I dunno." Dream answered, taking a seat and gesturing Tommy to sit down in front of him. He sat down and took a slice of bread and buttered it. "I can take this, right?" he asked shoving the bread in this mouth. "Yeah sure" Dream answered wheezing. "What's so funny, Florida man??!" Tommy asked with his mouth full of bread. "N-Nothing it's fine.." Dream said still wheezing.

They finished eating and put the dishes in a chest. "I will clean that later.." Tommy said fully aware that that won't happen for a long time. "Sure, sure..." Dream replied not sure if the boy would actually do what he promised he would do. They talked and had fun together the time passing by in no time. "You are such a good friend!" Tommy told Dream smiling thinking of the great time they had together in the past days. "Much better than anyone of l'Manburg ever was." His smile faded as he thought about how Tubbo exiled him and how nobody stood up for him. Dream noticed that Tommy got angrier and put his hand on Tommys shoulder as Dream jumped in front of him to look Tommy in the eyes. "It's ok Tommy. They don't matter anymore. You still have me and I would never leave you."

(D Pov) Dream felt bad for lying so much but he knew it was necessary for his plans. Dream planned everything to the tiniest detail so nothing would go wrong but he didn't expect what Tommy was about to say.

(To Pov) Tommy calmed down and stared at Dreams mask, as it was the closest thing he would get from seeing his actual face. "I wanna join your side." Tommy didn't stop staring at Dream looking for any sort of reaction he would get from his friend. His only real friend, not like all his other fake friends. Tubbo. Dream widened his eyes in shock as he took a step back. "Y-You want what?" Dream asked still very confused.

The sun was setting which lit their faces in a bloody shade of red.

"I want to join your side, Dream. I don't want to be a part of l'Manburg anymore. You were so nice to me and proved yourself as a loyal friend over and over again. I want to destroy l'Manburg and everyone that wronged me." Tommy was smiling but not the happy smile he always had, it was a smile that longed for revenge. A smile only people have that lost everything. A smile that belongs to a person with a dark soul.

(D Pov) Dream didn't know what to say. He was completely shocked that Tommy wanted to join his side. This is even better than I thought it would be. Dream had to admit that he liked Tommy and that he got attached to the British boy. He broke Tommy. Tommys whole world crumbled in front of his eyes and there was nothing he could have done to prevent that. Dream had used this chance to get closer to Tommy, and it worked even better than he thought it would. 

The revengeful smile on Tommys lips made him send a shiver down his spine. As unexpected as this dark side of Tommy showed itself, it disappeared again. The 16-year-old teenager stared at him, desperately waiting for an answer. Dream thought for a few more seconds and finally answered.
