Chapter 8

(With the batboy and Cheshire)

The three boy and Cheshire got out of the mountain without being seen and are now standing on top of a building in happy harbor since that is the only place there arent super heroes roaming around. Tim is on his glove hacking into the mountain to delete all of the footage and change the zeta tubes so it shows the three were never there

''Ok now it looks like we were never at the mountain and that some villain came in and broke you out since all of the footage is gone now" Tim said 

"I dont see why you did that, so what if they know it was us" Jason said 

"You might not care since you are a anti hero but we are still heros, plus this way when they see she is gone they wont come to us and find out what we are doing, which we all know they will stop us from continueing" Tim said 

"TT I would like to see them try and stop me" 

"Are you three done auguring so I can tell you about Dick" Jade asked annoyed 

"Yeah we're done. Now tell us what really happened to the first Robin. Bruce's report says that he died but I have a hard time believing that" Tim said 

"Thats because he didnt" Jade said 

All the boys got a hopeful look in their eyes

"He is still alive and well...well as well as you can be fighting villains" Jade smirked 

"So hes still fighting crime then" Damian asked 

"Yeah he is, he loved fighting crime. There was no way him getting betrayed by everyone he trusted would stop him from fighting crime" 

"Speaking of that what happened that made them kick him off. We saw the footage from the cave that day and what they said but there has to be more to it right?" Tim asked

"Ahh yes the day the Bat made a mistake and the team lost a brother. You see that day the team had a mission, they were on edge because they got word there was a mole and they pinned it down to one person without thinking of other options" 

"Dick Grayson" Jason said

"Yes Dick Grayson. On the mission, Robin disappeared like he did all the time no one would know where he went but you could always tell where he was going by his cackle" 

"His cackle" Damian asked 

"Yeah, it was this creepy laugh type thing he always did right before defeating you it was scary. You would never know where he is but you know he was there. Anyways, that was one reason why the team suspected him, all because he was doing what his Mentor taught him to do. On the video you would have heard that Robin gave away their location right" 

"Yeah Kid Flash said that the mission was going fine until Robin gave away their location" Jason said 

"Yeah he gave it away because there was hostesses and a little girl with a bomb strapped to her. Robin gave away their location so that he could save the girl and get the people out. The team didnt see the people since they were already in fight outside. Once all of the people were safe and the people inside watching them were knocked out he went and joined the team outside to fight

"When he got outside there was more villains then they thought so the team was losing a bit. Half way through the fighting Robin got pulled aside into the shadows and had a knife to his throat. He was told that he could either go with the villain or let 5 other cities get blown up" 

"How did he know it was real or not" Damian asked 

"He didnt, but he couldnt take the chance of it not being real so he went with the villain. The team saw this as another sign of him being a traitor even though he tried to tell them why he was going with them, but the team was blinded by their anger you could say towards him. In the end Robin was able to defeat the villain he went with and to stop all of the bombs that were going to go off. When he rejoined his team though they all looked upset at him but he didnt know why until they made it back to the mountain, which you guys know how that ends" 

The three boys stood there for a minuet just taking in the story and everything she just said

"So what happened after that" Jason asked 

"Well Dick left Gotham completely and has yet to return, although once he meets you three I think he might. And the league found out who the real mole was but it was already to late, and since they hadnt seen anything on the news about Robin other than him disappearing they all believed he died. That is until they heard about the Teen Titans and they connected the dots or more like Bruce connected them, but since they already told everyone who knew him he died they kept up with that lie" 

"TT, so they all basically forgot about him" Damian said 

"Yeah, until someone mentions him to which they will all shut down and not talk about it" Jade said 

"Sooo....he is in Jump city then. And how do you know all of this" Tim asked 

"I know all of this because me and him are friends, my husband and him are friends after all to. Yes he is in Jump City, the same city the OG team was sent to"

"I knew there was a connection, So can you give us a way to get ahold of him" Jason asked 

"All you have to do is go to the  T tower in Jump you cant miss it. I do hope you guys meet him, he also deserves to know about you guys. Now dont you guys have to get home before a certain big man does" Jade said 

"Yeah we probably should, thanks for telling us what we wanted" Tim said

"Thanks for getting me out of the cell. Oh and also boys" 

"Yeah" They all said

"Will didnt change anything about him, had to make sure I got out" Jade said while she melted into the shadows with her famous grin on

The boys all felt dumb for believing her about that

"Lets get home now" Jason said

All the boys were back in the library, hurrying to do their homework luckily it was the weekend so they did have time to do it

"I see you are back" 

All the boys screamed and jumped, you could see Tims soul leaving his body, Damian was holding his chest, trying to remember how to breath again , Jason looked like he needed to be thrown back into the pits

"Jesus Alfy, you trying to kill me again" Jason yelled 

"We need a bell on you" Damian said 

Alfred just smiled and set the plate of cookies he made down on the table

"Did you get what you wanted" Alfred asked 

"What do you mean" Tim asked after his soul returned to his body

"Please Master Timothy dont lie to me. Now I will keep your little jail break a secret but when you do go to jump that will be harder to keep on the down low" 

the boys looked at each other

"You know we should have seen this coming. He is Alfred after all, he sees and knows all" Jason said 

"When you go to jump make sure you take a container full of cookies with you" Alfred said and then he walked out
