The War (Book 2)

Wispon

Whisper wakes up in the morning and sees a sleeping Buster and Gemerl (he was shut off) she was wondering where Tails was and snuck to the back and saw him still working on his plans. He looked like he's been up all night. Then she looked to the side and saw crates of weird looking weapons that she's never seen before.

Whisper: What are you making?

Tails: Huh? It's a surprise. What are you doing here?

Whisper: Worried about how long you've been up.

Tails: Not important. I'll be done in a bit then get sleep.

Whisper: You've better. You know I can help.

Tails: No thanks. I'm good. Like I said I'll be done soon. Maybe an hour or so. And what's a surprise if you know?

Whisper: Ya about that. What's this surprise you've been talking about?

Tails: Nothing special. Just awesome stuff.

Whisper: If you say so.

Whisper leaves the room.

Later

Buster wakes up to see Whisper still waiting for Tails.

Buster: Huh? You're still here?

Whisper: Why wouldn't I? Tails has been awake since last night. So he would've been without supervision if i wasn't here.

Buster: Good point but still. Anyway is he still awake?

Whisper: I haven't checked on him recently.

Whisper and Buster walked to the back and found Tails asleep on a table with a strange looking weapon.

Whisper: What's that?

Whisper picks the strange weapon and was about to press the trigger. And conveniently Tails woke up just then.

Tails: DON'T TOUCH IT!!!!!! (shadow memes are fun)

They got startled and Whisper accidently presses the trigger. Then suddenly a cyan blue laser appears and nearly hits Tails and instead blasts a hole in the wall. And that made everyone a little shocked while Tails puts on his awkward face.

Tails: There goes the surprise.

Whisper and Buster: WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT!!!!!!????

Tails: The surprise. 

Whisper and Buster: Explain.

Tails sighs.

Tails: A LONG time ago in a place far far away. I visited a planet. It was all full of life. And there were these creatures full of peace. I was there on a mission. I was supposed to study them. So I asked their mom if I can study them peacefully and it was only just an observe study. She agreed as long as it stays peaceful. After a while of observing I found out they had this amazing energy unlike most. And these weapons are based on those. Of course they're not as strong as the aliens. But it's as close as I can get.

Whisper: Ok. So what does these others do?

She pointed at the crates.

Tails: These are the other types of wispons.

Buster: Wispons?

Tails: Thats what I'm calling it. Named after the alien race wisps. 

Whisper: More types?

Tails: Yup. I made a lightning wispon for Tangle. And a cube wispon for Zero. And the white wispon for the rest of the army.

Whisper: What's this one?
