Chapter 39

Y/n's point of view

I groaned in pain and slowly opened my eye, the glare of the light above me blinded me for a moment. I felt someone holding my head so I turned slightly to see Five holding my head in his lap while talking, most words were muffled at that moment in time. Everything started to come back to me...pogo...Allison...the house...Vanya...I started to freak, it became harder to breathe and my heart pumped twice as fast. Then I felt a hand on my hand and suddenly calmed, I took ahold of everything.

Five's point of view

I was listening to Allison and Luther argue, 

"Look, I hate to be the one to say this, but everyone needs to prepare." Luther started,

"For what?" Allison asked,

"To do whatever it takes to stop Vanya." Allison looked at Luther like he was crazy and went to interrupt but Luther didn't allow it. "We may not have a choice, Allison." That's when I felt y/n move and I looked down to see her panicking, I put my hand on her hand and she slowly calmed. 

"Hey," I calmly whispered, she looked up at me and a smile peaked on her face, she looked down at my hand on hers and intertwined our fingers. I lifted them up and kissed them, she giggled quietly and I couldn't help but smile myself, as we were looking at each other a huge thump interrupted the moment. Y/n jumped up and there was Luther standing at the lane, he threw a bowling ball but failed miserably. I went back to looking at y/n, "You ok?"

"Yeah, I don't know what happened before it was like someone else took over and I couldn't do anything. I was so scared Five.....I was." She slowly started to tear up and I held her into my chest and kissed her forehead, I lowered my head to her ear and whispered,

"I know, I know. It's ok now y/n I promise." She looked at me with hope and I kissed her on the lips but something caught our attention, 

"Hey, you know, guys, uh...Maybe I could help." Klaus said,

"Now is not the time." Luther commented and that's when y/n stood up crossing her arms,

"No, let him finish." She glared daggers at Luther,

"He saved my life today," Diego added. 

"Really?" Y/n asked "Is it true?" She turned to Klaus,

"Yeah, yeah, I did...take credit for it. In fact, the real hero...was Ben." Everyone groaned and looked away including me but once again y/n stood there still listening as if she believed it, she put the hope in everyone no matter the story. "Today...Listen. Today, he punched me in the face. And earlier at the house, he was the one who saved Diego's life, not me." Luther got up closer to Klaus,

"You are unbelievable Klaus." Y/n once again glared at Luther and he stepped back knowing the face, and scared of what happened earlier, I honestly wouldn't hate if she did throw him in a wall but I can't trust her with losing control.

"You want proof, is that it? All right. I...I'll give you proof." Klaus stood up and grabbed a bowling ball, he moved back and started to prep like he was going to throw it, I noticed y/n was too close and I stood up, grabbed her waist and sat us down with her on my lap. She giggled and kissed my nose, she turned back at Klaus but I looked at her for a second more before turning to Klaus as well. "All right, it's Showtime, baby. Catch!" He then threw the bowling ball but it hit the ground, Y/n turned to me and hid her head in my shoulder knowing she couldn't stand up for Klaus in this moment. 

"Is there anyway to silence that voice in your head that screams out to be the center of attention?" Luther said, I felt y/n's hand grip  onto my arm tighter so she didn't flip at Luther, I put my hand on her back to calm her down.

"You know, I liked you a lot better before you got laid." Everyone of us looked at Luther in surprise except y/n, she was laughing in my shoulder, I don't think she could even look or she would be on the ground crying out of laughter. Allison was looking at Luther with complete despair, "Which was a complete...It...It wasn't his fault, cause he was ridiculously high, right? And...And the girl, she thought he was a furry..." Klaus was trying to fix what he said and y/n was laughing harder causing me to laugh as well, she looked at me laughing while putting her hand up to my mouth to shut me up even though she was laughing harder than me. We were acting like children,

"Stop!, Okay. Allison, wait." Allison walked out of the building, I looked at y/n and we both started to laugh again. 

Y/n's point of view

"Excuse me! Excuse me, it's my son Kenny's birthday today, and...uh...wouldn't your son and his girlfriend be happier playing with kids his own age?" Me and Five looked at each other weirdly and back at the lady, "Assuming it's okay with your two dads." Five leaned forward and I knew some "nice" words,

"I would rather chew off my own foot." The mum and son looked scared, I put my arm out to block Five.

"I'm sorry for him, we would love to but unfortunately we have to go somewhere pretty soon, but thank you for asking anyway." She smiled at me and turned to her son, 

"Lets go Kenny." And with that they walked away, Five turned and looked at each other,

"Of course you went all nice." I just smirked at him,

"Well I knew you couldn't," He then nudged me and chuckled. I messed up his hair and he gave me a sarcastic shocked face and I giggled, next to us flirting Diego and Klaus were having a argument about if they were gay.  We heard a sound as if the commission had sent us a message, Five got up and walked to where it came from so I followed. When I got up to where he was, he was holding a golden case with a message inside, so I was correct it's from the commission. He opened up the note and read the address, he didn't give me a change to read it. "Five let me read the note,"

"No, I'm not letting you come with me." I went to say something but she shushed me, he pulled out one of the lollies he took from the handlers office and opened it, inside was a tracker of course. "She's smart," he then went to leave but I grabbed his arm,

"I'm coming with you." I said,

"No you're not," I crossed my arms and glared. "Fine, get your jacket," I turned to the seats. 

"But I didn't bring a-" And he was gone, wow he can be a asshole.
