It's Wednesday and the lunch rush at the restaurant has finally died down. Juan Luis and I are on lunch break in the backroom while some of the other chefs are working in the kitchen.
He's told me all about his newfound love for Niall, and I tell him about my upcoming date with Harry. Apparently, Juan Luis wants me to take him back to Duckies as often as possible in hopes that he can talk to Niall again.
I told him he could go alone, but then he insisted I should invite Harry when we go, and wouldn't stop asking until I agreed (it really didn't take much convincing, though).
His lunch break ends twenty minutes before mine and before I know it he's headed back into the kitchen, throwing the remainder of his chicken salad in the trashcan as he leaves. I settle back in my chair and pull out my phone, already having finished my sandwich.
The ding of a text notification goes off the moment I unlock my phone, and it's from Liam.
Liam: Hey Louis
Me: Hi
Me: How's the photoshoot?
Liam: Good so far! They brought in some people from other brands for a big collaboration. It's nice meeting all these new people, they're quite nice
Me: Nice :)
Liam: Are you in the kitchen right now?
Me: No, just on lunch break. What's up?
Liam: ...
Me: Liam?
Me: What the fuck is ... supposed to mean?
Me: bitch pick up your phone
Liam: Sorry, I was just talking to one of the other models
Me: Oh okay. Now answer me whats ... mean??
Liam: There's someone here
