The End (Five x Reader)

Funeral

Luther called a family meeting to plan the funeral for their father. 

"I guess we should get started. So, I figured we could have a sort if memorial service in the courtyard at sundown. Say a few words just at dad's favorite spot." 

"Dad had a favorite spot?' 

"You know, under the oak tree. We used to sit out there all the time. None of you ever did that? Luther was interrupted by Klaus's stupidness and Allison realised that Klaus was wearing her skirt which was super inappropriate but once again Klaus didn't care.  Luther tried to talk about dads death again and everyone just rolled their eyes. "The last time i talked to dad he sounded strange"

"Strange how?"

"He sounded on the edge. Told me i should be careful who i trust." 

'Luther, he was a paranoid old man who was starting to lose what was left of his marbles."

"No he must've known something was going to happen, Look i know you don't like to do it but i need you to talk to dad." Luther turned and said to Klaus which made Klaus scoff,

"I can't just call dad in the afterlife and be like, 'dad, could you just....stop playing tennis with Hitler for a moment and take a quick call?' I'm not in the right frame of mind"  Allison pointed out he was high which made Klaus very happy. Luther accidently made a point which made Diego point out he thought someone in this family had killed dad causing everyone to get mad and walk away in disbelief that their brother would even assume that. 

-FLASHBACK- 

"In five...four...three...two... This is Jim Hellerman, reporting live for channel 2 news, outside of the capital west bank at Main and Sixth. A group of heavily armed men stormed the bank not three hours ago and took an unknown number of hostages." 

"Hey get behind the counter!" A man yelled while facing a gun to innocent people while a loud alarm was screaming loud.  A girl walked behind one of the men.

"I heard a rumor." 

"What? What did you say?"

"I heard a rumor that you shot your friend in the foot." His eyes rolled white and turned back to normal as he turned his aim to one of his allies and shot him in the foot, people screamed as the man next to her looked in shock. 

"We just heard shots from inside the bank. It's uncertain if any hostages have been harmed in that." The reporter pointed out as they watched a kid run across the roof.

Luther jumped inside the building hitting a mans head on a table and throwing him out the window.

"Looks like one of the armed robbers has been thrown from the bank."

Diego ran in the bank with two knives in each hand yelling "Guns are for sissies. Real men throw knives." He throws them at Allison but she doesn't even flinch as they turned and go through one of the armed mens shoulders pinning him to the wall.

"I've been in many hostage situations like this, and it can escalate very quickly." 

y/n turns invisible and knocks out one of the men while lifting him up and throwing him into another, she turns and stands on the counter behind one of the men. 

"Get back you freaks!' 

"Hey be careful up there, buddy" Diego torments the robber,

"Wouldn't want you to get hurt" Allison laughs

"Or what?" Five says as he space jumps next to y/n grabbing her hand as the man shoots at them, he space jumps behind him and y/n swaps the gun over for a stapler. the man tries to shoot five with the stapler, five looks back up at them man and said "thats one badass stApler" and hits the mans face as he falls back unconscious, y/k steps over the man and leans down 

"thats what you assholes get for fucking with us....bye bye" she kicks the guy in the gut and five grins at what she just did. 

"Although there's been no activity for a few minutes, we're gonna stay live on location to make sure we don't miss anything in this hostage situation at the Capital West bank." 

"Do I really have to do this" Ben says knowing he had to use his powers which he hates the most, everyone starts pushing him on. y/n cups his cheeks in her hand,

"Ben you've got this, i know you do....just do it quick and you will be out sooner than you think" He smiles thanking her and walks inside. y/n walks back and feels a hand on her shoulder, 

"it's cute how much you care for us y/n" y/n smiled at the thought he called her cute "take a picture it will last longer" five starts laughing, y/n didn't even realise she'd been staring at him,

"don't flatter yourself buddy." Y/n and five were like friends but they always tormented each other, they thought the other one hated them but really it wasn't anything like that. When Ben walked out covered in blood they walked out the front seeing all the cameras flashing at them. 

"People are coming out now. It's not the armed robbers. These are young schoolchildren in uniforms with masks on." They were being asked a million questions but none of them answered they just stood there smiling, y/n looked up to see Vanya and their father standing there, y/n hated seeing Vanya left out thats why she made a promise to always hang with Vanya whenever she could. Five saw the sad face on y/n and it made his face drop, y/n saw him staring with a sad look an understood he saw how she was feeling, he put his arm across his shoulders holding her tight. They both hoped the other one wouldn't see their blush. Their father walked in front of them,

"our world has changed. Their are some among us gifted with abilities far beyond the ordinary. I have adopted seven such children." Those words made y/n tense up, five turned to her,

"Hey, look at me, don't listen to him as long as we show Vanya we love her that's all that matters right? Now stop looking stupid and smile. y/n just rolled her eyes and smiled.

"I give you the inaugural class of the Umbrella Academy!" He was bombarded with questions and he only answered a couple leaving the rest standing there waiting.
