Chapter 2

(Dicks prov, present time)

So to catch you guys up even though im sure the author will explain it again later in the book but anyways. Its been 9 years since I left, I am now 25 and havnt talked to anyone from the YJ or the Bat and anyone from there. I dont regret what happened because of it I got a new amazing team, The Teen Titans, and an amazing family. Anyways lets go to the story

I woke up like every morning with Starfire sleeping on my chest. I smile down at her and kissed her forehead and then got out of bed careful not to wake her up. I walked out of our room and went across the hall to check on the kids. Yes you heard me right kids, me and Starfire have two kids you will meet them later. Once I saw that they were both sleep still I went the kitchen and started to make food for everyone

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that we still live in the T tower, same with everyone else and their partners. We all decided that it would be easier to live here since we wouldnt have to worry about paying a rent bill and when we have missions all the kids are in one spot and we know no one will take them

"How are you always up so early" Beast boy asked as he sat down

I just smiled at him and continued to make pancakes, eggs, bacon, tofu bacon, and toast. Beast boy put his head down on the counter still a bit tired. I filled a cup full of orange juice and put it in front of him

"Drink this, Im up so early because my body is used to waking up early. Plus half the time I dont sleep" I said smiling

He just shook his head at me. Soon Cyborg came in with jinx on his back about to pass out, knowing this is how they were going to be I set a cup of coffee where they were going to sit down. Raven came in reading a book and just kept reading the book as she floated over to the couch

"DADDY" I heard a little girl scream
Mar'i, a little 5 year old girl with black hair like mine and green eyes like her mother came running into the kitchen ignoring everyone else. I picked her up and hugged her then went back to cooking with her in my arms

"Mommy told me to tell you that she will be in a bit with John" Mar'i said 

"Thank you for the update, you want to help me make the rest of the food" I asked 

She smiled brightly and nodded her head like crazy. I laughed and let her handle the eggs, basally just letting her watch them until she thinks they are done and then I will tell her if they are or not. She has gotten good with telling when something is done or not by doing this

Soon enough the food was done. We moved the food in front of everyone and then called them to eat. Everyone grabbed their food and started up a small talk. Starfire came in with John sitting on her hip playing with her hair. John is a 2 year old, he looks like a mini me, he has black hair with blue eyes but if you look close enough you can see a hint of green in there

"I see the little dude finally woke up" I said 

"Oh no he woke up a while ago but he didnt want to put on cloths so it took a while" Starfire said 

We all laughed at that. Then suddenly a little 6 year old girl with Purple short hair,  purple eyes, and green skin came running into the room. She ran up to Beast boy smiling like a dork

"Hey dad can we go to the park today" She asked 

"I dont know Arella how about you go ask Uncle Wing" Beast boy said 

"How about you ask your mom" I said glaring at beast boy

"I already did she said to ask dad" She said
