Chapter 14

SORRY FOR NOT POSTING FOR AWHILE I ACTUALLY HAVE TO USE MY MUMS COMPUTER RIGHT NOW LOL! :) 

"I survived on scraps. Canned food, cockroaches, anything I could find.....You know the rumor that Twinkies have an endless shelf life? Well, it's total bullshit." Y/n tried to hold her laugh in with that last sentence but accidently let one go. 

"Sorry I just never thought that would be used in this situation...anyway go on." Five smiled at her, missing this and wishing he had never left in the first place. He thought about how he wished he could have taken y/n with him but he snapped himself out of that as it was selfish.

"I can't even imagine" Vanya snapped Five out his thoughts . 

"You do whatever it takes to survive, or you die. So we adapted. Whatever the world through at us, we found a way to overcome it.'"

"We?" Y/n said, she thought he was alone....who could have survived the apocalypses, was that even possible. Five ignored y/n's question, 

"Got anything stronger?" Vanya got up and poured 3 cups of whiskey, Five walked over to Vanya and grabbed it taking it in one shot. "You think I'm crazy ?" 

"No it's just a lot to take in."

"Exactly what don't you understand" Y/n had zoned out of their conversation thinking of something that happened a while back. 

-FLASHBACK- 

"Y/N GET INSIDE NOW AND GO INTO MY OFFICE!" Their father yelled at y/n without caring Five was gone and she had tears down her face as she was still sitting on the sidewalk. She walked inside scared she would be punished because of her actions. She went into her fathers office knowing something would happen. Her father walked in grabbing a needle and jabbing it into her adopted daughters arm, she soon feel to the ground in a deep sleep. She woke up in a underground chamber, one light was flicking and their were spicks all along the walls, their was one single bed in the corner of the room and one window to look into the hall their was. Her father walked into the chamber closing the door once Pogo came in. "Tell me where Five went, your the reason he is gone. You let him go and I know you know where he went."

"Father I don't know I swear. I ran after him and grabbed his hand begging him to stay but he pushed me off of him and jumped, that's all that happened I swear." Their father nodded at Pogo, y/n turned around looking at Pogo with puffy red eyes, she could see he was feeling guilty but of what? Then all of a sudden Pogo pulled something out of his pocket and put it on y/n's arm. Y/n screamed in pain realizing it was electrocuting her, her father was going to do this over and over until he thought she was telling the truth even though she was. Her father did this for a couple more years letting her out only for breakfast, lunch and dinner. He knew he could do that because he knew she would keep it a secret of what he was doing to her, until one day she ran out the house like Five did but without talking and ran to a alleyway, crying and hardly breathing. She looked down at the scars she had all over her from where her father was electrocuting her and it made her cry more. A similar blue light like Five's flashed near her. With hope she looked up only to be disappointed to see a woman kneel down next to her. 

"I can help you and make you happy if you come with me." 

"Who are you?" Y/n finally asked with anger, she had not spoken in a year so her voice was croaky. 

"Well dear....I'm your Auntie" Y/n looked up shocked, she thought all her family was dead. The woman looked at y/n and held out her hand for y/n to grab and she did just that and they disappeared in a blue flash like she used to with Five.

-FLASH BACK OVER- 

"This was a mistake. You're too young...too naïve to understand." Five grabbed y/n's hand and shook her out of her daze. She looked down as he led her out getting butterfly's by them holding hands.

"No. Five, y/n, wait. I haven't seen you both in a very long time, and I don't want to lose you guys again. That's all. And you know what, it's late, and....I have lessons early, and I need sleep, and I'm sure you guys do too. Here" She grabbed a blanket and some pillows and put them on the couch. "We'll talk in the morning again. Okay? I promise, night" 

"Night" me and Five said together. Vanya walked into her room and Five walked over to the couch and pulled out a eyeball,

"Oh Five gross, put it away please." Five put it back smirking at y/ns comment, he went to get up to leave when y/n grabbed his hand and pushed him down. "Five I know you need rest and so do I, we can do it in the morning or just get up in 30 minutes but please, just rest." 

"Ok fine. But I'm waking us both up soon. He pulled y/n down on the couch with him. hugging her as she nuzzled her head in his chest. 

"What are you doing?" 

"Getting comfortable" He said with a smirk. Not soon later they both fell asleep in each others arms, at first y/n was confused but she thought he was just tired that's all.
