The War (Book 2)

Prologue

@CogaPlush I didn't use the cover you made. Mostly because this story would be almost nothing related to that. But don't worry I'll use it on the next story. 

Previously on Don't Leave Me (Book 1)

Cream: But. Ever since that night in the storm. I've had these feelings. I don't know how it came. It just did. What I'm saying is. Tails. I love you.

Tails looked at her.

Tell her the truth!

Come on Tails!

Tell her you love her!

You know it's true!

Tails: Cream. I'm sorry.

Tails's headaches started aching again. And he ran off. He didn't want to see her tears. He didn't want his fear to come true again.

Cream: Tails. Please don't leave me.

Book 2 begin

Tails started running while crying. He felt the pain in his heart as he left Cream by herself. And she knew if she truly loves him back. Then she feels more pain than he did. Cause he knew. No matter how anyone saw it. He was leaving her. As he left the headaches got worse and worse. Every memory of his past kept coming back. He kept running until he got to the memory he was always afraid of. He was afraid of it ever happening again. Then punched the tree he was next to. 

Tails: Why did I do that!? Because of my actions it may happen again. And I never want to see that again. What should I do? Cosmo.

Eggman: OHOHOHOHOHO!!!!! Look who's all alone. Did you really think that attack from earlier was serious?

Tails: I'm not in the mood. I need some time to myself.

Eggman pressed a button. Suddenly the Master Emerald appeared and instantly zapped Tails. He was too distracted by his mistakes to even dodge. 

Eggman: Lucky for me that dumb echidna can't keep his eye on his emerald. If this works it should not only take his intelligence. But give it to me. 

But suddenly the Emerald started reacting. And glowed shinier and duller. 

Eggman: What? What's going on? The emerald is overloading the machine! It's gonna blow!

Eggman quickly takes cover. As not only the machine but even the Master Emerald blows up. Sending a few master emerald pieces and Tails away. Not just away. But away from Earth. Sending Tails and the some of the emerald shards millions of miles away from earth. And Tails uses his final words as he takes his final breath.

Tails: Cream. I'm sorry. Please forgive me.
