A New Life

Chapter 12

There is going to be alot of prov switching in this chapter so be ready for that. Also out of everyone in the league Canary is the only one that isnt a OG 6 that know about Dick being alive

It is now about 1 in Jump making it 3 in Gotham area

(3rd prov with young justice)

The team were on their way back to the mountain. All of them were in complete silence, no one dared to say a word. They were all stuck in their own heads going over everything that happened on the roof top. Wally was silently crying, he pushed Artemis hand off of his shoulder when she tried to comfort him. He didnt want to talk to anyone or even be comforted, he knows he deserved everything that was coming at him. Everything that Nightwing said was true 

He was the only one on the team that knew him out of the costume, he was the only one that was there for him when the day that changed his life came every year. He was the only one that knew how to calm him down during one of his anxiety attacks, he knew Dick like the back of his hand but yet he still turned on him.  He didnt feel he like he could take the comfort from anyone

While Wally was yelling at himself in his head the rest of the team was also having their own battles in their heads. Kaldur was trying to find a way to tell Batman they meet up with Robin now known as Nightwing again and his 3 sons showed up thousand of miles away from home without getting Batman to angry.  Zatanna didnt know what to do since she wasnt there when all of this went down so she didnt feel how everyone else did. Sure she felt bad for  Nightwing but thats all she felt, she didnt feel all of the guilt like everyone else was feeling so she just sat there quietly

The rest of them were feeling guilty because what the 3 boys said was true. They were willing to lie to everyone about their mistake because they wanted to keep their good reputation and have people believe they wronged no one. And so they flew back to the mountain in silence

--time skip about like 30 minuets---

They got back to the mountain and the moment they landed and the door opened Wally was running to his room ignoring everyone who was there to hear their report. Everyone who wasnt on the mission was confused why he just ran past them but when the rest of the team came out of the ship they could see their sad faces, at that everyone knew something happened 

"Kaldur what happened" Canary asked 

Kaldur was about to respond but then Batman came walking into the room looking a bit mad 

"Where is Cheshire" Batman growled 

"I thought she was in the cell here" Canary asked 

"She was but not anymore. She is gone and I have 3 sons that are also missing now to" 

"Wait I thought you said Red Robin was at home sick. Arent the other two also at home" 

"Well thats a lie" Batgirl said 

everyone turned to her with a questioning look

"Even if Red Robin was sick he still would have come to training. Even if Agent A tried to stop him and spike his drink that would only keep him down for a couple of hours, isnt Robin at his Mothers today" Batgirl asked

"No,today was his day to stay with me tomorrow he goes to his mothers. When I called Agent A it was to quiet for all 3 of them to be home so they are all missing right now" Batman said 

"Yeah I think we can answer at least one of those questions" Artemis said 

Everyone turned to the team that went on the mission waiting for them to continue
