And I am so glad that the ghost busting gone smoothly. Although with Danny...

Sure I see him as an ally, but that doesn't mean I will come upfront with it. There would be too many questions and some questions should never be answered, per demigod code.

I'm not surprised that Danny had given me a fearful and suspicious look. Every ghost had either rage, submission or fear toward me. The suspicious look was also not unexpected, considering that I'm an enigma within a supposedly old routine for Danny and gang.

And that's how the next day came about, after sleeping so gobsmacked tired with Will looking at me and asking, "What do we do now?"

At night, I'm free to hunt ghosts without much disturbance. At day, I would be stupid to do such, with so many witnesses and too many mistakes easy to make.

There was also the fact, well... let's call them my contractor. My contractor had assured me that this would proceed smoothly as a normal mission.

I'm inclined to disbelieve, considering what Octavian told me, but I want to hold faith that they would be able to uphold their end of the bargain. After all, I have too little information to go forward with whatever's brewing behind the scenes. I could go look into it, but my options for that are quite impossibly limited that they near zero as the ways that present themselves proved tricky or risky.

Although... maybe, the only lead I have is Danny Phantom and Danny Fenton. What I want to know... is how. Once I confirmed, changed my perspective of impossible to possible, then... maybe an informer was born.

I have a few options with this. I can 'accidentally' see a transformation and used it as blackmail.

And then finally, I can get to my true lead to what the ghosts are truly scheming: the Ghost Zone...

OK... some people might ask: why does it have to be needlessly complicated? Why not confront Danny Fenton about being Danny Phantom? Why not just ask Danny Phantom about wanting to go in the Ghost Zone? Why not just go to the Ghost Zone yourself?

As you can see from the ridiculous questions, they can be answered too easily. Danny Fenton would needlessly deny being Danny Phantom and that will get nowhere. Danny Phantom would think me being crazy for a human wanting to go to the world of ghosts, and I understand why, considering the attacks made by ghosts. It would be akin of saying to want to go to a war zone. And I can't go myself because Will expressly forbade me to. And once he makes his mind up, there is no changing it.

So, you see... limited options that I have to go with the needlessly complicated one. I can blame Will, but I know he cares for me.

But as said, I have limited options. So although it's a priority, there might be other things to be done. Mostly out of curiosity and to see whether whatever has been going so far will spiral more out of chaos and confusion.

Because there was an undeniable fact that this town has suffered ghost attacks for how long now?! And it was amazing that it wasn't even known until now...! And that's not even true, because for the fact that Hades still doesn't know due to my contractor's interference.

But I know already... things are spiralling out of control. No matter how much my contractor says they have a handle for it, I'm inclined to disbelieve.

So, with all these facts on the ground, I answered Will's question: what are we going to do?

"I want to know more about this town. The ghost attacks. It's amazing that such things happened here and the world hasn't got wind of it."
