When I woke up, I was pretty sure I would be having those end credits, where it goes, 'and then he dies. The end.'
But instead of being in the Underworld permanently, my eyes were adjusting to the green light of an unknown place, and with my vision widening, I saw it was because the whole placed was bathed with green... ectoplasm, and throughout, there were floating islands with different buildings or jungles around.
Soon enough, I also realised I was floating while being carried by ghostly arms. When I looked up, I saw that it was Dracula carrying me.
"And I hope that you would have woken up after we put you in prison," Dracula said.
"And I thought that I would already be dead," I scoffed.
"Did you really think we would be stupid enough to actually kill a son of Hades that would make Hades himself aware of our actions? That would be a game over for all the ghosts if that ever happened," Dracula said.
"Says the person who said he would get rid of me," I said.
"Well, get rid of you, yes. Putting you in our prison where you can't do a thing while the whole revolution goes underway is getting rid of you. And no one else would even know or can stop us with you out of the way," Dracula said.
Yeah, so not only did I underestimate that horde of ghosts sneak attack, I misinterpreted the fact that they were not going to kill me, but imprison me.
Yeah, what a situation I have now.
"So why did Octavian said he would assassinate me? And you too, actually?" I asked.
"Octavian...? Oh, you mean the first one sent after you. And did he really say that? Well, he must have wanted to kill you personally. No skin off my back. As for me, I never said I was going to assassinate you, did I?"
"But-" I started but when I put more thought on it, I realised Dracula was right. I seriously misinterpreted my own situation, and this misinterpretation might cost me. After all, what are the chances of my friends and boyfriend actually coming here to rescue me when I could be dead for all they know?
... Well, actually, Will probably wouldn't want to give up hope. Cecil and Lou Ellen would definitely help him. Danny Phantom might come along as the ghost hero the more accepting citizens (Sam, Tucker, Jasmine and Danny Fenton) make him out to be.
But this place... the unknown Ghost Zone, it was incredibly unlikely that the gang would think that I was brought here to be imprisoned even with Danny in tow. And this place was vast, as well as a place one would be easily lost for just in the sea of green save for floating islands here and there, too common to pinpoint any locations save for some islands that give out too unique vibes that could help understand my own surroundings.
But the main problem is that the place is really too large to understand my surroundings nonetheless and being knocked out for some time obviously doesn't help. I should start talking to Dracula here and get the details of what's to be done since I was captured like this.
"Where are you bringing me?" I asked.
"Didn't I say so already? To prison. Don't worry, the warden would take good care of you. And you really shouldn't be awake until you reached there, or else you would have funny ideas or start asking more competent questions. Better to put you back to sleep," Dracula mused.
"By singing me a lullaby?" I snarked, trying to shadow travel outta here but-
"Wha- I can't...?" I murmured to myself but it seemed that Dracula caught it and smirked.
"Trying to escape like how you usually would done? Shadow travel, is that what Hades children call it? Too bad you couldn't do it in a place like this. There is no escape, so have a nice sleep while I send you to your permanent residence. And I'm not singing you a lullaby. I prefer a more effective method to put someone to sleep," Dracula said.
