Chapter 33

We walked into the bar that Luther was supposed to be at, he was sitting at a table drinking his beer. Me and Klaus walked up to him but he ignored us,

"Trying a little hair of the dog, are we?" I was teasing but I needed him to hurry up to get to y/n,

"Leave me alone." He was upset about something but Diego came behind us and pushed us away,

"Give us a minute." We walked away to a counter top near the entrance while the two boys talked, I was starting to worry more about y/n....what if this guy hurts her? Klaus could tell I was a bit stiff and put his hand on my shoulder,

"You worried about y/n?" I figured why not talk to Klaus...it's only Klaus, I nodded my head and he sighed. "Same, don't worry, so....does she know you like her yet?" I looked at him with wide eyes,

"What are you talking about?" I tried to act dumb but this was Klaus,

"I've seen the way you look at her and how close you guys have gotten." He looked back at the other boys, "You guys have always had the softer relationship with each other, ever since kids." I chuckled at that but then Luther got up fast,

"You should've led with that! Jesus Christ!" He stormed out of the bar finally, we can go help the girls. 

Y/N'S POINT OF VIEW 

We walked into the hospital room to see a man who was in bad shape, covered in blood and in bandages. 

"Mr.Luntz? Mr.Luntz, can you hear me?" The man finally woke up looking at the three figures standing at the end of his bed,

"Who, um....who are you?" He seemed to struggle to get the words out,

"I'm sergeant Cheddar, and this is...this is my...associate and her daughter. Just have a couple of questions for you." I'm Allison's daughter now even though I'm older, the man looked a little worried for some reason.

"Am I in trouble?" That's why he was worried,

"No trouble, nothin like that. I just....I wanted to ask you about the accident in the Bearskin Tavern parking lot last night." I wanted to laugh from what the cop said, what type of name is Bearskin.

"You're a cop. You gotta protect me no matter what, right?" He was acting really sus about this,

"It's my sworn duty." Allison held my hand out of stress,

"It was no accident. This guys...hired us to start a fight. He wanted us to rough him up in front of his girlfriend. He paid real good, up front." This had to be Harold, "We got drunk. Took it a little too far. Started to hassle the girl, too." I swear I will kill this guy, Allison grabbed my hand tight knowing I would probably react badly. "And then all hell broke loose." 

"The guy who paid you, what did he look like?" Allison started to ask questions to the guy, "Brown hair, light scruff, slight build?" The officer started to look at Allison catching onto us not needing him for a movie work.

"Yeah, yeah that's him." The man laying down said,

"Well, that's a....a really good guess." The cop stated and I knew Allison just blew our cover,

"Is this the girlfriend?" Allison took out the back page of Vanya's book and showed it to the man, the cop came over pushing us aside behind the curtains.

"Hey, by any chance is your movie called small town cop calls for Hollywood star and Childs bullshit?" Yep, thanks Allison.

"We're sorry for misleading you." I butted in to this conversation,

"I believe the word would be lying." Smartass...

"We're sorry we lied. But we didn't know how else to get answers." I gave him pleading eyes but I didn't know what else to say,

"This is our sister. I think the guy that put him in this hospital has her. We have to find her." Allison said for me.

"I could get fired for just bringing you down here with me." He said a little mad but I knew he would still help,

"Please. I think she's in trouble. I need your help." The man sighed and opened the curtain back up showing the man,

"Answer the lady's question. Is this the girlfriend?" The man opened his man to speak but a nurse came into the room.

"Sorry but the doctors ordered more tests. You're gonna have to ask him questions later." We walked out the room disappointed, we waited until he should've been done and asked a nurse where he was.

"I took him to X-ray and then he disappeared." He was gone? He had to reason to run though.

"We...you better let security know. I'll call it in." The officer said, the lady went to walk off when he called her back grabbing the photo of Vanya off Allison, "One more thing. Do you recognize  this woman?" The woman studied the photo for a second,

"She left with Mr. Peabody this morning." I knew she was with him,

"Wait, this morning? They must've been here when we stopped by the cabin." Allison added,

"Yeah. Maybe they went back there." I added. "We're gonna go get our sister." We went to walk off but the cop had to stop us again,

"Woah, hold on. We got a missing Vic, and this guy might be dangerous. I need you to stay here." He walked off to find the guy, "Allison fricken Hargreeves, man oh man." When he left me and Allison rushed out of there going to go find Vanya.
