Chapter 25

Previously on "A New Life" 

"Yeah it's easy when you have a team that trusts you," Nightwing said

It got really quiet after that, no one knew what to say or how to react to the dig

"Ok, how about we move on the sparing. And then we can see if the Young Justice wants to join you guys, how about that ok" Canary said in a voice that said no one dare disagree

Nightwing smirked and started to match people up to fight

Beast boy vs. Jade

Cyborg vs. Starfire

Nightwing vs. Will

Raven vs. Jinx

Everyone nodded and went and got ready. The Young Justice and Justice League went back up to the view area and waited for the first match to start. After a couple of minuets the first match started 

(Time skip cause I suck at fight scenes)

Will and Nightwing were in the middle of their fighting when the Titans coms went off

".....Night....Wing" 

"Aqualad is everything ok" Nightwing asked worried stopping his and Wills fight

"Um...Yeah everything is good" Kaldur said 

The Titans ignored Kaldur and stood there waiting for a response. The people in the viewing room came down since the fighting stopped. They were all confused on what was going on since Nightwing asked if everything was ok and then ignored the answer

"Aqualad come in" Nightwing said again

"What do you mean" Kaldur asked 

"Ugh, not you, Aqualad from Titans east" 

"Titans east??" Cassy questioned 

"....he....help" 

"What do you need help with!! Aqualad!! Bumble Bee are you there, what the hell is going on" Nightwing asked 

"We... are under... heavy fire... Clown... dude.... need help" Was all that was said from Bumble bee

"Titans we need to get back to Jump city asap. I will inform Slade what is going on. Lets go" Night wing said 

The Titans nodded and all started to run to the zeta tubes

"Nightwing!" Batman called out

The Titans stopped and turned back around mad because they got stopped when their friends are in trouble and they are here dealing with these people

"You guys go, I will meet up with you guys" Nightwing said 

The others nodded and took off. Nightwing was staring at Batman clearly mad that he got stopped 

"What is it, if you couldnt tell I am needed somewhere else right now" 

"Let us help you"  

"Yeah we can help you, we have to fight together anyways. This will be a good way to get to know each other also" Jami said 

"You know what I dont have time to fight, you guys can come but Im in charge. Its my city you have no jurisdiction over it so you follow me" I said starring at Batman 

He nodded and everyone else looked understanding. Nightwing just shook his head and pulled out his phone to text Slade what was going on. While saying how he couldn't believe this was happening. They zetatubed to Jump City, everyone came out and had to squint because of how much the sun was shinning after all it was 1 in Jump

When everyone was out of the zetatubes they followed Nightwing. Nightwing took them up to the roof tops and then just stood there for a minute. Everyone was confused but then he started to run off, they all followed confused until they saw a explosion go off in the distance. Once they reached the scene it was in total shambles. There was fire everywhere and the Titans spread out all over the roads fighting someone. 

Will and Jade were fighting Harley,  BB and cyborg were fighting ivy, Starfire, Raven, and Jinx were trying to hold off Joker. Everyone else were fighting goons and plants. Suddenly there was a tiny blast and then a yellow thing landed on Nightwings shoulder. Upon looking closer everyone could see it was a human with wings, she was wearing Black and Yellow and had two space buns in. 

"Hows it going Bubble bee" Nightwing asked 

"Well as you can see not so well, unless you lost your eyesight from seeing those people again" Bubble bee said side glancing at the teams behind Nightwing

"Bubble bee" 

"Alright alright. So far Aqualad has gotten all of the civilains out of harms way so we have this whole block to work with. The twins have been good at taking on the goons and the plants that keep popping up. The rest of us have been trying to fight off those three people. Who are they by the way cause last time I checked we didnt have some freaks in clown make up and a person with a serious green thumb" 

"Joker is the one with green hair. Harley is the one with the bat and ivy is the girl that can control the plants. They are all from Gotham" Batman spoke up

Bubble bee just turned her head and glared at him. Even though she was small everyone could feel the stare and the hatred coming off of her when she turned around

"Why are they here" Bubble bee asked not taking her eyes off of the group

"Because they are helping us get the girls back and they insisted on helping" Nightwing said watching what was going on around him, coming up with a plan in his head on how to deal with these people

"Batman. You, Red Robin, and Red Hood go deal with Harley. Flash run around Jump and see if there are any more goons or villains rooming around. If you see a dude with a spider head and body leave him be unless he is destroying something, he is unimportant right now. if there are not then start putting out the fires" 

Flash gave a confused look but nodded and ran off. Everyone else were questioning what Nightwing meant by that but now wasnt the time to question him. Batman, Red Hood, and Red Robin got to work helping the other two

"Kid Flash run around and make sure every person is a safe distance away from here, make sure there isnt someone hiding somewhere. Once you are done with that join Flash with the fires. Wonder girl, Rocket, Impulse, and Blue Beetle go help with Ivy. Watch out for her vines they are deadly, also Impulse and Blue Beetle make sure you stay clear of any smoke she can control you with it. The rest of you help out with the goons and where ever else you are needed. Superman scan the area and see if there are any bombs hidden, if there are take Superboy with you can get rid of them" 

"You want us to fight one of the big guys" Wonder girl asked surprised and confused

"Yes, you have enough experience and you can handle your self pretty well. Why wouldnt I have you fight one of them. Unless you dont feel up to it, if you dont want to we can switch up or goes" 

".....no need to switch we got this" Blue Beetle said 

Nightwing nodded and jumped off the roof heading over to Joker. Everyone else took that as their que to follow and join the fight

Hey yell sorry this took so long to get out. I know I made those posts saying it was coming soon but then life got in the way. Some shit has happened in my life that its making it hard to update when I say I will. Also ive been picking up shifts at work since I have to pay for college so even less time to work on this book. Once again Im sorry you guys but hey at least it is out now. 

On other knews I have been thinking of moving this to Ao3 because wattpad has been going down hill with a add every chapter. I also find Ao3 easier to work on. If I do put it on Ao3 I will still update this one to unless you guys are all good with just being on Ao3. 

As I said I am going to college now, been taking summer classes to try and get out faster so the updates will be far apart from now on, I will try to get them out as soon as possible
